I was almost 4 years old living in East Keansburg, New Jersey attending preschool at New Monmouth Elementary in Middletown. The New York Mets won the World Series a few weeks later. The openings to News 4 New York as well as the remix premiered Jan 5, 1987.
As someone who was a TD for along time (Technical Director for a news station, the guy who sat in the room with a crap load of tv's in front of a console controlling the video live, a live editor) it's interesting. Neat to look at a slice of life from the past. Best thing about UA-cam.
