Yes. However I think this apply only to TSI engines. DSG with TDI is a bit slow. Could work better

2.0 TDI DSG 4x4 + remap = 220 HP + 455 Nm. Enough for me ;)
How much faster is the car now after your re-map?
@@danieleitalino5544 didn't really measure any acceleration times. For Octavia RS 2.0 TDI 184 HP the remap resulted in 1 second quicker acceleration time 0-100 and 7 seconds 0-200
@@danieleitalino5544 I would say if you mostly drive around town, do not spend money for a remap. If you travel around the country, you will be happy with additional 60 Nm of torque. This makes overtaking much easier and the overall feel of the car is really great.
That's quite a lot of power for a 2l diesel, great engine. But it will never be as nice to drive as a petrol car

If I would not care about consumption I would take TSI. Unfortunatelly, as long as I do 30k+ kilometers per year I will always take diesel... What else can I say

don't you have the feeling that all the 2.0 tdi engines works a way better in Passat or Superb with previous 6-DSG? This 7g-DSG seems to be less responsive.

@Javier L I have 7G- DSG on my Tiguan 220hp. And is wet.
@@iurieduca8790 I think VAG produced their 7-g DSG in versions adjusted to the maximum torq generated by engine. Therefore some of them are wet- and some with dry clutch. But I can be mistaken
@Javier L the dry clutch version can only handle 250 NM max. This is the DQ381. Wet clutch.

Note that 2.0tfsi has only 6 dsg gears and has front-wheel drive. 2.0tdi has a drive 4x4 which is very heavy on her and has 7 gears dsg. I choose the power of tdi. :)

How is it handling the power? I have a 2.0 tdi 2011 superb with dsg, sent from 170 hp and 350 nm to 225 and 410 nm can't even compare it to original
this 2.0 tsi goes nice and the consumption, as far as I know is not so high. Good reason to consider buying TSI instead of diesel. Especially that diesel is mostly more expensive then tsi
if you plan on having tsi with more than 100.000km on the clock prepare to have always 1l of oil in the trunk lol
Yeah, petrol cars are cheaper, and also a lot cheaper to mantain. Spark plugs, injectors are cheap. Diesel injectors, EGR, DPF filter... everything costs a lot. If you are buying diesel it should be because you are doing at least 15k km per year.
@@dzenan.m planning on buying a 2023 superb 2.0 tdi 150 hp or 2.0 tsi 190 hp. I am worried about the tsi using oil, is that problem fixed? And also i am worried about the diesel getting dpf stuck ( i dont drive much)… what do u recommend?

What is the consumption of your car with this engine? Sharan seems to be a bit less aerodynamic then Superb.

its Perfect, 5,5 s 100km/h 0-200 17,3 s ;) car vithout DPF ;D No smoking. Much beter mailige svaped 15l ad blue tank and modyfied so i have 83 l diezel tank :D for 2000 km ;D if i drive normal 100-110 easy on the acelerator. car ways 1640 kg + me 130 kg 2m person :D muscular ;)
J am amazed no one done the swap as me and put it on the internet. J heard at least 8 of those dive in Poland including my car.

Yeap, especially by dynamic driving style the difference in consumtion is huge. However, this 2.0 tsi 220hp seems to be much more responsive. But this might be cause by different DSG software. My feeling is that the DSG with this particular 2.0 tsi motor is down-shifting much faster. In my TDI the DSG behave like giving the driver a second to re-consider if this "kick-down" is necessary...
6g DSG is better no matter which engine
I've the feeling that previous 6-G DSG has been working much better with TDI engines than actuall 7-G dsg... Suprising for me, those 7-G DSG works fine with all TSI versions, but with TDI... not really.

@@reviewblog7123 Ah yeah, right. Because I was ordering Superb in February and there was 4x4 available only for 2.0 tsi 272hp and 2.0 tdi 190hp. In previous Superb 3 Skoda was offering the 4x4 for almost all engine versions. Even 1.5 tsi was available with 4x4. Now only strongest versions of TDI and TSI...

Have heard that TSI engines are direct injection and they suffer alot from carbon build up...its sad because all brands volvo,ford,audi,vw etc. every new generation car is direct injection...
Half true. 2.0tsi engines are direct injection but from 2013 are equipped with secondary injectors which located in the intake manifold. Secondary injectors wash intake valves, so there will be no carbon buildup. Today most direct injection engines have secondary injectors.

You shouldn't red line. Engine loses torque.
It's DSG (automatic gear box). You do not have too much choice by kick-down when exactly the DSG will change the gear. However, I think the enginers knew best when the software should change the gear to maximalize the performance of the engine.

The build year of both cars in this video is 2018. At that time there was no TSI190hp version available. The closest competitor at that time for 2.0 tdi 190 hp version was 2.0 tsi 220hp engine. But yeah, if we take into consideration SUPERBs from 2019/2020 we should compare 2.0tdi / 2.0 tsi in 190 hp versions.

@@grzegorzgrzesiek9869 Nigdy nie było silnika 1.6 TSI, coś pomieszałeś. W Passacie B6 do 2010 roku było 1.6 ale FSI o mocy 116 KM bez turbo. Mógł to też być diesel 1.6 TDI o mocy 105 KM lub 120 KM, zależnie od generacji auta. Natomiast żadnego silnika o mocy 136 KM w Passacie po 2005 roku nie było na pewno, wcześniej nie wiem.
