I grew up with the brazilian dub (which is iconic in its own way) so I have no nostalgia with the English or Japanese Freezer’s voice acting. To me this is the most fitting Freeza’s voice ever!
I absolutely love the dialogue between Goku and Freeza here. Up til now Freeza has been kinda above it all and always dominated conversations because he could dominate in a fight. This is the first time Freeza is completely unable to be menacing and controlling 'cause Goku is just that absurd and confidently so XD If nothing else, it has to be refreshing for him

That’s definitely what I love most about this fight. Throughout the whole arc, Freeza’s shown that he enjoys intimidating or pissing people off with his smarmy arrogance. So the fact that Goku is such a wildcard and doesn’t understand most of Freeza’s insults slowly gets under his skin until he completely loses his composure and starts attacking irrationally. He’s essentially the type of bully who will do anything to get attention, and will just keep pushing their limits if they can’t get a rise out of someone.
This episode is my go-to for introducing people to DBZA since it contains some of the best character dynamics in the show, and works really well in isolation to the rest of the show.

That’s definitely what I love most about this fight. Throughout the whole arc, Freeza’s shown that he enjoys intimidating or pissing people off with his smarmy arrogance. So the fact that Goku is such a wildcard and doesn’t understand most of Freeza’s insults slowly gets under his skin until he completely loses his composure and starts attacking irrationally. He’s essentially the type of bully who will do anything to get attention, and will just keep pushing their limits if they can’t get a rise out of someone.
