  • Join us as we explore the dramatic atmospheric contrasts of the hot gas giant WASP-43b, revealed by NASA's James Webb Space Telescope. Witness how its dayside blazes under clear skies and its nightside remains cloaked in darkness, with winds over 5,000 miles per hour reshaping our understanding of planetary science

280 Light Years distant. A 24 hour observation window, and readings every ten seconds, of that 24 hour period !! JWST can hold position and make incredible observations like this !! INCREDIBLE
Winds up to 5000 mph and temps that could melt metals, and rocks !! Science minds are exploding all over the scientific communities.

It's so an interesting and amazing our the Best Space Telescope since 2021 James Webb have been found new Planets like that WASP-43B where is Wheater Dynamics wow! Do that means there can be a life too? I've been interested of Rogue Planets, would you plz make a video about The Rogue Planets that are near of our Solar System? That would be great video! 😊❤

    Greetings NASA and SpaceX.
It was academic information about Planets in the deep space.
Would you explain James Webb Space Telescope's engineering data please? Who is analyzing JWST's engineering data?
    Thank you NASA.

I am confused by this video. Concerning the planet, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) observed, how can it determine weather conditions on both the night side and the day side of the planet? After all, JWST is light years away from the planet and so, that should only give it the opportunity to see one side of the planet, either the night side or the day side? It would either be “in front” of the planet and see the light from its star shining on the planet (daytime) or “in back” of the planet only able to view its night side (nighttime)? From the JWST position which is basically stationary, since it only revolves around our planet and is looking at the object planet from one direction only, how did it get to the other side of this object planet to observe it?

Sorry but the 5,000 mph wind is a deal breaker for us.

How about you capture an actual picture of the earth with all the satellites and whatnot in orbit?
Why can’t you provide a non cgi, actual picture of that?

Pointing the delicate telescope at a bright object such as earth would fry the instruments
