- A special mid-week upload :) I took it down re-uploaded this 2 hours after I originally posted it because I wasn't satisfied with the art so I redid it (for anyone who already saw it).
For those of you who have listened to my Superman: Legacy Unofficial Theme, I wanted to make something special to bring more to the story. The main theme I made is bold, triumphant, optimistic etc, but it only fits a certain tone of the Superman that I can imagine. I had to make a variant of that theme that spoke slower, softer, and had the hopeful, profound, moving characteristics of him too. Superman is an alien who grew up in Kansas, and he embodies all there is in the all-American hero, which the main theme exudes. But he's also out there, watching over earth, inspiring people to be the best version of themselves. I want to see a superman film that excites me but at the same time, is so moving that it gives me goosebumps and makes me cry tears of joy. And I do hope that James Gunn and the new team can achieve that, because that's the kind of story the most recognizable superhero in the entire world deserves.
I suggest after listening to this, to go and re-listen to the original theme I created. I feel like this version gives the original version of the theme more weight and sincerity.

This is absolutely beautiful man I really hope Superman Legacy Joins the Ranks of Man of Steel and Superman 78 as one of the bests superman movies of all time

I imagine him recharging in the sun and reminiscing about the good times before he realizes the hero he has to become to save all of humanity from utter destruction.

Tears of joy. Absolutely stunningly beautiful. I really hope these themes get their time in the light. I forget what the context was, or what comic book it was from, but this makes me think of the picture of Superman(or Clark- i dont remember) looking up admirably at Jesus Christ on the cross and thinking(or saying) " Now that's a true hero," -im paraphrasing, but im pretty sure he said something akin to that. This piece REALLY gave off those regal/devine/holy vibes of just how much hope and faith Superman has in humanity, showcasing that you do NOT need superspeed or superstrength to love. Which is our greatest strength...

After the announcement Gunn made about who would officially be composing the movie (John Murphy), and after hearing some of Murphy's best OSTs from his prior films, I can firmly say that this fan score is about as close as it comes to what the official theme will be like: that soft melody, the synth patterns, and the calm buildup to something great...
