I just bought a 96 walker mtghs. Just put a new engine in. Has brand new tires. Newer blower box and tub. Alot of new part pulleys springs belts. I plan to have it along time. Right now I have 25 accounts and growing weekly. Ar first I felt I was just dumping money into something not worth it. But all mtghs are the same so for the price I paid for it and once in done replacing shit I'll have a 12k machine for 4k. Some say I'm crazy. Mybe if I had 200 accounts but I dnt this will get me bye till I can finance or it makes sence to get a brand new walker.
I probably would have ran this over with a discharge machine once or twice and used this to put the finishing touch on the yard. Easy 150-200 dollar cut
Yours costs alot better then mine though!! Idk why but with 3 holes showing on a lawn like that I'd have to triple cut to get that result and I have brand new blades and did all the right adjustments
Jason Dow I hear you. It’s one of those moments that you know you should run, but take the challenge and quickly regret it. It actually worked out this time no break down took time expected and I still have the account to this day and is actually one of the easier lawns to mow no trimming and can dump on site.
Sheer pins for that? I have cut abandoned fields, with 1/2" saplings spread throughout with a walker (48" deck), and never broke a sheer pin (till I hit a hidden rock that is). But that is what that mower is used for at my dads place... reclaiming lawn from the wild. Then we go over the next day with the 52" deck.
Looks like shit. I would of side discharge first, then bagged. Makes it much easier. Rookies! Lol just kidding buddy, came out really good. Nice looking account. I do the same thing to avoid getting screwed. I'd say you did pretty well on pay. I don't know what your numbers are but for me if I'm making $1 per man, per minute while mowing, then it's profitable.
And there is Mr Randy..... always harassing me for no reason despite me always being completely serious on his videos as usual. Guy buys one Walker and a week later is a Walker professional. Even buys a $600 Walker banner.... A week isn't enough time to consider yourself a veteran sir.
Countryside Vlogs actually it’s funny you say that as I would prob side discharged then sucked it up with walker for a nicer end result but I only have 1 machine. I don’t have a mower for every day of the week like you high roller big shots
That turned out nice. Good job. Always hate mowing the really long ones that haven't been cut in a long time.

A big part of using the Walker is where to dispose of the grass. If you have to get rid of them yourself, that's a big deal!

I didn’t count but I would guess 10-12 times
That mower did a great job. Did you get a lot of clogging?
Did not clog once... keep in mind however I was taking 1/2 passes and going very slow
