New Set looks like RNG trash that won't by my style. Maybe it is best in slot, but meh.
I would rather try to get a good blizzard set while farming the hydro set personally.
People just like to talk about new information before actually thinking about how shit works. The leaker himself said to farm Heart of Depth for Ayato 👍.
Did some quick math. Hydro set will always be more reliable than the new set. Because the proc on the new set will only trigger in average only once every 2-3 hits, while hydro set will give you flat out 15% hydro dmg bonus + 30% NA bonus all the time.

@@HotPepperLala because the set has rng and icd. it's really unreliable. hod is more reliable plus blizzard is broken which means the resin spent super worth compared to the new sets that are too specific
though i would like to add that the actual maths the new set is actually stronger than hod for him for his E. 20% stronger for atk sands and 15% stronger for hp% sands. with atk sands this 20% can be lower if there's worse rng so realistically it's about 12%-15% stronger which is not worth farming imo unless you have xiao. the new set only loses on burst damage from hod since it's 10% weaker
and you can farm for ayaka and ayato at the same time 😂

tbh this current 2.5 first half isn't that exciting for me... I can't roll for yae since Im saving for ayaka and also the enkanomiya event is based on exploration so it's kinda annoying... also I'm not able to do the story quest cuz I didn't finish omnipresence over mortals ( idk I felt bored so I stopped doing the quest )

Leaks are such a blessing for genshin. Keeps the game exciting when the developers give us no end game content besides abyss

leaks are a blessing now to the majority of the players, i dont care what mihoyo if they feel bad for leakers, its their fault for not showing us any roadmaps or future plans despite giving us dry content and no endgame

Some studios use " leak " strategies to generate interest/controversy especially when the content is dry. You'd be surprised how many companies have been using those marketing ploys and not just for gaming.
Sort of. Once you can 36 star the Abyss, its not like there is any content out there you need new characters for. After that, its just who you enjoy playing. And these leaks don't really show that.

First one:His not a phisical DPS and the atk after his skill are skill dmg since they scale off his skill LV!
Second one: is mostly a Xiao set!
@@nicholasg.6175 from the leaks, there are reason i want to build him like that! His Skill cooldown is long for a 80energy cost ult so you need ER to maintain the uptime!
All his kit get extra dmg based of his max HP, while i will sacrifice the set boost to give more hp i'm buildding him like a typical DPS crt, elemental, atk%(artifacts) jade cutter 20%hp +20% from 2pc milileth, jade cutter also increases atk based of max HP, skill dmg incrrases based of stack 0.64% per stack(lv6) up to 4 times. And his passive boost his ult base off 3% of max HP!
All from leaks and subject to change of course!
He is, as far as I can tell, pretty much everything you’ve been hoping. Hydro sword user, likely solid main DPS potential, sick animations and attacks. Even better, jade cutter works better on him than any other sword DPS since he actually gains additional scaling off of max HP.
Rest assured I did some calculations and ik ur thinking an hp% sands will work better for him...trust me it won't...attack% is still the way to go
@@wolvesbane1748 I never said HP% was better. I simply said that jade cutter is a really strong weapon for Ayato, and Mtashed happens to have one.

Basically miHoYo even sued beta testers when they leaked stuff, so if Mtashed gets his information from leakers (basically beta testers) and leaks it further anything is possible regarding his channel

i believe the two new artifact sets coming out would fit perfectly for xiao. he is finally getting a artifact set specifically just for him after a year/half which is nice. i saw the pieces and they look so pretty, one even gave a mention to the purple yaksha that’s still missing.
Ayato's supposedly "BIS artifacts" seems like too much of an rng for me. They might tweak it but for now I'll farm a few HoD sets just in case.

I saw the leaks yesterday, and while I'm not sure about what artefact set I want to use on him, I started to farm Hydro cube and got all the Sakura blooms (I had already almost enough Sakuras). Also beat up the new weekly boss, and got 1 boss item for Yae and for Ayato :D
For the rest of the patch, will be saving primos and farm other ascension and talent mats. Ayato is the first character ever I am prepping for in advance, daaaaamn.

I'd suggest holding off on farming ascension mats for now. Not enough chasm leaks to confirm wether or not they'll change his ascension boss mats with a new boss release

I don't know if I'm just dumb or what but I'm in awe with people talking about numbers when deciding whether they're pulling for a character or not. Sometimes even debating if a character is a dps, hypercarry or whatever. While me? I just look at the character design. If it's great, then I'll pull! Lmao no pressure 😂🤣
We're the same lol I've been waiting for ayato's face reveal ever since i found that one speculation vid that showed ayaka + ayato tapestries in the kamisato estate. But I also appreciate how the genshin meta is designed too, obvious flaws aside.

When his drip marketing poster came out, I was like yes definitely pulling for him! But after I saw the leaks of his play style I'm now 200% sure 😂🤣 I've never been this hype over a character since Zhongli. I don't even care if he makes no damage lmao I just wanna have Ayato 😂

I'd say watching ayato's leaks is the first time in a while that I've been so mesmerized. Last time was kazuha, and i thought his character design and abilities were so pretty that I immediately decided to save up after zhongli xD kazuha and ayato are the only characters I prefarmed/plan to prefarm for

for glad vs HOD: im pretty sure the math depends on if ur using yunjin or not, i think HOD is better if youre using yunjin, while glad is better if you are not. the damage difference is minimal though, so use whatever 4pc set has the better substats. the new artifact sets look really copium too, i wouldnt suggest ppl go to that domain unless they are a dedicated xiao main.
HOD is safest option but I doubt we are getting a new artifact domain in chasm

Yeah the EO set passive is kinda meh, feels like gacha for that 60%. I don’t know too much about the math but I think HoD is better for consistency.

He's a main DPS, yoimiya is useful until they're 1 meter away from you

Yeah, I got Ganyu, am skipping Yae because her playstyle just doesn't look fun and I'm definitely rolling for the speedy katana husbando. I absolutely love that vibe.
I got Zhongli. Then I got Jean while going for Xingqiu’s constellations so I had guaranteed for Raiden. Unfortunately, I’m an idiot and tried to get Fischl and got Yae in 3 pulls. So now I may have lost Raiden again for a 5 star I didn’t want and will never use.😭

Ayato will definitely fit your playstyle, Mr. Tashed. His kit and scaling is pretty similar to Ganyu. I see alot of potential, his kit is broken on paper.
where are you getting your information from? His scaling numbers have not been leaked yet, all numbers you see in leaked videos are custom. Also has HP passive. Also mtashed is doing a dumb dumb, wasting his resin like that, ayato launches alongside with his BIS artifact domain. Estimated like 20% difference

@@hansmoran1219 it's all out brother. All the scalings have already been leaked. They will obviously get buffed because they're on the lower side with high cool downs and high energy costs AND normal ICDs
After watching this video, i thought that apparently new characters are the only source of content for the end game players. But that fun too is sometimes ruined by pre farming stuff, cuz I feel like the reason players are attached to their first 5 star characters in the game was that they saw them grow slowly rather that become unga bunga all at once😅. At least that's what it was for me.

His HP scaling is such a small amount, it makes me wonder if the only reason they put it in is because of his C2. It’s not worth building HP it’s just a nice extra bonus
His base HP is pretty average nothing compared to Hu Tao or Zhongli’s
And ye I’m farming heart of depth for him as well. I like the +15% hydro dmg bonus and it’s relatively unconditional +30% as opposed to the new set that now includes gacha for 60% lmao

I'm pretty sure they put the HP scaling to finally introduce a sword character that benefits from HP, this way they make Jade Cutter BiS for someone. Right now, Jade Cutter is generally good, but it's not BiS for absolutely no character.
The problem is Ayato will come with his own BiS sword, so Jade Cutter will be second again

In my opinion, I've been pretty underwhelmed with most of the recent banners, whether it'd be that they were trash(meta-wise), or that they were boring to play--or that their style wasn't my thing, I was never satisfied --to the point where I almost impulse pulled for Ganyu(She's great meta-wise, but she's boring to play) because I didn't care much anymore, because I got so used to skipping every banner. But then Ayato changed that. He ticks all the boxes.
The last time a character genuinely had me this excited, was Kazuha. Ever since then I've barely pulled at all. Right now I have more than 50k primos and almost 30 intertwined fates, I'm right at pity, but it's a 50/50. I want to get Ayato, and C2 Kazuha or Ayaka/Raiden. I'm gonna need time to think about this , but for sure, Ayato is a must cop no matter what.
Kazuha, Raiden and Ayaka are the only 5* chars that are very good from Inazuma imo. Others feel like trash/niche.

Kokomi is the most universal healer I have. 6000 HP restore per tic and a physical hit of 25-30k free damage. She is amazing on most teams, especially freeze. I use her in all my Abyss runs.
Yoimiya is highly used as well and at C0 rivals C2 HuTao. Her speed and targeting mitigate teleporting enemies. With attack speed buffs she is nuts.
Itto is one of the Strongest and easiest to build DPS units for F2P, and at C0 can clear the abyss with less investment than other units.
Sayu is fun to use and a time saver for exploring/farming.
Sara is niche in electo teams, but seeing as how she buffs Raiden, and if you got Raiden you likely have her, that is a good thing.
Woofy is key on Geo teams and gets free damage out of Albedo teams.
Thoma is iffy. He is great for attack speed buffs and a decent shield, but his kit is lacking.
Same with the singer lady.

As of right now it's pretty hard to say whether HP is worth going for on Ayato. The HP scaling is a bit mediocre so ATK is still better from what I understand. It's like Zhongli's HP scaling; if you want Zhongli's burst to do maximum damage, you're gonna want ATK over HP, but HP also adds some damage, it's the same idea with Ayato. If they buff his base ATK (which they probably will like they did with Yae) then HP is definitely not worth stacking. On the other hand, if they buff his HP scaling, then maybe an HP sands will outperform ATK sands.
After I saw the leaks of his gameplay I have to say I'm really tempted. The last Hydro character I got was back in 1.2 when I got Qinqou. He looks really good at applying hydro and with just having got Yae and have Ei the Electro-charge could be real fun. But I'm about 90% Kazuha is also coming out for his banner, and I also have to take into consideration Dendro will likely come soon, and then theres also some other Inazuma characters that I am anticipating like Kuki Shinobu who I hear will be a pyro Ninja which lets be honest here sounds completely awesome.
And of course when the next region unlocks we will have to think about the Archon there too even if we don't know exactly when they will be released... man I'm going to have to make hard choices in the future. Unfortuantely I think this means a second skip for Ayaka and possibly Yoimiya as much as thats going to hurt... either that or the gods can grant me some insane luck. Or Hoyoverse can add a second standard banner that with some of them on it so I can actually stand a chance at getting them one day.

The “ice” set is BiS on Ayaka, Freeze Ganyu and pretty much any cryo dps when you use them on a perma freeze comp
yesterday after the RELEASE i was wondering if some one would cover artifacts and mats and here is a vid today , im so happy.
I feel like the wait is infinitely longer when you don’t look at the leaks, the only time I actively avoided leaks was with Itto cause I knew I’d love him but that period felt like genuinely years
I looked at Yae leaks when they came out and it felt like she came out the next week

Judging from his kit, 4 piece heart of depth is going to be his best in slot, especially considering how his E works. Judging from his sig weapon, Jade cutter is actually gonna be a better weapon for him. New sword is basically his weapon if you wanna use him as burst support, jade cutter is best for dps Ayato
Edit; his ascension stat is supposedely crit damage, also your support ganyu comment is viable, burst support ganyu is probably his best supporting character
Bruh... I just did the same thing trying to get decent artifacts for Ganyu. Not good artifacts, but just a base line minimum of decent because that's about all I can hope for. 11 fragile resin gone and I've got so many healing bonus water hats I could cry, def main stat trash that it's little more than a meme, and ONE useable feather in the entire thing. This is why I hate farming for artifacts.
I've been farming Itto's artifact just about any chance I get, and all I get is copium 🙃. Still don't have a decent set for him

Jade Cutter fits Ayato because of the HP dmg bonus, but he's getting his own set, so don't throw everything into heart of depth

I got a Jade Cutter in my same pull as Kagura's Verity.
I'm in a dilemma. Was saving up for Ayaka since I have no cryo units except Diona.
But Ayato looks so cool so I'm not sure anymore.
I feel the main reason miHoYo has been so against leaks, is their habit of fiddling with things, even between the last beta build, and live. Due to that, in Honkai, there have been those that would invest in a banner really heavily based on info from the last beta build, only to find out later it was nerfed through the floor between that last beta build, and live, so they were PISSED!
Due to that, it's best to wait until things hit live, before being so certain something will be good, or shit. Although an even better option, would be to just quit Genshin, and play something else.
I've got more time on my own. Once I get Raiden Ei, then I will go back saving. I need Ayato because...I need more Hydro power! 😎
it's good to see that a character I'm excited about might be meta or at least the man himself wants. All the characters I went for were like Kokomi, drip over meta for me.

The hydro infusion of his E is still considered Normal atk (NA) if he attacks..
The same logic also works on Yoimiya with pyro cup and pyro infusion NA, and Childe too.
That new artifact set is really taylored for Ayato, and i can also see that Childe and Yoimiya can benefit with that also. But that fact that HOD is also one of the best set for Ayato is also true.
As you've seen this leak, there will be a new artifact set that's absolutely broken on Ayato so there is no real need to "farm" artifacts beforehand.

It doesn't seem to be that consistent tbh you're gonna miss the buff for like more than Half your attacks while HoD will give it's buff for 100% of your atks. Unless the new one gets adjusted and buffed it doesn't seem that good

Guys remember, Mtashed has been waiting for a hydro sword user to put his Jade Cutter on for a while, and Ayato fits that.
This doesn't mean Ayato is a must-have for you, I actually looked at his kit and it looks decent, but nothing broken or OP at all.
I'm personally skipping him because I must save, and I really don't need him.
His idle animation is him drinking milk tea I also have the mistspliter so I'll use that but I want jade cutter but the weapon banner is practically leaking RNG

Yeah and I found that black sword from bp is very good for him so for low spender there is something like serpent spine for Itto; for Ayato "black sword" it scales with CRIT and give him 20% normal atk bonus and even it might over powered his specific sword at higher refinement

if you want a Hydro application for Ganyu you should get Yelan she does the same thing as Ayato but her support is made for Ganyu and Hu Tao while Ayato support and play style will only work for Yoimiya and Ayaka

Hard choice. I would like a hydro sword user and i have jade cutter but i would have to replace either kazuha or ayaka. Might have to put him on the list of re runs. I think Ayato and miko are my next targets for there re runs for later.

Imagine had ayato using skyward sword and yun jin c6. When ayato doing burst the atk speed from NA is +24% (10 from weapon, 12 from yunjin c6 burst). it could be +39% (+15% if u have jean c2)

Chat is kinda wrong on Ayato tho, the new artifact set (the normal attack one) is good for Ayato because his skill enhances normals just like how Yoimiya's e skill works. But Hydro arti set is still good tho.

The hydro infusion of his E is still considered Normal atk (NA) if he attacks..
The same logic also works on Yoimiya with pyro cup and pyro infusion NA, and Childe too.
That new artifact set is really taylored for Ayato, and i can also see that Childe and Yoimiya can benefit with that also. But that fact that HOD is also one of the best set for Ayato is also true.
Yea but the thing is that due to its RNG, usually the buff won't even apply to Half of your total atks. HoD's buff is consistent for 100% of the duration without any risks
I feel like the new set is his BiS for his main DPS role since his infused sword strikes after his E should be counted as NAs. HoD will probably be his best Sub DPS set but honestly I don't think the gap between them should be too big.
I don't know what to think about his weapon, but man I haven't been this hyped for a character since ever I think.

Also his elemental skill counts as normal attack damage. All those Slashes are normal attacks so HoD AND his new set will work great for him.
