Darren, the bucks here shed their antlers around the first week in March, is that about the same timeframe there for that to happen? I’m glad Slash is still kicking!
Hey Don, they shed here in February. I have a clip of Slash on 2/12 antlerless.
Huh. First time I've seen turkeys in a while. I wonder why? We have them over here east of Noble, but more unseen or heard than not. That is; they aren't regulars, and I know we have plenty of feed. I guess they're pretty shy.
We occasionally have a big flock of them pass thru, then we will hear them for awhile. These two came through by themselves, then Yote treed them down by the barn. lol They don't stick around here long. I think the bobcats and foxes work on them pretty good.
Was that a fox with the tennis ball? Do you have any idea where Yote's toys were when they got liberated?
Yeah, the fox had a tennis ball and the coyote had another, but it was bigger and had a squeaker in it. The coyote squeeeked it pretty good there if you had your volume up. It was pretty funny. I guess my dog Yote takes them out in the yard from inside, then the coyote and fox picked them up and took them to the woods. I found the squeaker ball down there where the coyote left it. I thought Yote took it down there and left it at first til I saw the video. LOL
