Karthus main here, I just wanted to correct them and say that Karthus' ult applies the burning ground from malignance to all the enemies it hits even tho in the video he said it only procs on one person.
Came here looking to see if someone corrected the obvious mistake. They probably didn't play against a Karthus since Malignance's release, since it's super obvious when you actually play against one lol

Through testing this is correct most of the time. Pools don't overlap though so if enemies are to close only one of them spawn the ground damage

11:46 my dude aphelios got 15 fucking chakrams around him and he places a turret instead of autoing smolder once for 75% of his hp

his white gun Q does that. you can see the animation where he like springs up and rotates a bit, right before dying
he could have auto'd like 3 times with chakram and each would have been doing like 70% of the smolder's hp

Late game take absolute focus and gathering storm, you will one-shot enemy adcs with IE, PD, collector, and wild arrows into squishy comps, swap arrows for ldr in tanks comps.
@@lWlKingofSpadeslWl You don’t need to go PD. The build is Collector then IE then Wild Arrows/LDR (basically switch them around depending on whether u need tank shred first) and then build RFC which will give u even more range and one shot potential and you can build blood thirster last for more ad and lifesteal. Basically becoming unkillable late game while being able to one shot even bruisers

I think Essence reaver doesn't need a bigger amount of AD, it just needs a reduced cost and a better buildpath with some kind of mana-items in it. If you're really a mana-hungry champ, it is really strange to struggle through all that until you find 3300 gold and THEN fix the issue in one go. Especially since most mana-issues are more prominent earlier in the game. The buildpath of this item just doesn't serve the purpose of the legendary itself.

What do you mean at 6:13 when talking about Malignance? Karthus' ult spawns AOE and reduces MR to every champion hit by it. Sounds wrong or I understand it wrong.

Man skillcap has so much information. I never tried there pay guide but I could tell if I did it would boost my potential skill but down side is that I always auto play my games which is horrible. But with these little videos someone like me can learn so much faster. About fundamentals and mechanics of the game.
All information is free. There's no reason to pay for anything. Watch the best players gameplay, watch and learn, and then try implement that to your own gameplay. Just like everything in life, it takes a lot of time and practise to get good at something.
@@EtSlagFisse exactly. So many resources to get better. But I auto play my games just because I get either better enemy team work.
While my team is auto playing or just playing to mess around, but I can't really say that because I also sometimes get the best team ever and it is crazy how it works.
@@SaeJoeBackBabythis may not be what you want to hear, but I’ll just be honest/upfront. Your issue is not a lack of knowledge, it is your mentality.
You are probably thinking that I have no idea anything about you, but all I needed to see was your explanation of why you’re not improving.
you being on “auto-play” is, like you said, a big issue. But, the bigger issue is the fact that you (as well as 90% of players), will always find some way to blame and/or justify that they are not the reason why they have less then ideal results. They will say things like: my teammates fed/are terrible/etc. you need to understand that you have to first and foremost learn how to deal with “bad” teammates. Rather than saying (anything) to them in game, or doing things like spam pinging, you need to 100% IGNORE what they may or may not be doing, and figure out what it is that YOU need to do, in order to win the game. No matter what rank you are, you will always have teammates that suck (not every game, but for a lot of them). It’s inevitable.
So what do you do?
Focus on your plan, and thing you can control. Don’t worry about anyone other than yourself and maximizing your output/contribution to the teams success
Idk about ludens, but milignance has a target specific cool-down so karthus ult applies malignance to every target, not just one.
I've found great success with Blackfire Torch on Velkoz mid, I'm starting tear then rushing Blackfire with Arcangels/Lucidity Boots second and Liandrys third. 2 items + boots and runes means 80+ haste with a ton of sustained damage. Having a rush item that doesn't feel garbage is what he needed as Liandrys losing mana and haste messed his build up badly.
Why get tear and delay lost chapter? Don't get tear, it doesn't make sense on velkoz

Maybe I'm just a moron, but I'm not computing how a champ can drop 2 full tiers on the tierlist just because ghost is gutted.
Not Just ghost, on 14.9 sterak's rage has been nerfed and was Rush item for darius
All defensive itens were nerfed in 14.10
They don't mitigate a lot of damage RN
Darius was know for building itens like raduins and dead mans plate
Nerfing ghost actually hurts alot because in this patch darius Will be a sitting duck for adcs to poke as soon as they see darius out of ss
Fiora irelia riven and camille beeing bought back to S and Op tier doens't help at all the four horsewoman of top lane beeing strong as they have a lot of mobility and are insanely strong right now and The only one of The four that darius have a advantage is riven that doens't have True damage on her kit
Ghost and tenacity are so giga important on Darius. That along with some other 3rd party factors, it makes sense.
Things that counter Darius inherently are CC and kiting. Less tenacity means he has a lot less room to make mistakes. Couple that with how VERY weak ghost is + ADC items now have a lot of movement speed. All of a sudden you have a champion who can no longer reliably catch people and stack his passive and do his thing. Darius without flash/ghost doesn't function. Those 2 sums are integral to his identity. If he uses both of them in 1 fight he has almost zero presence while on CD. Camille in comparison is thriving because in an ADC meta she can reliably get on an ADC and lock them down no problem. When ADCs and CC are this strong it's harder for him to carry.
Darius doesnt work without ghost. Should be 3 tiers down

I have always struggled to know who can use burn builds and why it isn't viable on others.
I used to think tank heavy enemy comps was when I - as a midlane mage - would wanna go burn. Then I thought maybe burn builds are only good on champs with burn abilities in their kit. But I don't know the logic really well. Like why isn't doulbe burn viable on Lux, Karma, or Neeko mid.!?!?
i would say running shieldbow on yone is kinda bad, you get more out of going maw or just not buying it at all
Fiddle is getting new build as shadowfire torch first item so he might get better place next time also kindred are so good this patch and they are in A tier?

Erm legit question.. if the ap burn items are an extremely broken build for any apc...
Why are the top support picks melee engage champions instead of mage sp that can abuse both items (zyra, brand, annie etc.) ??
if theres more champs in "good" tier than "average" isn't "good" = "average" and average = BAD?
The way to balance Mages/Casters will be to nerf their Scaling Damage, while giving them more Utility options. AP Legendary Items should be game-changing gimmicks, for Example:
-Shurelyas, Redemption, Rylais, and Morellonomicon.
-And older items like Z'zrot Portal, Banner of Command, and Ohm Wrecker.
Mages should get more unique items that do weird/interesting things. They shouldn't be balanced around being a stat-stick and/or the AP version of an ADC. Mages should have the most unique items and abilities in the game.

One does a certain amount burn while giving you more AP based off people hit. The other giving you percent burn damage and more damage by staying in combat.
Because they stack billy Bob boy, you get double the burn mkay.

darius still feels overpowered in low elo. only because of extended trades at the beginning of the laning phase.

Try this vi build. Trinity, BC and Overlords bloodmail with runes PTA for squishes with triumph, haste, and coupdegrace with font of life and revatilze. I main her and this build is giving me the best time with her right now.

i mean, i find this weird too but she *does* procc Font of Life with her q easily and Revitalize buffs her shield... but if going resolve I would prefer Shield Bash and Conditioning tbh, seems like 20 armor/mr at almost all times or something like that

When you've been hard reliant on an attack speed steroid that's no longer there, of course your playstyle will be altered. They need buffs that undo their nerfs during Lethal tempo. Such a toxic rune that should never had been on the rift.

does sylas jg really deserve to be the weakest? i have a 65% winrate on it with around 50 games except i go AD so...
Tbh rn morde is rly strong in the jungle with the exception of the first few minutes: with the new item you can clear camps so fast that even a gold jg can consistantly put out about 80+farm farm to 10 minutes with a a few (2-3) gangs, a death or 2 and 2 objective compleated. It is a little weak early when it comes to fights but when you reach 3 items + boots you are a raid boss with farm and lvl of a top laner.

You’re telling me that ghost lasting for 12 seconds instead of 15 and having a longer CD was enough to bump Darius down 2 grades?
It went from 15 to 10 seconds no? Just by the numbers it is a huge nerf. Also dont forget the Micro nerfs people mentioned. Tenacity nerf, sterak and randuins nerfed. Thus adds up

Whats the justification for Vex being in the OP tier? She can't abuse Blackfire/Liandrys and her build wasn't really touched so she really flew by this patch with no changes at all but she doesn't feel OP.

Personaly i would put Syndra into A Tier. She has a solid WR and is pretty good into nearly every Matchup

For example her WR into Garen went up to 52% from 49% the last time I checked.
They added ability haste rune which is especially op for her. And black cleaver buff does address her uselessness vs tanks this szn. Riven high tier bc other picks lost with ability haste buffs where riven gained . She feels spiking at 2 and 3 items

how much has ghost been nerfed by?
ADC’s finally being able to fight on even terms with top and mid when super fed is not being ‘broken’. Prior to this patch I lost count of the number of times I couldn’t do anything vs mid top that were slightly ahead of my mid top (like 2-0-1 +15cs territory), even if I was 7-0 +40 cs or some dumb shit like that.
ADC is slightly overturned this patch, and the entire game needs a major fking rebalance with an overall damage nerf.
Why would you run Shieldbow 2nd on Yone baffles me. They not only removed the best rune for him, but completely screwed with his items. They are advocating for diversity in builds, which was possible on Yone/Yas before this patch, now even the supposed "ideal" build just sucks. Also Riot nerfing Yone into the ground after releasing two legendary skins for him is just nasty.
renata cant be in A tier when there are OP engage supp (the same for milio)

@@btvitek1671The reason Renata isn't higher is because she is difficult to use, unlike most supports above her in the tier. Also item changes and balance changes have benefited all these champions except Renata.
She can be incredibly strong with people who knows what she does which is about 1% of the league playerbase

I main yone and just use my normal runes plus conq, and just build the new wild arrows or whatever they are called, followed up by BORK and IE. I really want to build zephyr but as is tradition I either almost complete my build but the enemy already surrendered because its a steam roll on our side or our adc fed their Samira so hard you literally cant kill her.
How is brand not in the bot tier list with a higher pick rate right now than karthus and almost the same winrate.

As a toplane main i disagree with moving Darius down. He's still very strong especially with pta. I'd say he's A or S tier. Comparatively I'd move urgot out of OP. He's still strong, but he's not OP

As a Volibear main, I don’t know how I’m going to handle Irelias without Lethal Tempo. I’ve never lost to one before, because I would go AP/Tank hybrid with ignite. I would stomp them 10/0. Now I’ll have to workshop a new setup to stomp them.

You should only be able to build 1 of the burn items. Tanks can't build 2 bami items and fighters can't build 2 tiamat items. So it's crazy ap can build both of these busted burn items
You can build tiamat and sunfire, though. Just cause its a burn doesn't mean its the same thing.
But you can't build both items that build from bami's you have to pick one. And you can't build all the items that build from tiamat at the same time.

Pretty sure Blackfire Torch is a bait item that doesn't perform as well as you think. I've seen it lately and even tried it. I even played Brand midlane and built it first as it's supposed to (Riot added the item as a mana sustain item you'd build instead of other Lost Chapter items) and then I built Liandry, and it's insane how weak the burn from this item is compared to Liandry. Liandry outdamaged Blackfire's burn immediately after buying it second even against squishies
Backfire is cheaper early and can’t spike you sooner. Liandry giving you more burn damage 2nd probably because it’s percent based on health. More health everyone has later.
@@MrDT2012 This is why I mentioned I was against a squishy team. Seeing this I'd rather not buy Blackfire on brand until I have Liandy and Rilay and any other essential item. Considering the performance I felt while using it, it's not a core item, just a cherry on top
The burn also increases AP based on number of champions and large monsters burning. So the item does have a hard to measure benefit outside the burn damage you see on the item when you hover. But I believe the biggest impact will be the increased clear speed for junglers that can abuse it while clearing multiple camps at once (like Lillia and Karthus), so I agree that it's not that broken on mage mid laners outside the fact that you can again stack burn items like you could when Demonic Embrace was a thing
Darius feels really bad this patch with the nerf of ghost and removal of tenacity. He has no mobility so yea he's useless this patch
