It has been a bumper few years for the luxury Watch Market. Easy cheap credit like we have never seen before has seen prices soaring. But markets have always moved in cycles and interest rates suddenly rising across the world changes the landscape completely. It always has!
My real world experience with a Rolex GMT MASTER 2 'Batman' shows times are changing and 2024 could just be the beginning.

Whilst I haven’t had the same close relationship with finances as you, I fully agree with your summary. When I first bought a house, probably 1984, but could have been 85, interest rates were at the 15% rate. So a few years ago when as you rightly say banks were throwing ‘cheap’ mortgages at these younger people,I predicted it would end in tears, way before the debt had been settled. A great number are already struggling to pay at 5ish%, just imagine the scene at 12%plus!
