If more people will start pursuing it, it's going to become impossible if multiple people in the lobby are going for it and contesting the wonders to boot. Ultimately, religious victory can become one of the win cons players choose to pursue if not faced with enough opposition for it.

Discount stacking is something that kind of disenchants me about the game, and makes me wish there were more flexibility about how modifiers stack. The fact that discount modifiers stack additively is pretty dumb

Many of the religious civs in the unmodded game would be overpowered by BBG standards even without religious victory being an option. Base game Khmer has bonuses that are just overtuned to the point that, if you dropped it into BBG without any nerfs, it would be one of the best civs for pursuing science and domination victory, just on the basis of its incredibly strong fundamentals. If you want a frame of reference for what BBG's power level is at, some examples of leaders that are mostly unchanged by the mod are Hojo Tokimune and Poundmaker. Civs that are weaker than those are buffed (Netherlands, Georgia, etc.), while civs that are stronger than those are nerfed (Khmer, Gaul, etc.). Bare in mind that combat bonuses in the vanilla game are basically too strong across-the-board for multiplayer, so most domination-focused civs also got their combat bonuses hit in some fashion.
Religious civs are OP in multiplayer because Monumentality is fundamentally broken both in vanilla and partially in BBG: you can make extremely low investment in faith to get a huge boost in all other yields when you can faith buy settlers and workers, and this is also very early in the game. Therefore, civs that get a bonus from or is able to cheaply get holy sites has to be nerfed along with monumentality.
With the way you speaks it's sometimes hard to tell when you are joking or not in situations like this for example 7:38. Fez giving 20 Science but on standard speed game so that's meens he gonna give 10 science per Population on online speed so it's basically the same no?
It actually grants 5 science per population on online speed in BBG. At 2:24, you can see that I convert a 14 pop city and gain 140 science and 70 culture. That's 5 science per pop from Fez bonus, and 5 science & culture per pop from my leader bonus.

This victory is mostly possible due to the scoring method used to rank ppl in cpl. I really liked the idea of online civ but after trying it feels just as boring and way more tedious than beating the AI on deity. Just my opinion though. Thankfully I like watching ur videos that spares me sitting in a lobby for an hour and 4-6 hours of gaming for ppl to forfeit the game. Thank you for your service
