Plini writes the kind of music that’s been in my head since a kid but never existed until now.
This is truth.
you should have written it then :/
@@sylvainpanneau6460 just let the person vibe dude- honestly
@@authroratheii3183 my comment wasn't intended as a critique :) rather an encouragement to try and make music !
only the guest auditions :D his own music isnt that good by my opinion.
Plini's solo is hilariously good
Plini's solo makes me want to cry out it's so good!
I haven't even heard it yet, but gave you a thumbs up bc I know that feeling.
wow its strange seeing a post from two years ago. I didn't really check out their new albums until recently I like this one but I am not sure about the next one yet. I am about to give it a listen.
Absolutely epic! I tried doing a cover of it on my channel yesterday, would love any feedback if you have time :)
Glad im not the only one..
Chris James it’s a no from me, dawg. -Randy Jackson
I sincerely wish for everyone to face their daily struggles with the level of hope this music expresses. Absolutely beautiful music. Also, I nominate the solo at 2:46 as the best of 2015. Holy crap.
Arni Zachariassen I know this comment was 2 years ago, but I just teared up reading it. Hit it right on the nail why music is so great.
Right in the point man.
Loved your comment.

Thanks, man! Appreciate your positive nature.

That SOLO!
+Vycrance Came from tim!
I've read from some troll that Plini is "everywhere" and "so overrated"'dl ike to play this solo to that idiot. Crazy stuff!
+Gaming 10s probably hasn't even listened to plinis music
+Gaming 10s ouch. No worries, there's music out there for you somewhere
Graham Kettles Graham?
I gotta thank Eric the "The Doo" man! ever since his last omegle video I've been playing this song every day! Perfect song to listen to while i ride to and from work every day 🤘
💯 that’s the only reason I found these guys 🔥
The first lead is wonderful. Aaron has such an uncanny sense of melody. It's just addictive!
Plini is at such a young age (born in 1992) is one of the best guitarists, composer of all time.
He reassures me that the John Goodsall, Alan Holdsworth, John Ehteridge, etc. generation is alive and kicking with more power, beauty, intelligence than ever. And every musician of every group he plays with is always up to the same exceptional all-time best’s caliber.
Definitely a best ever multiple plates heavenly table every time Plini and friends offer us an ‘all senses’, timeless, masterful chef-d’oeuvre.
Plini is this generation's Holdsworth, Aaron is this generation's Per Nilsson (of Kaipa - the solos in this song parallel that of those in Angling Feelings by Kaipa heavy af)
@@lordleo9047 I thought ‘Toshin abasi’ owned title to Allen holdsworths latest bunch of ‘modern day’ allen holdsworths.
0:26 that bass though
is that really Plini's solo starting from 3:09 ??
whoever Plini colaborates with, the song will always turn out to be amazing!
Pretty sure he starts at 2:26
Jesus that solo, he's really making that guitar sing
I can't wait until it's Spring time and I can drive around with the windows down, blast these amazing new tunes from Aaron, and feel like I'm on top of the world.
Couldn't have said it better myself
Dustin Morrison every day I'm on the road rain or shine
I live in San Diego and its always summer/spring here. Perfect year round for blasting tunes. Especially Aaron and plini
Best comment thread UA-cam has ever seen, life is awesome!!!
a few years later, but me and some friends drove from whistler to vancouver and blasted this album the whole way. one of my best memories ever
I can't pick a favorite between this one and Meridian, they're so unique, plus Plini's solo on this track is so good! Hands down the best way to close the album.
Alcione Francioli I'm stuck between the two also.
Plini's solo is insane! I even tried doing a guitar cover on my channel if you want to give me any feedback :)
19th day of NNN and UA-cam recommendations are getting too strong to resist
This track is my favorite. If something happens to you, I will be really depressed because you are a huge influence to me and I write my instrumentals like it's my last day because I have a breathing problem. No one can figure out why I do but anyways, I feel every emotion you put into this song. I understand it. Keep being amazing Aaron Marshall.
This is god level of guitar
mad respect🤘
How are you Kyler
Do you smoke?
one of those songs that makes you stop what you are doing to read the title/author and write it down. forgetting is not an option
This song is so beautiful. The Shape of Colour has to be in my top 10 records ever.
the bass riffs are too good..😍😍😍😍😍
Yeah!! .. theDoo brings me here.. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘
This song is the first one in a long time to make me visibly smile.
this whole track is so impressive... love the guitar work, but that slappy dappy bass before the groove is so sweet
no one beats intervals when it comes to amazing instrumentals, solos, and choruses
+d talmood Scale the Summit
+d talmood to be fair Plini's solo on this track is actually the most standout guitar section on the whole album and without a doubt my fav solo section of the whole year. As the guy above at the top pointed out, it is hilariously good! :L
+jerry p none of them have phrasing combined with soul that's as nice as this.
plini, helix nebula, and animals as leaders all dominate them in my opinion

Of course my comment would illicit an annoying fanboy or one who takes it upon himself to represent an entire "era" of music. So primarily your wrong I love hendrix, gilbert. I was at a chon concert in PA. Im a huge fan of guthrie. I learned how to play waves on my guitar. On the other hand This music is very evolved if you dont like or understand the complex melodies or perhaps your ear isnt developed.
this song for sure its a "lets push until I Die" soo powerful and inspirational at the same time!
This is perfect. The melodies are so beautiful that I actually smiled while listening to it. Can't wait to buy this album!
This song always makes me feel things
I honestly had goosebumps throughout that entire solo!
That must be one of the most wholesome riffs I've ever heard. Yeah the solo is good but godddamn that riff is gold.
truth
Intervals! plini! come to the Philippines!
I HAVEN'T CRIED THIS MUCH IN YEARS
With djent or this type of music can open you up to spiritual bliss that is your birthright.
3:09 My Australian friend falling into the sun after somebody breaks his ground harness
this happened to my buddy eric
I wanna watch this playthrough video!
Just saw them in Nashville, so, so good!! Over and over I'd see them
i swear you can make a story in your mind with this song
This was an emphatic conclusion to such a brilliantly vibrant Intervals album!
The solo at around 3:16 and onwards just kicked my ass!!
I only hope he doesn't stop playing the heavy songs once he returns to live performances, so we still get the complete Intervals experience!
Here's to The Shape of Colour being No. 1 Album of the Year!!
This song just gives me hope that I can achieve all of my dreams. That I'll end up in the job I want some day, have that vacation home, travel the world, and live a happy and full life.
30 years of music experience and this solo is my favorite of all time. I just can't seem to get tired of listening to it, holy geez.
I've been listening to this on repeat for over 2 hours now, because I'm trying to figure out what the lyrics would be. This song is badass sounding on an immense level.
la canción que nunca puede faltar cada mañana ❤
this song and that solo make me happy to be a Libra :)
travisamazingable ya damn right

Yeah idk when I subbed but I'm glad I did
learning this as a way to get out of a guitar rut and its definitely working. Please wish me luck on attempting to learn Plini's solo plus all the cool licks in the verse parts
The Doo brought me here....and i aint leaving!! This fuckin bangs!
I have to consider this is one of my most favourite instrumental guitar tracks of all time.
Intervals + Plini = Two guitar beasts/geniuses in one song
From 0:28-1:12 Theres something about this melody that is deeply moving to me. Incredible song thank you
I can't begin to explain how much I love this song
This song is marvelous. Simply marvelous. Must listen on repeat.
This track makes me feel again
And five years later he could hold his own with Petrucci, Satriani, Vai, or anyone else, what the fuck...This is awe-ispiring
U were right man!!! Holy shit
Just have to say as a new comer, I'm so happy that Aaron took this direction with Intervals. Although Mike had a nice voice, A Voice Within sounded more or less like a generic metal band. In comparison, The Shape of Colour is nothing short of a masterpiece!
Found this video completely by accident, loved it after hearing the first 10 seconds.
I left my computer to do something. And while I was away from the computer, my videos were left on autoplay. I come back to the room and I see my autoplay getting ready to start the next video. I was about to stop autoplay, and that's when I heard this. Best mistake I've made today lol xD
My god this is a spicy meatball
Pls more
Intervals and Plini together...I feel as though this should be broadcasted on all major networks at least 4 times a day so people will be much happier.
It's depressing that such masterpieces aren't that famous.
Epic solo = new ring tone
EvilSlayer93 would never answer my phone!
Love the phrasing this song
how can you dislike this???? this is music of God's. pure magic as you sore through the constellation of stars, drifting till that silky solo cuts through and takes you...
Highly impressed by the collaboration this is amazing I wish there was a music video of you guys shredding this sounds too smooth and flawless it's just one of my favorite tracks now been bumping this song every day before going to work 🤘🌹
You guys are literally the best instrumental artists of the 21st century! A Voice Within was amazing to!!!
Damn this song is so good like wow.
this solo is like taking a hit of crack while standing on top of mount Everest while holding 100 grand in cash
why am i just now finding out about legendary music like this 5 years later
I love this song ! I love Intervals!
some singing and its the best song of the universe
There's piles of singing, you just don't hear it.. not all things sung are done with human voices :)
@@MrDmadness agree 100%
This got me threw tough times man love u guy's for it. Alot of tears to this actually.
The fact that this track has an element to it that reminds me of mega man 8’s frost man level
This song is literally the story of my life. I made it through high school which is the first part, then college which is the run up to the epic solo. The solo itself describes the crazy wild time i had in the military serving in combat zones overseas, and then the final part is a tribute to dad who passed away while I was still in and had just come back from one of those combat deployments. It's been a long life already for me, one of adventure, danger, and heartbreaking loss...but this song reminds me of how fast life can go and where it can take you. I'm only 29 years old, but I feel like I've lived a thousand different lives already. This is definitely gonna be played at my funeral
Lost my dad last year. We both play guitar and he helped me a lot with everything, what to look for in a guitar, getting good tone, and focusing on having good vibrato. I really miss bouncing things off of him, definitely feels hollow without him. I almost want to put guitar away but I know he'd find it heart breaking.
Anyway, sorry about your loss. Absence of a loved one really makes you feel like... parts of your life are missing. Especially during celebrations.
@@LoftOfTheUniverse I feel you there, dad was much more than just a dad to both of us it sounds like. I could always talk to him about anything, no matter what it was and I would never get any flak for it. The world is certainly more empty without him around, and he also died last year in February. I didn't think a year could get any worse, then 2020 hit. Don't worry though friend, he's looking down on you tonight, just like my old man. I know he's proud of you.
I know I'm really late, but I know for a fact you two (and many others for that matter) have relatives who are looking down at you with love, support, and pride. Take your pick, they'll show it to you.
@@echo9932 thank you, how is your evening?
@@jebbroham1776 thanks for the response man. I'm about to move across the country from all my friends and family to start building my own. I'm excited about the new adventure, however I'm reminiscing about all the memories I've had with my siblings and close friends... the fact that I won't be 15 minutes away to hang, celebrate birthdays & holidays is really hard because I know I'm not moving back... and I'd love for people to follow us but I don't think it'll happen. Did you struggle being away from loved ones? I'm wishing and wishing I had spent more time with my family this year and I feel the clock ticking. I hope despite 2020's drawbacks you were still able to have blessings amongst the darkness
Fresh air to my ears, wonderfull!
This song speeks more words than any song with a vocalist. Whenever my anxiety gets outta control i put this on, light up and just listen. 2021 and I still feel like it was just released yesterday.
I leave this song for a few months and come back to it every once in a while and when I come back, without fail, that damn solo makes me cry.
Oh this has such a nice positive vibe to this! I like the power and direction in this! Hope we hear it in Chicago in November :D
Need more music with this feel and vibe so fucking EMOTIONAL! Someone help me out

Zach Bell djent is a particular type of prog. Albeit this album is less "djenty" than their previous efforts.
