I've always thought of Bizarro as a really scary and twisted superman (although I know in comic lore he's just a big misunderstood oaf). Just like with my Brainiac piece, I wanted it to be in the style of the Man Of Steel soundtrack, creating the hypothetical situation: if there were a Man Of Steel 2, which famous Superman villains would be in it and what would their themes be like. For the musicians out there, you'll notice I took the piece "What Are You Going To Do When You're Not Saving The World" and re-wrote it from Major to Minor to represent Bizarro's opposite nature. It still feels like Superman, but darker. Interestingly enough, that piece is not truly in a Major scale, with Flat 3rds and 7ths, so I took some creative liberties switching around the chords. And finally, I added my own extra section in Junkie XL/Zimmer style in the second half.

It's amazing that it still sounds like an original theme even when you put most of the notes in reverse or in different tunes

Interestingly, Lex's theme from BvS was just the Man of Steel piano chords inverted. This seems like a good progression of that idea!

This was incredible! I loved how you put the original man of steel notes but made them a little more distorted and confused. Almost like bizzaro thinking he's saving the city but he's actually here to destroy it
Thank you man! That’s a great description, I feel like you definitely got what I was going for :) In the 2nd half I hear it like he’s got all the power of superman but none of the grace or care, and he’s like, flying through buildings without any conscience 😅 and thank you again for the suggestion!

Someone like you cannot exist in a different universe at the exact same timeframe unless that universe is exactly the same as this universe.
Man of Steel 2 could not have happened in any other universe.
For it to have happened, the cause must be different, and it's cause and all the prior causes upto the point of the Big Bang must be different too.
This is such a great concept, I love it! Sounds so menacing. I can picture Bizarro with this theme playing in the background. What a great job you have done!

Man, I didn't study music, neither i am a guru of it but, of course, besides enjoying music, I like to watch analysis of themes and pieces of music.
Almost always music is targeted for an audience to enjoy it, it isn't normally targeted for other musician's to admire and understand it. Still, a compositor's job is to make the music as enjoyable and descriptive( of what is happening on scene) as possible, to make understand the audience that "this" is what the composition is telling you about the scene or the character, and that requires a big talent. Now, for you to make this as anti-Superman as possible says a lot about you.

It’s my dream to become a composer for films/tv one day, and I totally get what you’re saying and agree. It’s also important for a composer to show what is not being shown in screen through the expression of the music, what isn’t immediately obvious. I’ve had a taste of working on a few short films and I’ve loved every second of it, it’s exploded my mind in what’s creatively possible, I have so much to say on the matter. I’m glad you like this piece, it took me a while to figure out how to make it work but then I realised I didn’t have to change much about the original, I just had to flip the mood from major to minor in some parts and the rest was fun to work out. Thank you again, I will! ☺️
