Yep. I've noticed this on several channels. Turning the comments off only enables comments for a bit. The comments get turned right back off many times. What really stinks is with comments turned off is comments that have been made can't be seen.

Absolutely, There's a video out there that explains this. They'll blockit so that only you see your comment or they delete all together. Especially if the comments are anti-dem/ocrat.

It’s happening for lots of channels, regardless of content. It’s happened to my latest 2 vids at upload. It seems to be a “bug” in studio. While we always assume Google/UA-cam is being nefarious, this could just be an example of “fix one thing, break another” updates in YT Studio. Annoying, dumb, but maybe not purposely done.
Instagram does the same for me. It’s selective. My friends can make comments but someone who does not mind backlash from their bots. they limit my ability to speak my mind and block my comments. 1A is going away. Reminds me of the brown shirts. 🤔

Instead of giving me the usual option of posting it on my page now the only thing coming up is sharing it to the story and very few people read those and they disappear off the screen quickly. I think it’s intentional and may be related to reducing your subscribers to lower your pay or decrease your presence because they don’t agree with the platform. I know this is happening a lot because channels are constantly reminding us to check!
There is a finely engineered narrative that they want people to hear. Can't have them stumbling across a stray video and seeing normal opinions causing them to doubt what's on the spoon.
