- SPECIAL UPLOAD ALERT! I know I usually upload Sunday’s but I just had to get this out there.
I loved Henry Cavill's superman and especially loved Hans Zimmer's score for him, and I always felt that it was unfair so many people thought his superman was dark and brooding- when really I believe he never got the chance to really play the character in a story where the world demanded the light side of him. That said, I am a snyderverse fan (if you haven't picked up on that from the tracks on my channel) who is willing to embrace the future.
When I heard the news of David Corenswet being casted for the new Superman I was thrilled- my intuition is telling me that he's a good choice. I was in the shower yesterday morning when I heard this melody in my head, and it immediately felt like Superman to me. I always imagined the perfect Superman movie to lift me up, move me, and at it's most powerful moment, bring tears of joy to me. I wanna leave the theatre feeling blessed and inspired to be the best version of myself. That's what I wanted this music to feel like. It's been a real honor writing my own Superman Theme and I hope you enjoy my take on the character!

I love this theme, it gives the same hopeful tone that Superman represents and also and epic feeling that represents Superman‘s power. While I miss Cavil and don’t like how he was written then thrown aside because he could be the perfect Superman. But I’m excited for Cornswet to leave his mark on the character
I’m glad you picked up on that balance between his grace and his power. A superman movie and it’s theme needs to have both the light/hope but also the weight/gravity for us as an audience to take him seriously. It’s difficult but when done properly it can be completely moving ☺️ thanks for listening btw
You dont get it because you haven't read the comics , superman learned how to be the hero that became loved , he was never like that from the beginning

What comics, I've read tons of comics and I understand how music normally is used in adaptions, he is kind, he loves his people, the people of earth, he vies himself as human with the power to help. But also when he needs to he is the most powerful hero in the DC Universe. And typically projects tend to use music for epic moments, there is nothing wrong with that.
Dude. I can imagine this theme being transformed into different versions throughout the movie. Especially the first minute of this song. That could be the motif maybe. JAMES GUNN!!! GIVE GLADIUS A CALL!!! 😃

This is the best fan made Superman theme ever!! This is beautiful. It has a melody and a march and isn't just a series of notes rising up and down. There's a beat to this!!!!!

This really gives the vibe of Superman revealing himself to the people of the world for the first time. Great job man and I hope that David Corenswet does a good job as the Man of Steel like Henry Cavill and Christopher Reeve.
I can see it now :) that’s so awesome. At 0:58 I can see him pulling off this impossible feat to save a crowd of people, then at 1:33 everyone is in awe of what’s he just done. I hope Corenswet does a good job too!!
@@GladiusThemesI can see it, giant robots are attacking Metropolis, like in the Fleischer cartoons, and then we hear this theme as Superman reveals himself. 0:58 he starts battling the robots whilst simultaneously protecting people that are in the battle radius, getting them to safety.

It's good to see you put out something unique!! I always love your DBZ covers, but this video just proves that your talent extends into making your own musical content even more! A wonderful take on Superman a character that really has been painted as someone as dark and brooding as the Dark Knight for too long and this theme really makes it feel like he is the hope of Metropolis and the Earth proper.

this is amazing, imagine if the theme of Superman's legacy is similar to this, OMG. You have nailed it. I would like to see you do more unofficial themes for the whole justice league. since you did Superman, I say do Batman, then wonder woman, then Flash, then Aquaman, and I think James Gunn is adding Grenn Lantern to it so I say then do green lantern(Hal Jordan). u do this I put it in my youtube playlist. Keep up the amazing work.

I’ve listened to this countless times and have been humming it for weeks this actually the PERFECT Superman score. It feels like he’s rising above the darkness of modern heroes to become a symbol of kindness.

I'm sorry but I just don't hear it. It's a nice score but not for Superman in my humble opinion. But maybe I'm just spoiled by Hans Zimmer's Superman theme.
@@TKCPrime I respect that. It’s an impossible task to measure up against Zimmer, he is one of my biggest influences. His score for Man Of Steel might be his best work in my opinion. I tried to go in a different direction and do my best to steer away from being compared to Zimmer or Williams but it’s not easy following up some of best film composers 😅
@GladiusThemes If I may be bold enough to make a suggestion. Have a listen to Ryan Taubert's stuff. He's got some truly amazing tracks that might give you some inspiration for your next project. To be honest, I'm no musician, so don't be discouraged by my ramblings.

@@GladiusThemes Have someone make a petition to James Gun. I'll sign that right away. I'm not even joking. He loves fan stuff. Not saying you should create the score but have him make the composer use your theme as part of it. You'll probably get credit. And that could open door. Especially if you say they can get it for free. They can afford it, but, again, it's about opening doors.

@@GladiusThemes It’s a movie coming way too late, or too soon but I don’t think it was the right time. After Blue Beetle and Aquaman 2 would’ve been good. With a bigger ending, rebooting everything. There are a few things that shouldn’t be in this film, like CGI faces in the Speedforce or Zod for example, a bit too much humour, but it’s still pretty solid imo. Especially the running VFX that were way better than any other movie I've seen recently⚡
EDIT: Really didn't like the post credit scene ..! (I wanted ma man Eobard) 😅

Although I think I might have been a little more disappointed overall, but like you said with the humour- I just want the writers to take these characters seriously ya know? I feel like they only operate properly when you’re not constantly suspending your disbelief to compensate for the strange behaviour some of the characters in these superhero movies often exhibit. I WANT to buy into a world where people have insane powers but get taken out of it when the comedic component of the story feels forced 🥲
Easily your best work! This was fantastic! Now I feel that I'll be disappointed in whatever we do get for the film's soundtrack, (unless Zimmer composes it), that's how good this was! Keep up the excellent work!

I really don't understand the Snyder fans that make it their life's goal to beat down people who like the new direction of DC. Why can't they accept that people like other things?
I think there’s haters on both sides though, people who make it out like snyder’s DC didn’t have any heart in it. But yeah, people who can’t accept the future of DC, I can understand their concern especially WB dropping the ball so many times, but as someone who loves these characters I will always have hope for what they can be as they have so much potential to tap into 🙏

My friend, i have a sick feeling that the actual theme won't compare. This is what i had hoped Henry Cavill's theme could have been when his Superman became the man we know and love.

I never really liked Snyder's dark and gritty take on Supes, I always thought that Cavill was a perfect Superman though. Given the right script, he would've been a very close second to Christopher Reeve (My Superman). But David Corenswet will bring something to the table that's been missing from Superman as a whole lately. Hope. (Love the suit design btw)
I feel you! I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how it comes out, especially after watching Guardians of the galaxy 3, which I thought was great. Gave me more hope for James Gunn’s superman. So to avoid another Superman origin movie, which we don't need as general audiences know the story. Dying planet, kindly couple, yada yada yada. We skip all that and just a 2 minute opening montage of what superman is all about, saving people, working at the daily planet, struggling to have a "work" life balance, but staying fun and optimistic along the way. No brooding. And this music you have made with be the foundation of that opening montage, well done guy. I have listened to this 1000 times already

So very much melodic, whistable, upward and fresh. Congratulations on your work. I always like to hear fan made themes and yours is poignant on the right emotions...there's always room for improvement, though - maybe a change here and there in the notes or the instruments, but this is it. I like the idea that the main course of the song reminds me of someone taking flight.
