    More like his New York book than the last episode, Feininger demonstrates what a versatile photographer he was. 20 days, working from dawn til dusk. A great work ethic, and then the disappointment of rejection. But keep those "failure" projects, because with the passing of time they may find a new release like this work. Also look out for the world's largest spanner (wrench).

    I wonder what type of lens and camera this is? All of the objects seem monumental and compressed, yet there is still depth of field. I would say 10x8 plate with tilt-shift but the images don’t seem sharp enough, perhaps this is UA-cam. Fascinating work, even for its time so it’s hard to grasp why Life turned the essay down.

      I think he used a Rolleiflex with Kodak Super XX film (100 ASA) developed in Kodak D-76.

      Could try Holden Luntz gallery? But I'm really not sure. Have a good look on Google, probably your best bet.
