Looking good mate! One tip if you get a toolbox is to put some pallet racking over it. If you get the proper orange and blue stuff it’s so much sturdier than that flimsy shelving and you can make the most of your unit’s height.
Reinforce them shelves before they droop. I’ve got them and waited too long to reinforce and flipped the boards and screwed it down to get rid of the droop but there is still a bump now and everything falls 😂

Make the floor quartz it looks so much better thank the floors you’re using and it will pull everything together
Good for you. I used to work at Varkers, and would see you over the years doing your cars on the drive. I also remember when you got a bollocking off the old git in the shop for pushing the newspaper through the letterbox 😂🤣😂

next time prime bare blocks with mixture of PVA glue and water mixed together, it seals the blocks and stops them sucking the paint up....

I put them floor down for a living and you need a primer first but don't put it down where you're driving the car in and out without quarts sand as in the winter when it rains your car will not stop on it without it.

I don’t know what your going for but I use my unit as an open plan office desk in the corner plus car garage with my cars parked inside with the colour ‘rubber garage floor tiles’ through out giving it a homely feel and hex lighting up top with TV on the wall sofa etc
You know what would be sick, building a loft/storage area above the bathroom, open up the kitchen and take out the current storage room.
I'm guessing you've not seen the reveal haha :) That's pretty much my plan

Personally I would stop the resin floor just finishing what you’ve done it’s sort of a walk way .
Sealed floors in a garage are a nuisance .

The flooring resin paint is awful for footprints , we used the same brand and colour in work (a machine shop) and the whole floor is painted it shows any type of dirt and is mega expensive for multiple coats , I’d use the plastic tiles you see in “detailer” garages like the auto finesse garage , anyway looks class well done keep it up

Keep the resin part you already have as resin and just do another coat, then the rest of the garage put a proper garage tiled floor down, plenty of companies out there you could collaborate with?

I bought it from a mate :) You can get them online for about £250! It's from a company called subcold
For the epoxy resin, should've just poured it out in puddles, and then used some sort of squeegee or something like that, and moved it all around, would've been much better layering and easier. I think it's similar to what the guys is US do when they do driveways with that black tar-looking resin..
This is a different type of resin that needs to be applied with a brush

Why not just use some high traffic nonslip concrete paint?! Cost you maybe $200-$400 for the whole shop.

The paint work you’ve done looks quality I like it BUT the paint you have used is wrong. Walls & ceiling paint on woodwork won’t last and masonry paint on internal walls is a no go as well due to fumes and smell etc.
I’m aware it’s your unit and you’ll get scuff marks etc all over it’s just more of a heads up for next time.
