That's a pretty slick idea you got for private property, but these trail cameras stealing thieves here public land in Michigan would have everything gone. I don't care how much you secure them to the tree either with a chain or a cable or a security box they'll just shoot it off the tree.

Filmed a juvenile Red-tailed hawk just feet away from me. She was having a late lunch squirrel as I talked to her.

Just curious... my wife and I both think we're seeing fewer songbirds and raptors than in years past, over here east of Noble. Not sure if that's because we're older and getting out less or if it's reality. How about over by you folks?

When was this filmed? The creek was dry which is unusual. Sure looks like a young coyote, hope he moves on and leaves the chickens and fawns alone.

Nice looking fawns and does (all are healthy) ------------ I'm not sure (no way to know) but on the triplets the very first thing I noticed is one of the fawns the white spots are very dim compared to the spots on the other two fawns. Does will adopt a dead does fawn on occasion (doe gets hit by car or shot by hunter) or it could be this doe got bred by two bucks and had triplets, no way to know. I probably should have kept my mouth shut but just something I noticed. LOL

I have red berry bushes that birds like to eat in winter and I have a bird feeder also and I have seen male and female Cardinals that hang out around my home every winter that use my bird feeder daily in winter. They often hang out in groups or pairs and from what i've read they mate for life and only take a new mate if one dies. Fun to watch Cardinals and to see a group of them flittering around.

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) reintroduced North American river otters (Lontra canadensis) to eastern Oklahoma in 1984 and 1985. The otters were purchased from a private vendor in Louisiana for $400 each, and the ODWC implanted miniature radio transmitters in them to track their reintroduction. The reintroduction was part of an experiment to see how the otters would adapt to Oklahoma. As of October 2022, the otter population in Oklahoma is in good shape and is spread throughout the eastern half of the state, especially in the southeast region. Darren is there two bobcats? Seems one is young and slender and the other more filled out. I can't believe people shoot them. To me that's worse than shooting bambie. Of course if you have chickens then maybe you aren't so fond of them. LOL
