Sorry Esi I don't have plans to do a tutorial on this set at the moment. All cutters are used in the same way, flower paste for cutting out the designs and smaller pieces can be embossed and painted.
i have tried emboss the cake with grapes and vines set - the smaller design. the cake was about 24h in the fridge and then i cover it with fondant (about 4 mm thick) with no problem. before i started emboss the cake, i tested it on fondant leftovers and design worked great. but when i emboss the cake, the design did not emboss well and when i pushed bit harder on embosser it cut fondant trough with outlines and the design in the middle was barely visible. i think it happened because the cake was very soft. is there any tip how to avoid that?
If the cake is very soft it would be best to freeze it before covering with fondant and emboss it straight away. As it defrosts it will appear to be a little wet but that soon dries out.
The edible shimmer really made the embossing stand out! Love the 4 tier cake.
Beautiful! Such a simple and ingenious idea! Thanks again.
