Folks here is how Macon, Ga handled these lovely people. All the white folks, stayed home, just didn't go. Folks of color, showed up in LARGE numbers, lined the streets. Newsmedia, cops, all black. However, the crowd did not make a sound as they marched. Not a peep, that is important. Self control scares these folks as they have none. Only sound was the racists marching and yelling their slogans... At the end, everyone was respectful (most just left, in the other direction of the racists) but here is the caveat. After you do a march like that and want to hand out literature, you have to give to anyone who wants it. In our case, that was about 50 elderly black gentlemen saying they were quite interested. Not a single white person was there. Yep, lots of cops on hand, and as I said, all black. Know what, that was in the early 80's. they haven't been back. I have no idea if this is even possible nowadays, but it sure worked for us. Good luck Nashville and folks if you don't vote, there will be al ot more of this in the future.
