Me personally, I'd like to see monoblos to come back. It'd be neat for them to differentiate it from Diablos by making it a master of land and sky, diving underground from the skies in a single motion, and then bursting out of the ground back into the air. It'd make him scary as hell.

If water combat isn't in a game I would much rather have Ivory Lagiacrus over base species Lagiacrus. It is part of the lore that base species can not create electric spheres on land while Ivory can. I also like the idea of non base species returning without the base species, it feels more real, it makes monster ranges seem to be an actual thing.
They probaly will fuse ivory and normal one, he already give the dev a loot of problems alone, so if he apears he will be way better that the old one, and probaly on land

The monster’s I fancy coming Back are: Gammoth. Najarala Lagiacrus Nibesnarf Monooblos Tesucabra Hypnocatres Quropeco And bazelgeuse. I want these particular monsters because they have been forgotten or really fit with wilds look and maps.
A Ceadeus encounter where you venture out into the coastal region of the map and as you step deeper in you get stunned by a quake would be a great way to build intrigue from new players and a good call back for older players

maybe thers non in thew area like thers uroktor but no agnaktor or Jagras but no great jagras the lore itself says that the Greats are not allways developet in an area with to much predation or not enough food to sustain a great the jaggi can already mate and reproduce when still jaggi so can Baggi ,Wroggi and Girros they dont need to turn into an Great to do so so ther can be entire populations who never develope a great at all

When you mention lagi, I think that realistically they're gonna make him more like his subspecies again if they bring him back. It is unlikely we get underwater combat unless there is an area with a lot of water that they just refuse to show us, but I still see lagi having a possibility at making it in. I know a lot of people have theorized that this is meant to be a game inspired by Africa, and I know that Lagi would certainly fit for a crocodile monster. There is also a fair bit of speculation that we will see the return of snake wyverns in this title as well, and given they would likely have the same technical issue as lagi, but worse, if snake wyverns do see a return, then there is a high likelihood we will see Lagi as well.
I desire Wulgs, also, Malfestio. My enthusiasm didn't hold when I got GU but came back with World, and so, I missed fighting the owl, but I would love to see something like that in Wilds.
Valstrax, I know it was back in rise and other monsters should get the spotlight again, but good God imagine a chase across an expansive dune as you dodge and weave through its bombardment on your mount. I also love Valstrax.
One monster that must come in go bench Tigrex MUST be Gurenzeburu (Glensebull). Despite being a Dia-Monoblos type monster his arena type battle as well as in how he's a defender monster in the environment could add tons of ecology content, specially on the World "investigation clues" you see in the map such as footprints, old scales, you get me here.
They could take the "Gurenzeburu travels around herds of Erupe and Berukku, providing protection to them" and apply it to Monoblos with the lightning rod herbivores, taking some aspects from Gammoth and Popo's relationship
Solid takes all around because these are literally all the monsters I have been telling my friends I I want in. The only other one I want that you didn’t mention is the Gobul. I think they could do something really cool by giving it some elemental variants. Like a magma gobul or making him like a landmine nibblesnarf
Seeing as this game has a desert area more reminiscent (to me) to the arena where you fight ahtal ka if that’s how you spell that I think it would be a amazing fight to bring back
When it comes to frontier monsters. Just add Taikun Zamuza, Rukodiora and Rebidiora, Akura Vashimu, Varusaburosu, and an absolute must should be Shantien!
My theory about Wilds is Dragons Dogma 2 being released this year will serve as a playtest for Wilds and I think Wilds will share a lot with DD2. NPC hunting companions, the ability to climb monsters and terrain, custom move sets for the weapons. All of it. Because the two games release a year apart from each other and have 2 of the same people working on them. Plus, DD2 and MH aren't all that different.
I love videos like these. Aside from the usual suspects, I’d love for more insects, especially a revamped version of the vespoid queen. Giggi is sorely missed, as is lagiacrus and quru. In terms of frontier monsters, pokaradon fits right in. I also strongly believe that “subspecies” should be able to make an appearance without their main species, so tigerstripe zamtrios would be insane.
Najarala is the first monster i thought of during the wilds reveal. Both the environment and logo just scream najarala. Also think dalamadur has an ok chance at being in with his corspe beeing seen in world. Personally i really want harudomerugu to be in wilds as a late game monster, never got to fight him but the idea of a liquid metal dragon is really cool
I want to see more arthropod monsters like nerscylla and baelidae. Not just returning ones, but new ones too. My biggest gripe with World was that the majority of monsters were kinda samey, so I'd love to see more variety.
The main ones I want to come back are gigginox, kecha wacha, congalala, pokarodon, gogomoa and a shit ton of the Frontier or Online monsters. Also gobul, but that’s assuming water combat returns.
Wilds is probably in new world since that the hunter in the trailer has scout flies and his arm crossbow. Also that the map of what we see looks a lot like the guiding lands. The last thing is that those 2 huge half pipe like structures we see at the end of the trailer almost from a worm like structure wich mean that Dalamadaur can have a come back wich seems logic since that the dalamadaur fight was on the other site of the monster hunter continent of the new world but we know that full grown dalamadaur have made it in the new world before as in the rotten vale.
Harudomerugu. I just want him once in the main line series. He‘s so unbelievably creative with his element, looks SO good and feels like a distant cousin of Valstrax.
Barioth was such a wall for me when I first played MHGU, as my first proper monster hunter back in 2019, I’d love to see him be returned to actually feeling difficult, Rise neutered him so I definitely think he deserves a second chance in wilds, maybe even Sand Barioth too
The first monster I thought of coming back was Great Jaggi, mostly because of the amount of monsters that can be on screen at once. Great Izuchi had a cool pack tactics thing going on with its attacks, I feel like Great Jaggi can lean more into the idea it's mean to be the pack leader in the same way. OH ALSO. Toridcless I really really want in. But this is a bias of "I love when myths from my culture are designed as monsters in video games", and Toridcless as a Thunderbird representation is very cool to me.
imagine if Wilds has a Greater Jaggi, a colossal Jaggi that hunts with two Great Jaggi who each have their own two Jaggi (maybe a few Little Jaggi as well?)
i jsut love to see G-jaggi return cause of all the pack leaders the little jaggi where jsut so stupid and useless most of the time when the G-jaggi roared during a hunt all the small jaggi would jump suddenly in a cyrcle aroudn you squeeking and after making like 2 rounds they would try to body check you by throwing themself agaisnt you with a jump but oftne they would hit each other or you hit them and they then had a unique thign that they would flign away then lay there and stand back up when i first seen it happen i jsut feld sorry for the little guy and kinda embaressed for the G-jaggi xDD never really feld the same way for any of the other leaders G-girros had some unique stuff with the girros but the girros didnt had an unique thing when hit mid jump like the jggi had
Great izuchi, anknosom, tzitzi ya ku, and great maccao really need to come back, the entry birds need to be memorable and goofy, like kulu ya ku, i love velociprey and great jaggi but id rather have them come back if i could only bring a few id prefer the weird ones over basically big lizards. All of them would be great and then you could basically choose your route to rank up into higher tier monsters to lean into the open world aspect. Also malfestio cause we need more straight up birds in mon hun.
Honestly, I'd like a desert version of Tobi-Kadachi (a sub species) that generates heat instead of lightning especially during daytimes when deserts are quite hot due to sand able to store a large amount of heat (seriously, it's like stepping on microscopic coals from a fire kind of heat, to me at least) I do wonder what the name of this Tobi-Kadachi would be (hopefully keeping either Tobi or Kadachi to let us know on it's relation to the actual monster of course)
Honestly all World/Iceborne monsters should be able to come back since Wilds is graphically the same as World. They need to bring GenUlt level of monster quantity for Wilds.
if i were to make a regios variant, i would name it Sandstorm Seregios, it's attacks's range will be longer because he can weaponize the sand (like silverwind nargacuga, he uses the wind as a weapon too i think) and also he will have special moveset the normal regios didn't have
At some point in this game's lifeapan I would love to see Tartaronis from MHO make it's way into the main series, thematically works and with how open the world looks to be we'd have the perfect place to fight it

I could see many of the monsters you said enter MH Wilds, but since i really like dalamadur, i imagine like an "event". Like if the game is singleplayer, then when you have hunted an amount of monsters and/or you reach a rank/lv, then a dalamadur event triggers, like if there are npc they say something like "the rumbling has begun, it was fortold in the ancient text, that a monster the size of mountains, would rain terror down upon us" and a dalamadur would appear by burrowing up from the ground, or coming out of that mountain ring in the trailer. Then the dalamadur would move around the dessert and you would have to attack them. Then you would need to defeat them in time or else you fail. Imagine the fight against Zorah Magdaros but cooler
In my opinion I think we will see the return of all the main line flagships. I feel like wilds will be the route the devs want to take to celibate the 20th anniversary and bringing back every flagship is the way to go. At the same time I don’t feel like there will be a massive return for a lot of monsters until TLC and G rank content. I feel like for sure they want to bring back Lagi because the devs miss him, we miss him so there doing the best they can to bring him back. Another thing is that if this game is based on the environments Africa (judging by the Pangolin monsters) I want to see monster brought back and designed with that in mind. I would also love to see them design monsters after ancient life like the flagship should be a spinosaurs (which have been identified in Marocco) would be an awesome addition. Also 100% with bring frontier monsters into Wilds we need to see more frontier reps.
I just saw CR-Volcanic’s video on all of the Online Monsters. And i think Estrellian could get the Espinas treatment and make it to a mainline game. It’s like a mix of Gore and Zinogre. Awesome monster
There's so many great monsters I hope to see in Wilds but since everyone else has the big ones covered, I have a hot take to add: I want to see Great Maccao.
My personal list of monsters that i want in the game are: Gravios, Akantor, gore Magala, Gogmathios, Amatsu, Dalamadur, Anorupatisu and Vaal Hazard. I think in an open world map with dynamic climate and active wild life, those monsters have a lot to offer.
i would love to see every monster in every monster hunter game to be in one game. generations didn't scratch that itch, it just made it itchier. but i agree with your thumbnail Estrellian would be an AWESOME monster to introduce into the mainline series, and this would be a perfect place to put him, he's an odd duckling, not an elder dragon but not really classified, part of the rare ??? classification being passive and non-territorial, preferring to keep to itself, it would be perfect...... if it wasn't for tencent holding the rights.

I'm a third-gen Hunter so I would really love Lagi, Qurupeco, Agnaktor, and Duramboros in Wilds, in no particular order. However my personal copium pick is Malfestio. I know he's in GU but I didn't play that much, and I absolutely love monsters with unique elements/statuses. Not a particular monster, but it'd also be cool if magnetism returned since it seems like that's an important mechanic in Frontier? (idk much about JP-exclusive MH games so feel free to correct me)
yeah ultimately it being open world is trivial in this discussion, as that won't change what monster are in the game at all. the zone sizes on the other hand, those being able to fit a gammoth, duramboros, akantor, or ukanlos is an important detail. remember that in MHW's early concept art for the elders recess there was an akantor roaming it so they want him in normal maps eventually. pretty sure underwater is not going to be 6th gen, maybe 7th gen if all goes well. the water stuff could easily just be a reference to the rain, if the snakes on the logo represent a final boss or 2 and it's taking inspiration from the Aztec myths that would fit perfectly as there is an Aztec snake god or rainbows with 4 smaller snakes as part of him and as sort of underworld snake too. the other African influence is similar mythology, oddly enough, but only includes 2 snake gods not, the other 4 mini ones. plus if this is the New World, the other half that we see on the maps in the base game final hunter quarters and on the command room table in the Iceborne hub is perfect for this new game's story to take place in. i think they'll have learned and keep something more like old world/Rise kushala, World's was just annoying. i really want a seregios subspecies, same with mizu, astalos, and gammoth because acidic was a fun twist on glavenus. not true, GL mains love fighting rocks it's the only time they get to shine. i personally want gravios and his laser shots to return. yeah, let gigginox shine. remind those fools that the sudo-wyverns are a quartet, not a trio. gigginox is also khezu's original concept done better in game, sacrificing the dick memes. if we never see baleful again i will be happy, it's like they took people comparing him to khezu and, out of spite, baleful was made even more like him. qurupeco has to come back, for sure. agnaktor and glacial are awesome. Wilds likely won't use World's engine and with current gen tech he has to work. or, hear me out, make a new scorpion. screw Frontier if the real team can make better ideas. it's no secret that i have 0 respect for a parasite team that had no confidence to compete with MH so they graveled to get the rights to do a spin off and then came crying again when it failed. the true MH team can make way better scorpion monsters. also the way that trash scorpion's part breaks worked was obnoxious. fix monoblos, give him a more unique moveset to set him apart from diablos. maybe let him fly so he mixes flight and digging attacks. that would be new and fresh for him. nibblesnarf is great, he's a goofy sand leviathan that adds variety for that skeleton. come on the logo is 6 snakes, they have to have fixed the lagi issue so we can have najarala, tidal, and a new snake or 2. didn't know oroshi was cut, i was hoping or it but thought they'd maybe leave it out because ice structures was velkhana's thing. i love oroshi kirin though.
My perfect trio would be Bazelgeuse/Seething, raging Brachy, and Nergigante/Ruiner Nergi. Those are my favorite monsters to see, hear and hunt. Out of monsters I haven't fought, my one pick is Valstrax. I've only played World/Iceborne & Sunbreak. I'd also like Odogaron, my favorite fight in the rotten vale.
If Zinogre comes back I want also his Stygian Variant, Safi would be cool but i think its unlikely due to Alatreon, If they ar gonna make a cave systembin wilds there has to be a event quest with Kulve Taroth my favorite monster.

(originally i thought the game was a little too easy an i was breasing through most encounters untill i fought odogaron and lost miserably)
Wilds is definitely in the new world just from the title card and the hunter has a clutch claw and scout flies so we will have a a good chunk of the world roster
Rath and Daora would've definitely been in the DO NOT want tier for me except for the fact that Rise made their fights a thousand times better. Now I don't mind them.
My number one monster I want to return (other than Valstrax)... I'd probably say... Kecha Wacha; I like the Son Wukong (plus Pigsy for the Palicos) styled armor, and it's got the best Insect Glaive to go with it! I've been bummed ever since that no game after has at the least had a simple staff, so maybe they can make a return. Also, I'd love to see Palamutes as a mount option, mostly because I love having Amaterasu as my doggo, and don't see that looking quite right on a raptor-type mount like we see in the trailer (would be funny though)

the jaggi can already mate and reproduce when still jaggi so can Baggi ,Wroggi and Girros they dont need to turn into an Great to do so so ther can be entire populations who never develope a great at all

When you mention lagi, I think that realistically they're gonna make him more like his subspecies again if they bring him back. It is unlikely we get underwater combat unless there is an area with a lot of water that they just refuse to show us, but I still see lagi having a possibility at making it in. I know a lot of people have theorized that this is meant to be a game inspired by Africa, and I know that Lagi would certainly fit for a crocodile monster. There is also a fair bit of speculation that we will see the return of snake wyverns in this title as well, and given they would likely have the same technical issue as lagi, but worse, if snake wyverns do see a return, then there is a high likelihood we will see Lagi as well.
I desire Wulgs, also, Malfestio. My enthusiasm didn't hold when I got GU but came back with World, and so, I missed fighting the owl, but I would love to see something like that in Wilds.
Valstrax, I know it was back in rise and other monsters should get the spotlight again, but good God imagine a chase across an expansive dune as you dodge and weave through its bombardment on your mount.

I wanna see the Dar'hen Mohran in Monster Hunter Wilds
One monster that must come in go bench Tigrex MUST be Gurenzeburu (Glensebull). Despite being a Dia-Monoblos type monster his arena type battle as well as in how he's a defender monster in the environment could add tons of ecology content, specially on the World "investigation clues" you see in the map such as footprints, old scales, you get me here.
They could take the "Gurenzeburu travels around herds of Erupe and Berukku, providing protection to them" and apply it to Monoblos with the lightning rod herbivores, taking some aspects from Gammoth and Popo's relationship

Solid takes all around because these are literally all the monsters I have been telling my friends I I want in. The only other one I want that you didn’t mention is the Gobul. I think they could do something really cool by giving it some elemental variants. Like a magma gobul or making him like a landmine nibblesnarf

There can be no Shantien without its arch rival Disufiora, who is way too over the top for mainline MonHun imo. Still a possibility, tho.

My theory about Wilds is Dragons Dogma 2 being released this year will serve as a playtest for Wilds and I think Wilds will share a lot with DD2.
NPC hunting companions, the ability to climb monsters and terrain, custom move sets for the weapons. All of it.
Because the two games release a year apart from each other and have 2 of the same people working on them. Plus, DD2 and MH aren't all that different.
i just want more frontier monsters in general, i absolutely loved every second i played frontier, and i really miss the monsters a ton
honestly i’m i’d love to see the variants of monsters like some of the original ones from stories 2 take the place of the normal monsters
I love videos like these. Aside from the usual suspects, I’d love for more insects, especially a revamped version of the vespoid queen. Giggi is sorely missed, as is lagiacrus and quru. In terms of frontier monsters, pokaradon fits right in. I also strongly believe that “subspecies” should be able to make an appearance without their main species, so tigerstripe zamtrios would be insane.

Najarala is the first monster i thought of during the wilds reveal. Both the environment and logo just scream najarala. Also think dalamadur has an ok chance at being in with his corspe beeing seen in world.
Personally i really want harudomerugu to be in wilds as a late game monster, never got to fight him but the idea of a liquid metal dragon is really cool

I want underwater combat to return so we can get Lagiacrus, Gobul and other water based monsters in their own turf.
I want to see more arthropod monsters like nerscylla and baelidae.
Not just returning ones, but new ones too. My biggest gripe with World was that the majority of monsters were kinda samey, so I'd love to see more variety.
The main ones I want to come back are gigginox, kecha wacha, congalala, pokarodon, gogomoa and a shit ton of the Frontier or Online monsters.
Also gobul, but that’s assuming water combat returns.
Wilds is probably in new world since that the hunter in the trailer has scout flies and his arm crossbow. Also that the map of what we see looks a lot like the guiding lands. The last thing is that those 2 huge half pipe like structures we see at the end of the trailer almost from a worm like structure wich mean that Dalamadaur can have a come back wich seems logic since that the dalamadaur fight was on the other site of the monster hunter continent of the new world but we know that full grown dalamadaur have made it in the new world before as in the rotten vale.
Harudomerugu. I just want him once in the main line series. He‘s so unbelievably creative with his element, looks SO good and feels like a distant cousin of Valstrax.
Khezu is a great addition but they should make it creepier by movement (like neck snapping after it hears you) and ambience

Barioth was such a wall for me when I first played MHGU, as my first proper monster hunter back in 2019, I’d love to see him be returned to actually feeling difficult, Rise neutered him so I definitely think he deserves a second chance in wilds, maybe even Sand Barioth too
The first monster I thought of coming back was Great Jaggi, mostly because of the amount of monsters that can be on screen at once. Great Izuchi had a cool pack tactics thing going on with its attacks, I feel like Great Jaggi can lean more into the idea it's mean to be the pack leader in the same way.
OH ALSO. Toridcless I really really want in. But this is a bias of "I love when myths from my culture are designed as monsters in video games", and Toridcless as a Thunderbird representation is very cool to me.
imagine if Wilds has a Greater Jaggi, a colossal Jaggi that hunts with two Great Jaggi who each have their own two Jaggi (maybe a few Little Jaggi as well?)
i jsut love to see G-jaggi return cause of all the pack leaders the little jaggi where jsut so stupid and useless most of the time
when the G-jaggi roared during a hunt all the small jaggi would jump suddenly in a cyrcle aroudn you squeeking and after making like 2 rounds they would try to body check you by throwing themself agaisnt you with a jump
but oftne they would hit each other or you hit them and they then had a unique thign that they would flign away then lay there and stand back up
when i first seen it happen i jsut feld sorry for the little guy and kinda embaressed for the G-jaggi xDD

G-girros had some unique stuff with the girros but the girros didnt had an unique thing when hit mid jump like the jggi had
Great izuchi, anknosom, tzitzi ya ku, and great maccao really need to come back, the entry birds need to be memorable and goofy, like kulu ya ku, i love velociprey and great jaggi but id rather have them come back if i could only bring a few id prefer the weird ones over basically big lizards. All of them would be great and then you could basically choose your route to rank up into higher tier monsters to lean into the open world aspect. Also malfestio cause we need more straight up birds in mon hun.
I hope we are part of the first exploration of a new continent but all I truly want is great maccao and SnS oils

Honestly, I'd like a desert version of Tobi-Kadachi (a sub species) that generates heat instead of lightning especially during daytimes when deserts are quite hot due to sand able to store a large amount of heat (seriously, it's like stepping on microscopic coals from a fire kind of heat, to me at least)
I do wonder what the name of this Tobi-Kadachi would be (hopefully keeping either Tobi or Kadachi to let us know on it's relation to the actual monster of course)

if i were to make a regios variant, i would name it Sandstorm Seregios, it's attacks's range will be longer because he can weaponize the sand (like silverwind nargacuga, he uses the wind as a weapon too i think) and also he will have special moveset the normal regios didn't have

At some point in this game's lifeapan I would love to see Tartaronis from MHO make it's way into the main series, thematically works and with how open the world looks to be we'd have the perfect place to fight it

I could see many of the monsters you said enter MH Wilds, but since i really like dalamadur, i imagine like an "event". Like if the game is singleplayer, then when you have hunted an amount of monsters and/or you reach a rank/lv, then a dalamadur event triggers, like if there are npc they say something like "the rumbling has begun, it was fortold in the ancient text, that a monster the size of mountains, would rain terror down upon us" and a dalamadur would appear by burrowing up from the ground, or coming out of that mountain ring in the trailer. Then the dalamadur would move around the dessert and you would have to attack them. Then you would need to defeat them in time or else you fail. Imagine the fight against Zorah Magdaros but cooler
In my opinion I think we will see the return of all the main line flagships. I feel like wilds will be the route the devs want to take to celibate the 20th anniversary and bringing back every flagship is the way to go. At the same time I don’t feel like there will be a massive return for a lot of monsters until TLC and G rank content. I feel like for sure they want to bring back Lagi because the devs miss him, we miss him so there doing the best they can to bring him back. Another thing is that if this game is based on the environments Africa (judging by the Pangolin monsters) I want to see monster brought back and designed with that in mind. I would also love to see them design monsters after ancient life like the flagship should be a spinosaurs (which have been identified in Marocco) would be an awesome addition. Also 100% with bring frontier monsters into Wilds we need to see more frontier reps.
As someone who didn’t like fighting Nibelsnarf in Generation, Nibelsnarf would be a welcome addition to wilds
I just saw CR-Volcanic’s video on all of the Online Monsters. And i think Estrellian could get the Espinas treatment and make it to a mainline game. It’s like a mix of Gore and Zinogre. Awesome monster
There's so many great monsters I hope to see in Wilds but since everyone else has the big ones covered, I have a hot take to add: I want to see Great Maccao.
My personal list of monsters that i want in the game are:
Gravios, Akantor, gore Magala, Gogmathios, Amatsu, Dalamadur, Anorupatisu and Vaal Hazard.
I think in an open world map with dynamic climate and active wild life, those monsters have a lot to offer.
i would love to see every monster in every monster hunter game to be in one game. generations didn't scratch that itch, it just made it itchier.
but i agree with your thumbnail Estrellian would be an AWESOME monster to introduce into the mainline series, and this would be a perfect place to put him, he's an odd duckling, not an elder dragon but not really classified, part of the rare ??? classification being passive and non-territorial, preferring to keep to itself, it would be perfect...... if it wasn't for tencent holding the rights.

I'm a third-gen Hunter so I would really love Lagi, Qurupeco, Agnaktor, and Duramboros in Wilds, in no particular order. However my personal copium pick is Malfestio. I know he's in GU but I didn't play that much, and I absolutely love monsters with unique elements/statuses. Not a particular monster, but it'd also be cool if magnetism returned since it seems like that's an important mechanic in Frontier? (idk much about JP-exclusive MH games so feel free to correct me)

yeah ultimately it being open world is trivial in this discussion, as that won't change what monster are in the game at all. the zone sizes on the other hand, those being able to fit a gammoth, duramboros, akantor, or ukanlos is an important detail. remember that in MHW's early concept art for the elders recess there was an akantor roaming it so they want him in normal maps eventually. pretty sure underwater is not going to be 6th gen, maybe 7th gen if all goes well. the water stuff could easily just be a reference to the rain, if the snakes on the logo represent a final boss or 2 and it's taking inspiration from the Aztec myths that would fit perfectly as there is an Aztec snake god or rainbows with 4 smaller snakes as part of him and as sort of underworld snake too. the other African influence is similar mythology, oddly enough, but only includes 2 snake gods not, the other 4 mini ones. plus if this is the New World, the other half that we see on the maps in the base game final hunter quarters and on the command room table in the Iceborne hub is perfect for this new game's story to take place in.
i think they'll have learned and keep something more like old world/Rise kushala, World's was just annoying.
i really want a seregios subspecies, same with mizu, astalos, and gammoth because acidic was a fun twist on glavenus.

yeah, let gigginox shine. remind those fools that the sudo-wyverns are a quartet, not a trio. gigginox is also khezu's original concept done better in game, sacrificing the dick memes. if we never see baleful again i will be happy, it's like they took people comparing him to khezu and, out of spite, baleful was made even more like him.

or, hear me out, make a new scorpion. screw Frontier if the real team can make better ideas. it's no secret that i have 0 respect for a parasite team that had no confidence to compete with MH so they graveled to get the rights to do a spin off and then came crying again when it failed. the true MH team can make way better scorpion monsters. also the way that trash scorpion's part breaks worked was obnoxious.
fix monoblos, give him a more unique moveset to set him apart from diablos. maybe let him fly so he mixes flight and digging attacks. that would be new and fresh for him.
nibblesnarf is great, he's a goofy sand leviathan that adds variety for that skeleton.
come on the logo is 6 snakes, they have to have fixed the lagi issue so we can have najarala, tidal, and a new snake or 2.

My perfect trio would be Bazelgeuse/Seething, raging Brachy, and Nergigante/Ruiner Nergi. Those are my favorite monsters to see, hear and hunt. Out of monsters I haven't fought, my one pick is Valstrax. I've only played World/Iceborne & Sunbreak. I'd also like Odogaron, my favorite fight in the rotten vale.
Imagine there will be "underwater combat" but it willjust be a Juratodus fight like in World, where it dives around a little lol
If Zinogre comes back I want also his Stygian Variant, Safi would be cool but i think its unlikely due to Alatreon, If they ar gonna make a cave systembin wilds there has to be a event quest with Kulve Taroth my favorite monster.

two monsters, beotodus and odogaron. beotodus because of his awesome armor set, and odogaron becuase he was the monster that originally made me fall in love with the game! (originally i thought the game was a little too easy an i was breasing through most encounters untill i fought odogaron and lost miserably)
Wilds is definitely in the new world just from the title card and the hunter has a clutch claw and scout flies so we will have a a good chunk of the world roster
Gammoth also feeds into the whole "natural phenomena" thing. Have her trigger avalanches and stuff.

My number one monster I want to return (other than Valstrax)... I'd probably say... Kecha Wacha; I like the Son Wukong (plus Pigsy for the Palicos) styled armor, and it's got the best Insect Glaive to go with it! I've been bummed ever since that no game after has at the least had a simple staff, so maybe they can make a return.
Also, I'd love to see Palamutes as a mount option, mostly because I love having Amaterasu as my doggo, and don't see that looking quite right on a raptor-type mount like we see in the trailer (would be funny though)
