Hi there everyone 😊"😊"😊""If anyone wants to see how i transform my images from colour to black and white, then check out my other videos on it. Thanks and happy editing ☺
Thanks Richard! Great to see and learn about the power of the masking tools 😀 One question… The water normally acts as a mirror but when looking to the horizon the water is very bright and the sky isn’t. Isn’t that unnatural? Or is that no problem in fine-art landscape photos? Thanks in advance for your comment 👍
Hi there, I understand your point. Must bear in mind that the sun had risen further to the right, and out of frame. It could be reflection glare on the surface of the water 😊. Thanks for pointing it out. Thanks for watching .
I do Photography for so long and it does have to take untill yesterday, somebody - You! - could explain how to do this. Of all of this UA-camrs out there, you are the real editing Master. I made kind of similar editings to some old Pics yesterday and it increased their Quality a lot. Thank you 🖖
How long was that exposure? You manage to keep the boat sharp. In the first image i see you blended the horizon, why didn't you do that in the final image?
Hi there, the exposure was 40 seconds and the sea was already calm. So the boat had very little movement. The video would be too long for me to blend in the horizon. Thanks for watching ☺️
I can see in the boat reflection that it gás lot of movement, so it os not a single photos. The boat os from a normal exposure that was included in the long One, but still i like tour edition
@@tubebarros hi there. it was a single photo. As i said before the sea was already calm as it is in a harbour. The boat moved just a bit as you can see in the top mast is blurry☺
Nicely demonstrated to how easy it can be although I still prefer the adjustment brush Never understood "fine art photography" ---- when does good photography and editing become "fine art", or when does "fine art" become (just) very good photography and editing ? 😇
With your very skilled use of the masks you achieve a remarkable result, but sadly ignore the fact that the scene is strongly backlit, as illustrated by the strong shadow from the mast of the boat, so I think you overdo it both with the placement of the added highlights and shadows and the severely darkened sky, sorry to say. Sometimes less is more. Best wishes. /Anders
@@RichardBrockwell-hr1so The video in this link is an example of a color picture, where the editing is off course softer than in BW images, but its a good illustration of what I mean. ua-cam.com/video/jqc1LBLVxjk/v-deo.htmlsi=9JLUdTa7uKK4V_Rl. Good luck with your photography and your videos. /Anders
Thanks for the clarification on the entire process. Will try today on a long exposure image. I will try an Orton Glow effect to see how that may impact upon the image. Will continue to watch your videos. Thanks!
VerY impressive, well done
Thank you and thanks for watching 😊

En esta edición partes de una imagen en b&n ¿la tomas directamente así? ¿la conviertes de color a b&n? ¿como? Gracias por tus videos. Un saludo.

Fantastic

A very good demonstration but it looks like you have a slight halo between the buildings and the sky, especially noticeable on the left.
Hi, thanks for noticing ☺️. Video would be very long if I had to edit very to perfection ☺️
Thanks for watching ☺️
The profile shown is color, yet its a B&W. When was it converted to B&W or monochrome?
I convert it in Photoshop. I have other videos showing the full process ☺️. Thanks for watching ☺️
