True bhaii vipassana centre jaane se pehle ghr pr bethne ka practice bht important hai . Abhi 2 days back mai wapas aya Vipassana centre se unfortunately mai 4 din hi ruk paya aur mai agya reason aane ka wahi 1st to bht pain hua back aur legs mai 2nd thoda theek hua phir 3rd day wapas bhtt pain hone laga back and legs mai and same 4th day mai bhtt zada hi problems honi lagi bhtt pain hone lga mujhe aana pada bhtt dukh huaa mujhe ki mai 10 din nhi ruk paya 😭😭😭😭😭
Koi baat ni.... practice karke phir chale jana kabhi...keep trying 👍👍
Next Time You Go to any centre Go with 101% Determination that i will Complete 10 days abiding all rules and discipline Im Dhammasevak at Igatpuri i often go there to serving I work in MALE COURSE OFFICE i often Face such cases but i ve also seen those same people leave in middle they regret they get highly regret but Next Time they Visit centre they Come with higyly determination and Complete Course happily "Determination & Hardwork " during Course will benefit you more...
The entire game of vipasanna is that only going through the pain,if unbearable take 5min walk out of dhamma hall but by 5th day start having strong determination to sit for entire sitting,longer u sit the deeper sankharas will come out of our body
Mind blowing truth is that the same pain if u observe with equanimity will vanish in next few minutes if u keep doing vipasanna and yes that pain sensation is our sankhara(karam sanskars)that's the beauty of vipasanna meditation 🙏

@@MR_FactologistBeth paogay brother thoda determination chahiye hota hai,every hour time increase kar kar k he hota hai just how u workout in gym from 3 kg slowly u move to 5 to 10 to 20 🙏 entire vipasanna process is to train the mind first make it stronger to sit through pain so the deep rooted sankharas can come up on surface n eradicate itself,lot of people miss this thing n the most important staying equanimous
I just came back from my 3rd long course I went so deep that I felt pain of a bullet inside my back and I sat through it observed it n it vanished that was my deep rooted one out of many sankhara,also the centre bodh gaya has different energies it's unbelievable I felt 10 days just went by like anything because I was highly focused n didn't waste any time even after lunch break i would sit in cell 🙏 Mangal ho

I enrolled for November, during daytime I require woolens or not. Nite quilt is required. Mosquito repellent machine can be used, room must have a plug-in option or not....Bcos mobiles and gadgets not allowed. Moreover It's my first time. I am not sure, whether able to sit for 12 hours in a day. Hope they provide some assistance to first timers... 👍🏻
November will be cold there...so take winter clothes...at night they will provide whatever is required...no tension.... mosquito repellent if required , they will provide it too.... electric socket is present in the room.... don't forget to take Alarm clock with you.....
For those people who can't sit for long...they give back support option & chair sitting option( but only in extreme cases)...
If you forget anything to take with you eg.. toothbrush 🙃.....they have bucket system ...in which you write on a slip what you want....& They will give you the next day....so don't worry.....& And the end , they will charge you for what you have ordered.

Kya october month me jana thik rahega? October ke liye 16 Aug se booking start hogi to kya seats turant book ho jati hai...ya slot book karne me problem aa sakti hai.
Booking raat 12 bje shuru ho jati hai..... bahut jaldi jaldi seats book ho jati hai .....meri bhi pehle waiting aa rhi thi seat....baad me confirm ho gyi thi

It is both in hindi and english....8 pm to 9pm every day

Cantt station se bus stand jana....vaha se Dharamshala ki bus milegi....phir auto me McLeod Ganj.....
1st time course kr rahe ho to sharing room milega..

maine already 2 session liye hai lekin dusre vipasana centre se ... agar mai is location ke liye apply karta hoo toh muje single room meelega yaa sharing room
90% chance hai single room milne ka....but room availability pe bhi depend karta hai....
Vese bhi single room ho ya double room...12 ghante to hall me hi bethna hai...6 ghante sona hai....2 ghante dining hall & washroom....
1 ghanta walking.....
To room me to 3 ghante hi rehna hai🙃
I have 2 questions:-
1)Is it safe for females travelling alone?
2) can we directly go to the centre without prior registration. I heard there is a waiting of 2 months but i would like to enroll immediately.

In July we have to use blankets at night....so, April will be even colder than July....
July - good weather , but raining almost all the time
April - less rain, but colder..
For meditation, I think cold weather will be a hindrance..
So...July is better...
