Sorry, it may just be me, but doesn't the woman with the ballroom hair at the end have the common sense to run really warm water over her hair to loosen it, instead of peeling her skin off with it? Ouch! 😬

The girl who cut her hair thinking she was using the thinning scissors, I once had a similar thing happen but it was at the salon. I had waist length red ringlets that Guiseppe Franco himself would cut but I was tight for funds (his cuts were $85 in 1992 so imagine what they are right now) and needed my roots touched up for my cousin's wedding. The stylist seemed mesmerized by my hair and in a blink of an eye, cut over 2 feet of gloriously healthy beautiful and extremely expensive locks of mine over one shoulder. Imagine my shock. She then proceeded to sit on the floor and hysterically cry. I felt like perhaps I'd slipped into a parallel universe cos the whole thing was so bizarre. She claimed she didn't know why she took the scissors and lopped one side to above the shoulder. Again, my hair was waist length!!!!
How weird! That must have been traumatic. Stuff like that is why people get freaked out about the stylist and try to do things at home instead.
@Rach it was surreal. Then her and the salon manager said they could cut the other side and then blend it into my length. Again, my hair was waist length. She cut one side into a bob. I accused them both of being insane or on drugs but most likely both. Even weirder, we had totally hit it off and had fun conversations so she wasn't retaliating for a presumed bad behavior but she did make a comment about how it's every hair dressers dream to cut really long hair.
@@angelmorningstarr9504 I don’t know what it is about long red hair, but people seem to be mesmerized by it. I had much the same thing happen to me. I didn’t have ringlets, just really shiny, long red hair. My stylist began giving me a short bowl cut, and I actually yelled STOP! The front three inches of my hair was cut cheek-length. 🤦🏼♀️💇🏼♀️I’d asked for a one inch trim to remove dead ends. Took me years to trust a stylist again.
I had that happen once. I was 10 and it was many many years before I realized my mother probably told her to do it.
That third video. Oh my goodness. Far to much bleach. No wonder it was falling out. I love Hair Buddhas reaction. Especially when he says, " what are you going to do ". His facial expressions get me. 🤣🤣🤣🇬🇧
I was once very focused while soldering and grabbed my soldering iron by the barrel with the other hand. I feel like that singer video may have been fake, but it gave me a great laugh remembering my past painful mistake.
It was definately fake. Not only was the straightener not straightening her hair after a few passes, she also didn't let go of the straightener when she started screaming because it was supposedly burning her hand. It's normal instinct to drop the item if it's hurting you.
Why on earth was that last girl trying to undo that glued style dry? Get in the shower, wet it thoroughly with warm water and give it a few minutes to soften up and then wash it out. She was being dramatic.

Had one lady say to me "no it's not a chemical hair straightener in my hair" did a bleach hair strand test with only 3%...
It completely broke off within 30 minutes.
She apologized and thanked me for trusting my gut.
2 years later, she's a healthy blonde ❤️

About that leaf blower... Worked at a textile mill where a girl got her hair caught in a machine & it scalped her, partially. That's a safety thing, if you have long hair-PUT IT UP AT WORK!!!!! Find an amazing updo & USE IT.

All the girl needs to do with the bangs at 6:25 is to take another section of hair, behind what she's already cut, and cut it longer with HB's helpful cutting instructions. It will blend in because she's only cut a tiny section so far. Not sure what she actually did or how it turned out.

Everyone who wants to make a change to their hair like coloring NEEDS to do a test strip to see if you take well to the dye/bleach instead of doing it, finding out you’re allergic and then a trip to the hospital. Also to see how well your hair will take to it.

I actually felt bad for the girl who got her hair stuck in the leaf blower. I saw a news video about a woman who was leaning under the hood of her running car to check something and her hair got caught in a belt and LITERALLY ripped her scalp and a portion of her face off. So scary.

That brand of the copper... It is a special for dark hair and you use a 30 Vol. I did the Violet version from that brand. Over several months that color has hung on like Atlas to the globe. It has been through 4 bleach baths and IT is still there (at least some of it) It is some seriously powerful dye.
Hair Buddha, you have such a talent for finding the right style to flatter each person--you even made our orange President look good! How about creating an app to let us try on styles you suggest for face shape, hair type, etc? I'd snap up that subscription in a heartbeat! :-)
I love to see the creative work that hairdressing and barbers can do it's good for the industry, but when I see a fellow professional destroy someone's hair it does the industry no favours and scares people off using a salon, that barber that sat down and managed to cut that child's hair is what clients don't get to see and it's a shame

I’ve seen it happen when hair literally fries like hers. In a salon I worked in as a junior in the 80’s. The boss did cap highlights and put it under a hood dryer!! When I went to take of the plastic cap it was steaming. I got the boss and she said get it off now. It all came off into the sink. All the highlights broke off. Nightmare. I had to give it to my friend to put in her pocket so the client didn’t see 😮😮

When I was in 4th or 5th grade school buses had metal fans blowing on the windshield (defrosting). As I was getting off the bus my ponytail was caught and I was yanked back up 2 stairs. Yes I was screaming and crying, hurt really bad. Shortly afterwards I got a "Dorothy Hamill" haircut!
The woman at 0:42 - 1:00 with the bad bleach job at the salon…. WOW!! I hope that salon becomes worst rated in their area. They did her so dirty! I wonder how terrible it was in the end with so much hair loss. Or, they needed to be honest with her like Hair Buddha always advises us and just tell her she cannot achieve that colour blonde in 1 day.

The last one - I was wondering why she didn't went to a shower, instead breaking her hair and hurting the skin. Oh, and it seems it must have been really boring party... Normally when I put so much effort into looking good I'm coming back home when the sun is already rise and shine, throw my shoes and dress off and fall asleep. My hair and makeup is a future me problem
Some of us will go the extra mile. I don't care how much I've been partying. If I go out and come back crawling, I will still brush my teeth, take my makeup off, and take a shower. Nothing beats a clean-in-bed feel.

The haircuts that these ladies gave to themselves reminds me of giving myself some bangs when I was 9 and catching my daughter with scissors (albeit, too late) at 5!!!! She decided to cut straight into her hair, parallel to her part, right to the scalp. Fun times trying to hide it when it grew out. LoL!! You will never leave scissors within their reach again.

I think it would be interesting if once in a while you did shows on Hair in History...like Egyptians or Natives or styles throughout History and utensils used to create them. After seeing the folks who NEVER washed or cut their hair....it is truly baffling as to Why one would neglect their grooming...even birds and dogs and cats are better at grooming...lol.

My son has autism and when he was two the barber used broken clippers on his hair cut his neck he was bleeding crying snot and tears everywhere he finished the hair cut my son was traumatized I have had to learn to cut hair and I've been doing it ever since and even though I have never hurt him it's takes days to gently convince him to let me do it he's 12 now and still remembers 😢

I have wavey/curly hair and would like to do a buzz cut, but am concerned that my baby hair around the hairline will grow back differently afterwards. Perhaps they'll be less short or change texture? Anyone with experience on this?
The woman in the salon with the melted hair.. that was me once. At the salon.. they even charged me the whole thing, I refused to pay with my balding, chemically burned head and they called the cops in order for me to pay. Guess what.. I had to pay.
