All recent fire Units on this Card, less exiting modifiers makes sense to balance it with +1 extra Jobs. Unlike Yuna's Card which had excellent generic modifiers only 3 Jobs big downside.
I'm afraid they are gonna introduce some new mechanic, most likely a VC powercreep because as more cards are getting introduced, most classes can team up with any jobs and they don't like it coz less players are gonna pull for a new vc if they already have cards that have those stats+jobs
Appreciate the analysis. I pulled Gilgamesh, but still on the fence for this VC. Pierce and chain resist both feel niche (unless using multiple pierce units) and the coverage and quality of the other pierce VCs make this feel like a bit of a luxury.
Totally agree on the statement on this card. Nest week tough... exdeath card is kind a must have not only for himself but other mages... waiting eagerly for both....

I was listening while driving, so don't judge me too harshly if I missed it, but... that "To Hit" chance table, that was without a S.Resnick pairing, right? The chances aren't quite so abysmal if you have the team specc'd into bulk/ACC? (I know he can hit like a wet noodle, then, but, just clarifying for myself. 😅 I hadn't run the numbers as expertly as you have. 😁👍) Thanks, again, as always! Thanks! And correct I wasn't including the Resnick buff in the numbers, but it absolutely is part of the decision making if you were considering all elements of it. That's why I also didnt include Rikku's Buff % in the numbers (but mentioned it)
Hard disagree, unless you are facing heavy evade teams, all pierce teams need to stack as much damage as possible considering how little penetration they get. So if a card offers 1 “must have” stat and 1 “almost must” have stat it helps a ton with team building.
@Alfredilopulus but if people stack 20-30% Pierce Res, an extra 20 mod is not going to make up that difference. Most Pierce Units have enough Imperils too now that they don't rely as much on the penetration
@@ReadyPlayerWill The pierce imperils are usually behind things that you cant always relly on (unlike support skill) and is like you say when building teams, everything helps and you need to find a way to optimize teams as much as posible.
