bazelgeuse. A lot of people like him. he can go into any enviorment, has unique mechanincs and is 1 of the 3 dreaded ED level invader. And looking on how the other 2 get treated (rajang and deviljho) i think he will get a similar-ish treatment (since he isn't quite as popular as the other two)
He is just as popular as the two of them tbf. He made it 52 on the list of peoples favorite monsters with a fraction of the years jho and rajang has. And that list only considered people number one picks. As well as he was quite literally nerfed in rise and world with thw directors saying they didnt give him much turf wars and jho much more so that bazel wouldnt overshadow jho. And im sure many of Bazel's fans would have voted for nergigante who came second so there are things like that. Plus his theme is one of the best at least in the top ten
Yea bazel is going to make a great invader but if they need to be careful as if they introduce more invaders we might just get invader spammed and that's never fun, I'm looking at iceborn where you can be trying to do a more casual hunt in between the hard ones only to get non stop harassed by a rajang and a deviljho.... Considering wilds is probably gonna have more monsters at a time in a map this could turn into a unplayable nightmare if we get too many invaders

I argue that it's a failure, thanks to pulling over pushing. When you pull the sleep gas, then you simply have to wait for the already hard to his monster to move (much like the kush issue) compared to pushing that makes the area have areas of danger and the goal to dodge compared to just waiting.
Vaal Hazak _could_ be added, thing is, you don't add Vaal, you add BLACKVEIL Blackveil doesn't have Vaal's problem of being tailor made for the rotten vale, the regular one has adapted the efluvium into it's biology and it's covered by the husk of a dead creature, both of which are abundant in the rotten vale, but blackveil is specifically covered in fungus and spores, so it can actually fit in biomes other than the rotten veil, in fact when you fight him for the first time, it's in the ancient forest, so blackveil COULD appear in the scarlet forest in Wilds Also... *PLEASE USE THE GUARD THRUST YOU STILL BLOCK DURING THE CHARGE YOU ARE GIVING ME ANXIETY!*
Yes please they can do with Vaal hazak the same as valstrax, only adding their subspecies. I love Vaal hazak i think it’s a really cool elder dragon. On the guard thrust yes I was getting mad too
Definitely agree with the hope that Velkhana becomes a mainstay roster elder dragon. Frostcraft is just too much of a favorite skill of mine as a greatsword user for me to ever live without it again

@@wood5596 maps can return as well. Like the sandy plains or flooded forest in Rise or Forest & Hills in the first four generations. Maybe we will see the Rotten Vale again in a future game or explore a different section of it. It is even possible that there are multiple such Vales throughout the new world.
It might be unnecessary to say this, but in-lore, Nergi is FROM THE OLD WORLD. He was tracked to the New World by the first unit (if I remember correctly 😅). I ABSOLUTELY support Nergi becoming a sort of main stay
I'm in the small camp of those who'd rather have a completely new roster every entry, so I'm in different to any returning monsters. However... More crustaceans and bugs are always welcome. Those designs are my favorite.
I know it’s common for monsters to return from previous gens, like how Anjanath, Pukei-Pukei, & Bazelgeuse made their way into Rise from their introduction in World. But I hope if any have to come from rise to sixth generation we only get to see the best of the best. And not monsters like Magnamalo, that do basically everything in their power to be the exact opposite of what world tried doing with the bigger focus on ecology and monster behaviours outside of just combat. But by the looks of the trailers, numerous gameplay videos, and the fact that the game seems more inline with World than Rise. I’m optimistic they’ll make the right choice of what monsters and mechanics will be returning. I’m not a Rise hater or anything, I’ve completed both and had my fun with them. I just think World has a lot more to offer than Rise in the long run.
Yeah getcha. Magnamalo was very aesthetically cool and was very fun fight, But it was kinda just a killing machine… I mean there’s maybe some ecology but still. I think they’re definitely going the world route, Rey dau could actually be seen drinking water in the oasis. Plus you can actually encounter it outside the storm too! It’s not just a lightning storm spewing railgun dragon ya know? But we’ll see…
Personally, there’s a lot of monsters I hope to see return. But if I had to choose only a few, I’d love to see Gammoth, Namielle, Quoropeco, and Lagiacrus. The maps are bigger then ever in Wilds, meaning Gammoth isn’t locked out because of map size. Namielle is an amazing new elder dragon, provides a much needed endgame Water Monster and brings alot of unique skills like the combo of thunder+water attack up which would be useful in Wilds. Quoropeco hasn’t been seen since the third generation, and with the whole pack system it would be amazing to see him call an entire pack of monsters. And Lagiacrus is the obligatory everyone wants choice. But dang there’s a lot of things they could do this go around with an improved move set. Like I can imagine Lagiacrus being available in a pseudo-flooded map. Where he can swim around without a care and move faster then you can move normally, while you’re slowly walking through the water. Could help it out so much, and make the difference between it and it’s Ivory Subspecies much wider.

if bringing back Rise flagships there's one thing I'd like, it's for Magnamalo to be FINALLY properly Rajang tier, the angry kitty is lorewise supposed to be a hyper predator like Deviljho but his base game treats it as Rathalos level. Malzeno is one where it would be troublesome, I do believe you can cook something by bringing back Primordial but you wouldn't have the Qurio invasion added to it so it could get a bit lame. Or you bring back the normal, since it seems most of the species population is infected lorewise.
I feel the way you feel about Velkhana about Valstrax. Great armor skills that change the entire way you manage your health, unique but unintrusive weapon gimmick with the sharpness, great theme song, great fight, former flagship, can live anywhere, sweet design, and people like him. No Monster Hunter game would be worse for having Valstrax.

I can’t wait when they announce the expansion/addon for wilds. It’s not gonna be an ice/winter themed setting again I guess. (Which I personally always find boring) so it might be jungle, probably no extra sand and dunes.. so yea I guess shits gonna be hella interesting what setting we’ll be getting :D
I know the possibilities for it to return are low, but I hope that someday the namielle can come back. If they decide to add the underwater combat back, namielle, as the “Abyssal Dragon”, could really fit in, maybe in an hunt switching between underwater and outside water. Even if underwater combat is not included, the namielle could still be fought as in iceborne, being a cool looking water-thunder dragon, with cool looking armor and weapon.
I'm just getting in mhgu and I really love the najarala fight. I hope it makes a return and I feel like it fits the savanna vibe wilds has going for it
I hope we get more new monsters than returning ones. Leave the old monsters for the experimental "portable" titles. Also, I would LOVE to see another desert Apex than Diablos for the 14th time. Also also, give us more herbivore big monsters. These games are very carnivore biased, but most herbivores in our world are actually deadlier then their predators, so why can't it be the same in Monster Hunter. We already have 3 great examples in Diablos (kinda ironic I know), Duramboros and Gammoth. 2 returning flagships I would like to return are Brachydios and Seregios, not just because they're my favorites, but I fell they did kind dirty in 5th gens, specially with it's gear (ignoring Raging). P.S: Please give Seltas and Seltas Queen. They would so great in Wilds!

I really would love to see no flag ships, other then gamath, Come back into wilds. The only monster that should come back are monster that haven't gotten the 5th gen treatment.
3rd gen was weird, they wanted most monsters to be new. We'll see if 6th gen is anything like that or not, I'm guessing not or maybe yes for the base game of Wilds. Gravios, agnaktor, and zamtrios not being in Rise/Sunbreak was sad. We need a new crab, we haven't gotten one since MH2 in 2006 so it's been 18 years. Uragaan, one of hte most pointless monsters yet his subspecies that would have been a better replacement is more forgotten and less loved. it's Uragaan but he doesn't have the same element/status combo as gravios. Gammoth, they said why she was out in the 20th anniversary interviews. The only issue/reason she wasn't in 5th generation was her fitting in the size of typical zones. Wilds looks to have maps with a few much larger zones and a few much smaller ones so a snow may could fit her in 3 or 4 of the zones that she sticks to. Same goes for why akantor was in concept art for the elders recess in World but he didn't show up. That also means ukanlos would have made into iceborne, if the mad design was more accommodating for the 2 of them and gammoth. Pukei may not happen, simply because the hammer in the hammer video looks like gear from a poison bird. It's a skill on a stick, with a brain pulsing and a tiny beak. Wit hthe color of the brain though and the doctor/nerse look of the armor, it could be sleep instead with an anesthesia motif. 6:42 After all, aknosom is a replacement for kut ku in almost every way and just adds more. I would love to see both of them again, maybe taking turns but we'll see. More people liked somnocanth than you'd think, his subspeceis was mainly only hated becasue it took away things from the original monster. That said, the subspecies did add an attack with a unique interaction that Wilds seams to be squandering. Even if the code is already in the engine Wilds is using, just so they can remove IG's air game. Use what Aurora had to let attacks adjust and hit us in the air so IG is more risky but allowed to do damage for once. In Rise its flow was practically a clone of bow but hteir damage almost couldn't be further apart especially in World. Lunagaron is also in the jugle and shrine ruins so he's not just in ice maps but that's basically it... I guess legiana too since the coral highlands isn't cost but just windy.

Tbh only Vaal Hazak is really fundamentally tied to the rotten vale. Odogaron and Great Girros are just scavengers, which is why they went to the rotten vale, but nothing tells us they can’t exist outside of it.
That’s true but they’d need a environment similar that’s just as good for scavenging, which isnt impossible or anything but they’d probably want to do new things
tee-grex? People always say it's because it also comes from t-rex, but it honestly shares nothing in common with a T-rex design wise... but it is literally a tiger-like wyvern based on it's stripes and roars.
I've always said Tie-grex. I believe the way it's now said in Monster Hunter World is tee-grex. While I usually like to be proper and pronounce monster names "properly," I still say Tie-grex since I've always said it that way. And since I also feel more of that tiger influence than t-rex. Some argue that tee-grex IS putting emphasis on "tiger" since tiger in spanish is"tigre." Again, though, I still prefer my way of saying it, even if it has recently been disproven with the addition of voice acting
I may be wrong, but iirc Nergigante hunts elders in the new world because they're "easy" prey due to the migration over sea, otherwise he can just eat any other monster
Gammoth is definitely my selfish pick for Wilds. With the games' size, i think she'd be a great pick. I also just want to hear her theme remastered lol

@@thequasipancake4303 Sleep is pretty much all it has going for it. Easily one of the worst subspecies in Iceborne. Put on sleep resist and it's just... A regular paolumu. The other subspecies all have interesting and fun new attacks, this guy just puts you to sleep
Love the video. But i strongly disagree with your while philosophy. And while i dont blame you for it, much of your assumptions are alternative to the truth. Nergigante is a old world monster if ya believe it or not. Forgetting legiana is an ice monster eh? And it may seem like rotten vale monsters are locked to there biome. And maybe they are. But we decided that. Not lore. You never at all mentioned the philosophy of why eat game chooses its returning monster. Iceborne was about returning flagships. And the b-team has always favored a large base rosters and will often add as many base monsters possable. In addition adding the flagships iceborne couldn't. Now, when we look at wilds, they told us the piont of the game. Its ecology and herds. So from this we can assume that there will be a bias for anything with a pack. That along with monsters they have said regularly they want as a returning monster but couldn't. Like lagi. This thoery is so far held up by only one bit of info. Amd thats the congalala armor. Not proof and congla himself. But I'd like to think its conformed. Much of the monsters you mentioned were 5th gen. And there popularity holds strongly to being new and in the game that majority of people started the games on. A monster like anjanath doesn't actually bring anything new for example. What does mh wilds bring that anga couldn't do in world? Same with pekue. Whats new? Compare that with monsters that are older. They can often be prime for a rework. Some need it similar to yian garuga in iceborne. Or monsters that have a pack but old gens failed to make complex. Like blongalonga. Then there is a monster like gammath that is wanted but, but presumably hasn't returned thanks to its size. But in wilds we have seen how wide the areas are. In addition we could see it with a pack of popo. I hope you dont see my comment as argumentative. I liked your video but as stated before, disagree with the philosophy. I feel it changes with context involded.
Jiva was still imperfect it didn’t have perfect control of energy and was still collecting. I think it’s safe to say it has another form. Imagining it more mobile and destructive with a grace as it cuts through the air. I hope It returns badder than ever faster stronger with more energy because all the life in the forbidden lands is just that. Sorry I’m excited Also Shara Ishvalda I think would be perfect for the setting as well I hope the big Dragons have more ferocity to them utilizing their wings more or however they traverse taking to the air sending raids or even disrupt habitats for their duration imagine going on a hunt and see A giant plume of smoke off in the distance and get there to a forest burned down smoldering. Wildlife clearing in a panic towards you wait isn’t there a swarming mechanic now?

2 returning flagships I would like to return are Brachydios and Seregios, not just because they're my favorites, but I fell they did kind dirty in 5th gens, specially with it's gear (ignoring Raging).

Rajang, there is no other fight quite like fighting him. Literally have to change your entire fighting style in melee when throwing hands with him.

3rd gen was weird, they wanted most monsters to be new. We'll see if 6th gen is anything like that or not, I'm guessing not or maybe yes for the base game of Wilds.
Gravios, agnaktor, and zamtrios not being in Rise/Sunbreak was sad.
We need a new crab, we haven't gotten one since MH2 in 2006 so it's been 18 years.
Uragaan, one of hte most pointless monsters yet his subspecies that would have been a better replacement is more forgotten and less loved. it's Uragaan but he doesn't have the same element/status combo as gravios.
Gammoth, they said why she was out in the 20th anniversary interviews. The only issue/reason she wasn't in 5th generation was her fitting in the size of typical zones. Wilds looks to have maps with a few much larger zones and a few much smaller ones so a snow may could fit her in 3 or 4 of the zones that she sticks to. Same goes for why akantor was in concept art for the elders recess in World but he didn't show up. That also means ukanlos would have made into iceborne, if the mad design was more accommodating for the 2 of them and gammoth.
Pukei may not happen, simply because the hammer in the hammer video looks like gear from a poison bird. It's a skill on a stick, with a brain pulsing and a tiny beak. Wit hthe color of the brain though and the doctor/nerse look of the armor, it could be sleep instead with an anesthesia motif.

More people liked somnocanth than you'd think, his subspeceis was mainly only hated becasue it took away things from the original monster. That said, the subspecies did add an attack with a unique interaction that Wilds seams to be squandering. Even if the code is already in the engine Wilds is using, just so they can remove IG's air game. Use what Aurora had to let attacks adjust and hit us in the air so IG is more risky but allowed to do damage for once. In Rise its flow was practically a clone of bow but hteir damage almost couldn't be further apart especially in World.
Lunagaron is also in the jugle and shrine ruins so he's not just in ice maps but that's basically it... I guess legiana too since the coral highlands isn't cost but just windy.

Tbh only Vaal Hazak is really fundamentally tied to the rotten vale. Odogaron and Great Girros are just scavengers, which is why they went to the rotten vale, but nothing tells us they can’t exist outside of it.

tee-grex? People always say it's because it also comes from t-rex, but it honestly shares nothing in common with a T-rex design wise... but it is literally a tiger-like wyvern based on it's stripes and roars.

I've always said Tie-grex. I believe the way it's now said in Monster Hunter World is tee-grex. While I usually like to be proper and pronounce monster names "properly," I still say Tie-grex since I've always said it that way. And since I also feel more of that tiger influence than t-rex. Some argue that tee-grex IS putting emphasis on "tiger" since tiger in spanish is"tigre." Again, though, I still prefer my way of saying it, even if it has recently been disproven with the addition of voice acting

Put on sleep resist and it's just... A regular paolumu. The other subspecies all have interesting and fun new attacks, this guy just puts you to sleep

Nergigante is a old world monster if ya believe it or not. Forgetting legiana is an ice monster eh? And it may seem like rotten vale monsters are locked to there biome. And maybe they are. But we decided that. Not lore.
You never at all mentioned the philosophy of why eat game chooses its returning monster. Iceborne was about returning flagships. And the b-team has always favored a large base rosters and will often add as many base monsters possable. In addition adding the flagships iceborne couldn't.
Now, when we look at wilds, they told us the piont of the game. Its ecology and herds. So from this we can assume that there will be a bias for anything with a pack. That along with monsters they have said regularly they want as a returning monster but couldn't. Like lagi. This thoery is so far held up by only one bit of info. Amd thats the congalala armor. Not proof and congla himself. But I'd like to think its conformed.
Much of the monsters you mentioned were 5th gen. And there popularity holds strongly to being new and in the game that majority of people started the games on. A monster like anjanath doesn't actually bring anything new for example. What does mh wilds bring that anga couldn't do in world? Same with pekue. Whats new?
Compare that with monsters that are older. They can often be prime for a rework. Some need it similar to yian garuga in iceborne. Or monsters that have a pack but old gens failed to make complex. Like blongalonga. Then there is a monster like gammath that is wanted but, but presumably hasn't returned thanks to its size. But in wilds we have seen how wide the areas are. In addition we could see it with a pack of popo.

Jiva was still imperfect it didn’t have perfect control of energy and was still collecting. I think it’s safe to say it has another form. Imagining it more mobile and destructive with a grace as it cuts through the air. I hope It returns badder than ever faster stronger with more energy because all the life in the forbidden lands is just that. Rathian has to stay as ome of the "core", upper level tutorial wyverns. Zinogre though has become tiresome.
