in the company of witches/crows away sound so cute. I also loved silent patient...then read the maidens (meh). The reformatory! So worth reading. I'm afraid you've got dragons looks fun as well. I also bought how to murder your employer, and while an employee didn't push that one, she did push "you'd look better as a ghost", which was on the same table. So yeah, we need someone that works at BN to let us know what the deal is! Great haul!
The Fury was good. It reads like someone telling you a very long interesting story that shocks you at the end but then again you knew it was coming. I will re-read one day❤ I almost bought home is where the bodies are for the exact same reason, but I put it down and walked away. Dang I should’ve bought. 😮
I had enjoyed The Maltese Falcon. Vera Wong is so fun. Such a cozy read. You have a lot of fun upcoming reads! The fury was a fun read but not as great as the silent patient in my opinion. It's really different. I haven't picked up Magnolia park yet, I will look forward to your review! I just bought the five broken blades a special edition that I just couldn't resist because it was soooo pretty. I listened to the audiobook of "Murder your employer" it was a fun time.
Neverending Story is better than the movie, and I grew up with the movie and still LOVE it. The movie only has basically the first half of the book, there’s a whole second part which is so much fun. It seems like a big book, but it’s a surprisingly quick read. Penguin just released a beautiful cloth bound 45th anniversary edition too. It’s just a lovely fantasy world to fall into for a while.
I love your shirt! Where did you get it? So many great picks from the library. Vera Wong was so fun and hilarious. The Reformatory was heartbreaking but so good. I am definitely looking forward to your thoughts on Magnolia Parks. Everything ive heard sounds so toxic 😂 I just finished the Familiar last night!! I dont understand the reviews of people that were bored, it was a rather fast paced book with alot going on, no middle of the book slump. Hopefully you enjoy it as well! I'm so torn on if I should pick up Five Broken Blades, so definitely looking forward to your opinion on that one whenever you get to it. Omg I've heard nothing but amazing things of the Silverblood Promise too! Its been on ny tbr forever, I swear I'll eventually get to it😂 Oh too funny, i just checked out I'm afraid you've got dragons. I can't wait to see the wrap-up! Thats so disappointing about Listen for the Lie, i was hoping it would be better than a 3 star. Im forever chasing that thriller high i got from reading Look Closer, Kill For Me Kill For You and Dark Matter. Oh man i hope Diavola is a good gothic, like you they tend to bore me so 😅 I literally bought the BN edition of Home is Where the Bodies Are because of the cover. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt omg amazing either. It did its job and kept me entertained while I read it. Average thriller for me. Same for Chasing the Boogeyman. It wasnt bad, but it didnt do anything that had me on the edge of my seat either. Definitely still recommend to read both.
Thank you! I got the shirt from 80sTees.com but be warned they have soooo many awesome shirts! 🤣 I posted the link in the video description. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the books you’ve read! I hope I enjoy them too! I’m so nervous I’m going to be disappointed by Home is Where the Bodies Are 😬 But it will live on my shelf forever regardless. 🤣 Happy reading!📚
Murder Your Employer is fantastic, but I recommend being in the mood for a satire rather than thriller/mystery. Have you seen 9 to 5 with Dolly Parton? Loosely similar vibes
@@VenusEscapesToRead it isn’t as vulgar as horrible bosses, but similar tone. It’s a great palate cleanse between heavy fantasy books or other emotional reads
We are the same age. You don’t know the pina colada song !? Yes you do. :) If you like piña coladas And gettin' caught in the rain If you're not into yoga If you have half a brain If you like making love at midnight In the dunes on the cape I'm the love that you've looked for Write to me and escape
I'm excited to see your thoughts on Vera, the Reformatory, and Magnolia Parks!
I plan to hopefully read them in June!🤞🏼
The Reformatory is awesome!!! It's one of my favorite all time books that I will forever remember. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it
Your funny Venus! I don’t read a lot of books but just listening to you makes me laugh and also calms my mind at the same time. Thanks for posting. 😁
🤣Thanks for watching! 😉

Or Horrible Bosses
It’s been years since I’ve watch 9 to 5 but you definitely had me at Horrible Bosses!! I love that movie!🤣
