    I’ve been riding the E12 and E13 Rallystars on my Africa Twin for quite a while. The E12 Rallystar rear in 140/80-18 usually gives me about 2500-3000 km of life but they grip surprisingly well everywhere.

    Dual Venture vs Enduro XT front cage match. I have been less than impressed with Motoz Dual Venture front. Its loud, wobbly, and my side wall bubbled at 2k miles.

      I'll have a walk around of the two once they get back in-stock. Spoiler: the XT+ is the winner.

    Love the reviews tire oracle! Hows the weight of these compare to other tires? Do you have a spreadsheet of tire weights somewhere? Light Tuareg 660 feels the heavy tires!

    Hello.
    I just put 1 in the front of my Aprilia Tuareg 660 to replace a k60 ranger.
    I've only drove on the road and off-road with lots of mud.
    And I must say, with the k60 I had lost all my confidence when driving on mud.
    With this trail xt+, all my confidence is back. This tyre is so amazing in mud, it's like there's no mud. It's really impressive the traction level but also the directional power in such condition.
    I highly recommend it.
    I've also one for the rear, but not yet fitted it (waiting that my k60 ranger wears out).
    Also (in France at least), it's not expensive. I've paid 190€ for a set.

      Thank you for your feedback! This is what I would have expected to read hearing you took off a K60 Ranger. I was not a fan of that front tire! Rear was good 1/2 way through and then got interesting. These are working well thus far!!!

    I think you might be the perfect person to ask this, seeing as you've tested so many ADV tires. I'm currently running a K60 Scout rear (130/80-17 w/o central strip) and a E07+ front (90/90-21) on my F650GS Dakar, but I've found the front grip lacking in sandy & muddy conditions. It seems to want to dart all over the place, not very confidence inspiring for a newbie in the soft stuff. Would you reckon the Mitas front would be a good match with the K60 rear for trail riding? Or maybe even the TKC80, old but gold(?).

    • @manybikes

      Thank you for your inquiry. I would recommend the new Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ tire in the front. It is one of the best soft sandy Adv tires currently available.

    Would love your thoughts directly comparing to MotoZ RallZ tires!! Either a comment or a video but I think that's what so many of us are going to be coming from and excited that Mitas now has an option for us. If we get 4k combined milage out of these on street/off road I'll be happy and the price is excellent!

      Cage Match XT+ vs. RallZ The Mitas tiers are reversible so they will have "dual venture" like longevity which for me is upwards of 9k miles! The rear tire, we will see. Over 2k miles in and while it shows wear it's not half worn! Working to get over to my "test loop" and then I will put together an XT+ / RallZ corner for corner feeling / shootout. That will be awesome! Stay tuned!

    What your opinion on them in wet sand? I've been fairly unimpressed with the motoz DV in anything soft. So much so I can easily say the Shinko 705 front tracks better in it; The DV turns into slicks holding onto all the sand as I go. I'm not in the right climate for the Motoz H/T, so I'm thinking about either the Enduro Trail XT+ or Motoz I/T as my next Front wheel. I'm doing less and less highway (i know I should've gotten the 690, but now I'm emotionally attached XD) so highway comfort is less of a burden.

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  6 місяців тому +2

      Yes, I would agree with you in the fact that the soft muddy stuff can clog up a DV. I've been running the Endueo ST Fatty and love it in that terrain. The new XT+ is a good compromise between those two. Shoot me an email and I'll send you a comparison pic between them. Manybikes at g mail dot com.

    I have a mitas e09 on my wr 250r and the best tire for powerslides, so far. if you are looking for a rear tire with ultra grip in corners, skip this. It has a very wide limit and makes it really easy to learn powerslides, because there are not so many blocks on the side like on other tires. A Motoz adventure has way more forward grip but is sketchier in corners (higher grip level, more sudden grip loss and more difficult to control). I think they are a little more planted than the Anakee Wilds which move like riding on a cloud

      Would you say this is an advantage or disadvantage on a lighter bike. I’ll be running on a CRF300L. I want to be able to lean over far on the street while giving up as little off road capability as possible.

    Thanks for your review! Could you compare these to AX41?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  5 місяців тому +1

      Yes, I can do that. "There is no comparison" :) No really, the 2Track is a great all around tire with limitations when it comes to weight, comfort, cold weather and ease of mounting. It's a great all around tire. The AX41 doesn't last long but is a high performance knobby.

      @@manybikes Thanks for your reply! I was actually interested in the comparison between AX41 and Mitas XT+, not with the 2Track :)

      Oopsie! Sorry, that was the most recent video and the lionshare of my comments to respond to today. Yes, I will have an AX41 vs. XT+ video. They are very similar. The AX41 will last longer, that is for sure. I like the tread depth of the XT+ front tire. I am really pleased with it.

    So is the tusk 2track no good?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  6 місяців тому

      It's a solid tire. Didn't like it in the cold / wet. Off road it was great.

      Ok only reason I ask is they didn't stay on the KTM for long is all. I'm in FL so cold and wet isn't really a thing IMO

      @@MotoCampAdv yeah, I've got three other tires to test NOW... so I rode them on two good multiple day 50/50 trips. No way I could keep them on another 5k to 10k miles. I shipped them to AdvMatt and he has them on his T7. Go check him out... and track the 2nd life of this tire. Edit: Ha! Ha! I just re-read this... "track & 2 nd" like a backwards 2 track!!!

    You helped me so much in getting some tires recently.
    Have Motoz Ralls on now and 2Tracks waiting next in line for my Norden.
    Was interested in these too.
    Appreciate your efforts!

      These are pretty dang good! About $40 more than the 2 Tracks... way better in the cold / wet, that's for sure.

    Kyle, thanks for this review and all the others over the years. Would you recommend the XTs for a CRF450RL that is ridden 50/50 on road off road? If not, what would be your preference?

      Thanks for replying. I will be ordering a pair from you. What size do you recommend? Stock sizes are: 120/80-18 and80/100-21. Should I order the Dakar version?

    • @manybikes
      @manybikes  5 місяців тому

      I'd personally do the non-Dakar. It is lighter and more compliant. I would do the 120/80-18 and the 90/90-21
