Hey fun fact, the bruce trail is gonna get shelters like the AT has by 2030 to become thru hikeable. If you want an easy fast hike that would probably be the way to go
Great video. As a newbie who has zero knowledge of camping but who is interested to go camping and who lives close to Bruce trail, I find your video very interesting and helpful.
A big thank you Kashar - I appreciate you watching!
Hey, Thanks for the video and your honesty. Rock'on
Thanks Carl - appreciate it.
Kudos for the attempt bro. You made amazing progress. Would love to see you make some other backpacking content :)
Thanks a lot Zechariah and I appreciate you checking out the video! Thanks for the suggestion on making more backpacking videos too.
What three cities did you use for your through hike , im starting at queenston july 3rd pretty stoked
Hi Yee, I went through Thorold, Hamilton and Dundas. Hope you have a fantastic hike!
Can you point out the water station at 16:30 / provide coordinates for other water stations. Thanks* for the great video!
Thanks for watching Phil! I can't remember the coordinates for the water station at 16:30 however I came across two or three other water stations as I hiked through Hamilton which were right on the Bruce Trail. One of the water stations was at the bottom of the Chedoke stairs. @@JDubs560 Amazing! Thankyou. You have inspired me to document my journey on UA-cam! Coming soon!
@@pw11299 Awesome Phil, looking forward to watching it!
Hi Jordan, I really admire you on even thinking to attempt unsupported FKT for 900kms. I am planning to attempt supported FKT in 2nd week of May if you are available by any chance let me know. I will also support you if you are planning to attempt next time.
Hi Elias, thanks for your message and sorry for the late reply. I'd be happy to support you during your FKT attempt. I've just started following you on Instagram, if you wanted to follow me back so that we can send direct messages.
Great video. You don't really talk much about how you stay the nights. Are you stealth camping? I want to do it, but people are very reluctant to share any tips and secrets. Not asking for locations... Unless the camp locations are legal and authorized. I know of one camp near the southern terminus. And one that's in Hamilton. Any tips you'd be willing to share for a newbie to stealth camping on this trail?
Thanks for your kind words Rose and for watching. I'd be happy to answer your questions. I'm on Instagram as @jordanwickett if you wanted to send me a direct message there.
How much does your pack weigh?
Hey! It weighed between 30 - 40 lbs depending on how much food and water I was carrying.
