According to Google Maps, the unlock that the train passes at 15:38 is for the Tighe Logistics Group Warehouse. However, this video was shot over twenty years ago, so at the time, the name of this warehouse may have been "Zipps."
12:58 that’s actually Mishawum station; Winchester is further South. It’s the next station after Mishawum. Today no trains stop at Mishawum anymore because Anderson/Woburn RTC is a mile to the north with better parking capacity, easier drive off the highway and a lot of local and National Bus connections.
Man oh man, I would LOVEEEE to be able to get cab ride videos like this for my channel... and also just because it would be so much fun! Oh well. Also I was shocked that the video said it was Downeaster. That train started in 2001, and this video looks like it's from 1986 :D
The technology Paul was using at the time was stuff he bought from a broadcast station selling their older equipment so I am going to guess that yeah, this equipment probably is from that era hahaha
LOL @ "FleetCenter" Also it's a little weird that the lady driving the train thinks they're going through Burlington when they're nowhere near there :D Also what was up with calling Winchester by Mystic Valley Parkway a "rough area" or bad area or whatever. Not sure if they were making a joke or something. Either way good stuff. It was neat seeing things like the somerville end of the central mass still in place. No sign of any green line! Lots of currently disconnected sidings still connected, and of course a commuter rail train with no double deckers!
@@RumfordBranchProductions More likely Spring of 2002, the Downeaster didn’t start revenue service in 2001 until December 15th. Those were some green trees! I bet it was spring of 2002.

@@alx-vn8gs Our track charts still showed it as Zipps when I worked on the line a couple years ago. Railroad names are often very slow to change.

Why did the driver not honk at that intersection
