So interesting, on stage at this point they were music MONSTERS, Bono all over the stage, etc., yet in interviews they seemed to still have that "what are we doing here?" type of vibe, like they were afraid of being found out and scolded for being naughty boys or something. Very endearing. Of course...this was even before JT and how that blew them into even more stratospheric circles...not to mention the whole 1990s insanity to follow....

I was in fourth, unaware of the album that was soon to be released and that would become my favorite. I Still Haven’t Found was the first song that caught my attention.

El estilo de percusión distintivo, casi militar de Mullen, se desarrolló a partir de su interpretación de ritmos marciales en bandas de música infantiles. Algunas de sus contribuciones más notables al catálogo de U2 incluyen "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "Pride (In the Name of Love)", "Where the Streets Have No Name", "Zoo Station", "Mysterious Ways" y "City of Blinding Lights."

Edge saying U2 were playing Wembley was making a statement - 'The Joshua Tree' was going to make U2 huge. Playing Wembley then was a big deal.

They had already played Wembley Arena on the Unforgettable Fire Tour. Waterboys played support . A great gig, I was there.

I remember finding Paula yates tattoo quite shocking at the time. It was sexy, but odd. Now it seems tame. We're clearly in the shit people
