Ahh Kuki Shinobu. My first character from the standard wish. She carried me with her healing early on, and is now carrying me with hyperbloom damage. Plus it helps that she has one of the coolest visual designs in the game. 10/10 character.
I think she is the only one who actually rocks that karakasa parasol visually. I mean, she's a ninja, so a parasol is like a concealed weapon.
Yes, but you have to go all the way to Sumeru. Shouldn’t a good team for F2P be the beginning team with at least one or two characters from Lyuie?
@@robertcampbellii9787 F2P doesnt neccesarily mean that you have to get characters right from the get go. Plus, after finishing the tutorial phase of the game, nothings stopping you from going to Sumeru immediately. The main problem is that most of Kuki's talent and level up mats are in Inazuma, where its practically gatekept until you finish the previous two nations.
Lastly, hyperbloom is brain dead easy to abuse, unless your enemy has a boatload of dendro res.
Another good part about kuki is that her talent levels dont influence her damage THAT much, since all she needs is EM and levels.
And since raising your world level is entirely optional as a new player, if you dont have the mats to ascend her or increase her talent levels (due to them all being olin inazuma), well... Then... Just dont do the world quest until youre ready lol.
@@robertcampbellii9787 *Inazuma. But IMO by the time a player is worrying about Hyperbloom teams and doing that much damage, they'll probably have gone through Inazuma already.
One more thing to add on to this fun way of playing genshin, having the 4pc deepwood set on the dendro character effectively increases the hyperbloom dmg by 2-5k.

@@0rokuSaki I really love her kit. The skill, burst and passives. The tri karma, the em, crit rate and dmg buffs. It gives a lot of things to consider when choosing a way to build her.
@@bazah23 It really came in clutch. Had 37 pity and around 90+ wishes. Lost 50/50 to Jean and got to around pity 55 and was determined to get Nahida even if it took me the entire patch.
Ended up playing for almost the enitre day, doing exploration, quests, leveling the trees and a bunch of other stuff and managed to get her on single pulls at pity 63, kinda freaked out lmao. Was prepared to painfully single pull for 3 weeks.
That was pretty lucky, also got Kuki from C0 to C5 and the widsith

For the Guilded Dream Artifact set, it might be worth checking for 4* Elemental Mastery main stat for headpiece and goblet, as they have like 5% abysmal chance for EM to be main stat. Also it might be worth levelling Kuki to lv90 as Dendro reaction damage rely on character level.
With the amount of characters who need either Deepwood or Gilded these days it shouldn't be that big of a problem honestly. You'll likely be spending thousands of resin in there so there's really a pretty low chance you don't get a 5* Gilded EM goblet, I think I've gotten 5 already, same with circlets. Considering it's not worth grinding for any substats on the thing it should be alot easier than getting those 40+ cv pieces. The one I did save rolled 21% hp which I'm happy for though :) And if by any chance you didn't get one of them yet you are still allowed an off piece so it's pretty chill honestly.
I always had hope with kuki's usage and ever since dendro I have been so happy and grateful for her!
I’ve been wanting Kuki since her debut during the 2.8 quest and with my bad luck, I finally got her a year later. I’m super looking forward to building her for my main exploration team and the Abyss!
Kuki also don't really need talent levels, you can just get her to lvl 90 and you'll be fine, the only reason to level her talents, and only the skill, is for more healing

Your dry delivery really makes this a chuckle inducing video, but besides that I'm really happy to see Kuki getting the love and appreciation she deserves. She's one of my all time favorite 4 stars. I have her on a 4 pc Millileth set still, but I prioritized EM substats and HP, so she's around 500 EM at present. Even with a little bit lower EM than triple EM Mainstats, she's extremely useful in Dendro and Taser comps for me.
I just got nahida and really needed a video on team comps. Really appreciate your efforts.

Easy mode from hyperbloom is something F2P players like myself enjoy taking full advantage of for beating certain content. Especially helps when we lack the amazing but hard to acquire five stars or godly artifacts with even decent amounts of CRIT. Seeing Mtashed still look out for players like us all the way from launch is really appreciated. Thanks for that man, much love to you❤️

I've been using this comp but with Al Haitam slotting in Nahida. I've waiting to see if I can slot in Baizhu instead of DMC so I could tank everything in the overworld without any shield brain-dead mode. Great vid!

Literally. Back when I started in I think 3.0 everyone told me kuki was useless and was a niche unit only good for taser teams. And units like Beidou weren’t early game changing units. Now my friend who just started is AR 18 and has Beidou and dendro MC and is able to demolish all the content in the game with ease. He’s beating bosses I didn’t bother fighting until I was AR 30+ by himself at AR 18. Hyper bloom is such an insane addition to an early game account. Had I had someone to teach me the games mechanics like he does (which would be me) id probably have a much better account. Once I taught him the mechanics of the game like resin, mora, elemental reactions, talents, refinements, constellations, and general tips on how to know what characters need what he was so shocked at how much damage he could actually do with just simple knowledge of the games mechanics. His blooms are doing over 1k each hit and he’s exploring new areas and stomping elite enemies and bosses with eases. And ofc the game is still challenging but having dendro made his life as an early game player so much easier. He’s not gonna feel annoyed at low damage and end up spreading himself thin from trying to build too many characters, he’s not gonna waste all his resin on artifacts early game bc he already had enough damage to confidently walk to bay boss and salt them with enough work put in. The difference between early game players now and before is so different it almost makes me want to start a new account a bring back the fun I had in genshin. Sure the resin system will still be a pain and mora Farming will suck and talent books will be anything to stock up but does it matter when u can toss on 3 em pieces on dendro MC or an electro unit and easily get good damage? Now these new players can save up all their materials bc they won’t feel like they’re doing wet noodle damage and actually enjoy late game genshin. And the community understanding more about the mechanics is good as well bc when I started all the tips I’d get was “build crit rate crit damage” and no one would mention to not use fragile resin until later or to do Laylines and only use the 160 u get per day for artifacts or how useful EM was or any of this stuff. Genuinely was “use vape, build crit, do damage” and nothing else. I’m glad new players get this cushion a lot of use kinda older players didn’t really get.

i started 4 months ago and luckily got c2 kuki off standard even before 3.6.
i have been able to 36* the last 2 abyss cycles with kuki being the trigger for hyperblooms.

The main reason I use Kuki over Raiden is for survivability without having to place a shield or other healer on the team so the other characters I use can be more offensive, so many people are so focused on Raiden hyperbloom that they forget or don't realize that Kuki is an amazing choice. Also, I would like to see Mtashed try burgeon Thoma if he hasn't yet.
Dont have kuki but the banner she's on now is absurd for me to pull on. Already have nahida so maybe I'll get her in a future banner.
This made me feel very happy! I just got Kuki while trying to get Nahida. Haven't gotten Nahida yet, but at least I have Kuki! I used 44 fates (Time for more primo work now - I used what I had acquired after I got Ayaka) and got 2 Kuki, 2 Dori, the Bell, and a YaoYao (my 2nd). Hoping to win my 50/50 - I should be at 70 "pity" right now - I need all the well wishes I can get, LOL!

I love Hyperbloom teams so much! I was relying way too much on Zhongli's shield for so long, it wasn't easy swapping him out for another party member, but the Shinobu - Kokomi combo goes brr with Kokomi having the ocean hued clam artifact set (healing gets turned into damage, and Shinobu uses her own HP to heal, win-win). :D
I think this highlights a key problem with Genshin's combat. At a certain point, evading attacks isn't just unnecessary, but a liability, due to tougher encounters being more about testing DPS than anything else.
Well the game is made to be easy its not intended to be mid maxed so that your granny can jump on with a level 60 deluc and still progress the main story like they make crowing a skill a pain leveling to 90 cost an absurd amount the ex to grt to ar 60 is dible that to get to ar 59 a cap on resin is used to limit how far one can be ahead in Artifacts and they make all fsrming require resin, time gated content /events

Kuki's been really nice to me in my limited banner pulls. Most of my banner 4-stars were her. Already got her C3
Main team right now is Kaeya, Xingqiu, Chongyun and either Xiangling or Faruzan depending on enemies. But having Kuki + Barbara in the backline for whatever my second team will be is hella valuable

I’ve tried this team and replaced Kuki with Keqing and with her electro infusion, just charge attacking on a group of Dendro cores is also effective. I’d still stick with Kuki so you don’t have to use most of your stamina on charged attacks
Im a kuki main and she can create a nuke on her hyperblooms! She is one of my best dps. Mtashed still smashing new ideas for f2p players! Thaaaanks! It really helps🙋🏻♂️
Hyperbloom with kuki is pretty much god mode for early-mid game, she's been my main character for ages now. Only issue with Abyss is the second team you need isn't going to have kuki :(
Raiden. Sayu Raiden Barbara Yao Yao is my strongest team atm (used to be yanfei raiden)
Got Kuki from nothing to C2 yesterday. I will build her as soon as Nahida is built. I know she is good, and this video just convinced me even more.
i'm a new player, i never played genshin impact before and i just started this game 3 days ago. i manage to pull Tighnari and Kuki and hopefully i can pull Nahida before her banner ends. i don't have any Hydro unit except Barbara since she's free but i guess i have no choice. The only issues that disappoint me in this game is that you need to unlock that certain area to ascend your character. since i'm barely reach Liyue today it's kinda sad that my Tighnari and Kuki are stuck at level 40 because i don't have the material to ascend them....

I haven't build Kuki, but just like what you said at the early minutes of the vid. Hyperbloom truly changes the electro game. I do Yae-Nahida, who can proc 30-60k with Yae's E at C0, with a full hyper team, it can go up to 90k, Yae's burst can also hit 90k+ per hit.
Hence I'm saving for c3 Yae, to make her broken.
We have so many new and powerful dendro teams like so many ... We have hyperbloom , burgeon, tfurry , chaos cyno , nilou bloom , salad , airfryer , oven , saute , hyperfridge, fridge , quicken and what not.
Well, guess I'll have to build Kuki next.😅
But my priority right now still is to build Nahida, who I luckily finally managed to get by winning my 50/50. 😊💚
Anyway, thx for the showcase. Even though I somehow never manage to clear the Abyss with 36 stars and am already playing since Raiden's release, I hope that the game won't become easier in the future because unfortunately the overworld and most story related fights already are way too boring. 😕

I never max a *4 to lvl 90 before. But damn, i just had to max her. The dmg increase from lvl 80 to 90 is around 8k per seeds, its too satisfying.

I pulled for Kuki when she debuted and got her C0 on my Asia account! I got her C2 on her rat up before this patch! I pulled for her because of her design and character. I’m just glad that Dendro gave me a chance to play her at every chance I can because she melts the abyss with her hyper bloom capabilities!
Ive been looking to upgrade my Kuki so having this video pop up was very good 👍 👍 but I felt like my team got harassed a bit there I usually go dendro Mc for his e skill Kuki c6 for her e skill wanderer or c6 xing Qiu for his ult and nahida because her e skill with high constellation Kuki is nasty I didn't look up a guide for the team but I started really getting into the game just before sumeru came out, and I swore an oath to always have MC first slot of my main team, so as I built my main team during sumeru I built around making them useful and using mappa mare and harbinger of dawn mixed with kukis heals I'm able to get solid damage with travelers e skill every 8 seconds but my main DPS is nahida because of high constellation Kuki with her ability to send a pulse through groups of enemies and nahidas all schemes to know connecting all the enemies together wanderer is good for enemies that are more spaced but xing Qiu gives nutty damage by creating dendro cores, I don't really know how to properly utilize him but he does pretty good damage I really Unga bunga'd my way to a decent team. I didn't have to sit here and write this and it's the very definition of 🤓 but I wanted to so I did anyone who read this far I hope you have a swell day as well as you Mr UA-camr man

I just started making Shinobu today, because I was sorely needing a healer. Just got her up to level 60, only two of my team is at 70, at AR41... I had to lower my world level because I was getting stomped with no healing abilities and strapped for resources it was just not fun anymore.
I'm still struggling but I just started using Shinobu. I gave her the blackcliff sword and focused on hp, crit rate and damage, and energy recharge for her but I've by no meana built her or even a single team yet. I've just been using the characters Ive been forced to use because I only started playing two months ago and literally I can only use one of my 5 stars. Mona, while the Shenhe I got is stuck at level 50 because I need to complete most of Inazuma apparently to get her ascension material from the bathysmal whatevers.

I just returned to Genshin yesterday, since 2.1, and luckily got Nahida and Kuki. I thought I wouldn't use Kuki because I already have Raiden and Fischl for electro, but damn, making a good Dendro team requiring only an EM Kuki and filling with Dendro + Hydro without caring about characters and stats seems too tempting. But I have to resist the temptation of rushing to Sumeru, I want to take my time this time and not burn out of the game, though I still don't like the massive RNG for artifacts.

it took me until nahidad re run to finally acquire a copy of kuki (got her to c2) and she has opened soo many different team combs for me
got nahida on guranteed 62 pity yesterday on my phone cuz I'm outside the country. Can't wait to get back and play her on Pc :D
You forgot to mention that you have to level Kuki to 90, because hyperbloom scales with level and EM.
Other characters don't have to be LV90, just the one triggering the reaction which is kuki in this case.

actually there's a difference between using nahidas burst and not, if u not use it then u can have any character on field, but if you do use it, its better if you keep kuki on field since she will benefit from nahidas EM boost, making the hyperblooms much stronger... On my team there's like a 6k DMG difference between having nahidas burst and not
my hyperblooms go from 32k to 38k just by keeping my electro character on field during nahidas burst

@Youry Gaming Yae and Lisa are restricted characters where their burst and skill stay at single place only their normal attack is good for on field

Extra Tip: No need to be competitive. It's first and foremost a single player game, but with an added online co-op feature. You don't need to sweat, there's no shame in playing effortlessly. You're not winning against anyone but yourself.

Pulling kuki and nahida recently changed my whole genshin experience 😁
Yeah, Kuki is phenomenal.
Her healing ability has saved my whole team so many freakin times.
Her power literally mixes with almost every other element to boost damage, and even at level 20 she can solo most of the desert monsters twice her level, even with poor items attached to her.
She’s literally the only reason I was able to unlock Inazuma in like a week.
I just got an upgrade for my Kuki! I wanted to get another copy of Xiphos Moonlight (not for Kuki & I only have R1) & since I got lucky pulling 2 Nahida's (the 1st was guaranteed) in 114 pulls (she's now C2) I still had 146 fates left. My pity was 7 (from Alhaitham's weapon)but it was just one 10 pull & I literally said as I hit wish,"it's not like I'll get a 5* at 7 pitty". Then my pull turned gold! I got The Key of Khaj-Nisut which is amazing on Kuki but no Xiphos Moonlight. I can't be mad at a 5* weapon after 7 pitty & I wasn't wishing anymore, I'm saving the rest for Baizhu!
I think a very high selling point for Dendro is that there aren’t any high threat/high difficulty enemies that have a built in Dendro resistance. There’s no Dendro Fatui, no Dendro Abyss, Mages or otherwise, Dendro slimes and Dendro fungi etc go down to the other 2 elements in the comp. The entire release of Dendro, and the mechanics of it with Electro and Hydro make it stupid to not use it.

It's true. Hyperbloom is broken-powerful. I've been Kuki-less ever since she came out, and tried to make hyperbloom work with Fischl, but Oz doesn't always hit the seeds, so.... fast forward to 3.6 update, right after the update I opened up the new character wish banner and my eyes went straight to Kuki. Kuki Shinobu banner for the win! (I already have nahida) I got my Kuki in 70 pulls. Feelin' lucky. Got 3 Doris, 3 Laylas, and a Nilou on the way to Kuki so that's fine and cool too I guess - maybe I'll try them, but the BIG WIN for me is the hyperbloom ninja queen, Kuki.
Finally someone else who understands that the evil sentient umbrella was made to be Kuki’s signature.
Actually just got kuki yesterday. I use her with alhaitham, xingqiu, and zhongli. Honestly broken.
i got her C1 and i think it increases the duration of her skill (i forgot what it does but i got an increase so i assume its the C1) so now its just always up
