Beverly D’Angelo played Ellen Griswold throughout the entire series of National Lampoon’s Vacation movies, which includes the original Vacation, European Vacation, Christmas Vacation, and Vegas Vacation. She’s also well known for roles in Coal Miner’s Daughter, Entourage, Mom, Shooter, Insatiable, American History X, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Anthony Michael Hall was Rusty Griswold in the first Vacation movie but is also known for his roles in Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, The Dead Zone, The Goldbergs, Warehouse 13, The Dark Knight, and Halloween Kills.
Dana Barron portrayed Audrey in the first Vacation movie and in Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure. She is also known for Heaven Help Us, The Magnificent Seven, One Life to Live, Babylon 5, and Beverly Hills, 90210.
Miriam Flynn played Cousin Catherine Johnson in the first Vacation movie and reprised her role in Christmas Vacation and Vegas Vacation. She is also known for roles in Babe, iZombie, Suburgatory, The Land Before Time, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Malcolm & Eddie, Raising Miranda, and more.
Jason Lively played Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon’s European Vacation and has also appeared in The Dukes of Hazzard, Night of the Creeps, Maximum Force, 21 Jump Street, and more.
Marisol Nichols was Audrey Griswold in Vegas Vacation but is also known for roles in Resurrection Blvd, Blind Justice, 24, The Gates, Teen Wolf, Riverdale, and Criminal Minds, to name a few.
Ethan Embry played Rusty Griswold in Vegas Vacation but is also known for Sweet Home Alabama, Empire Records, That Thing You Do, Can’t Hardly Wait, Grace and Frankie, Stargirl, Sneaky Pete, Once Upon a Time, The Walking Dead, and Dragnet (2003), among others.

Why was Anthony cut out of the screen? Seems like a total amateur was running the camera and split-screen software for this. Very disrespectful to him.

@@TheKitchenerLeslie I'm sure you know, but she played Audrey in European Vacation. She died from diabetes and a massive stroke in 1996 if I remember correctly.

Yeah, she (Dana Hill) went into diabetic ketoacidosis and died in July 1996

Although her character in EV was chubby, the actress was actually a nationally-ranked track star, one of the fastest kids in the country, until she collapsed on the track one day and they found out she wasn't well.
@@williamshaw9047 yeah she was actually the 4th fastest kid in the country for her age group in the mile --- that is quite impressive considering how many kids are already great athletes by age 10

Vacation was exactly how those cross-country, family car vacations were.
Except we did it in a sedan with three kids, a dog, nothing but camping, and no fun destination at the end. Just turn around and drive home.
We drove from Los Angeles to Fairbanks, Alaska and back one year. That included a night spent camping in the parking lot at Denali. We and a large bear trap were the only ones there. We slept in the car that night. Amazing trip. Loved, loved, loved Lake Louise!!!
A round trip of more than 6,500 miles in 3 weeks!
As the youngest, I got the middle... always. Ugh...
The next year, we drove from LA to Key West, Florida by way of Yellowstone.
We drove up the 15, stopping along the way to see the sights, a la the movie.
Get out kids, it's the Great Salt Lake, the Grand Tetons, it's Old Faithful, it's Mt. Rushmore, it's the Dells, it's where Dad grew up, it's Chicago, it's the Mississippi, it's the Great Smokey mts, it's Charleston, it's Ft. Sumter, it's Cape Canaveral, it's Miami, it's Key West, it's the Everglades... look it's a baby alligator, it's Long Beach, Mississippi, let's get out and walk out as far as we can, it's New Orleans, get out kids, we're taking a paddle wheel ride, back in the car... it's Texas, it's Texas, it's still Texas, it's Santa Fe, it's Winnemucca, it's Needles... then, finally...LA and thank God we're home!!!
How many miles? 7k maybe? In three weeks!!! And the next Monday would be school.
I don't know how my Dad did all that driving.
I sure knew the states and love this big, beautiful nation. Thanks Dad. Miss you.

such a terrific panel. i must say i prefer the group panels. it's literally a group of old work friends reminiscing as opposed to a room of strangers interrogating an individual.
Agreed. The guests seem to have more fun when they're with at least one other person. There are only a few celebs I've seen that can do a panel on their own without feeling nervous.
Edit- gosh the lady’s comment about losing her mom and the special connection with Xmas Vacation literally made me cry thinking about my mom- she’s still with us thank God but it reminds us all how short and precious life is.. God Bless🎄🙏🎅🏼

No, DON'T skip National Lampoon's Class Reunion. That is one of my favorite comedy horror movies. It has such a great slasher look but is silly. I love that movie.
Beverly should start doing PSA's warning about the dangers of mixing wine and prescription drugs.

Real simple. LOOK THROUGH THE EFFING VIEWFINDER AND ADJUST!
That also requires seeing the stage, which she could not because of all the people there. She wasn't aware of everyone on the panel. It happens.

Why is it that every video I see of panels at comic conventions the audio is horrible with mics feeding back etc.? I work for a small a/v company and we could do a waaaay better job.

Would’ve been better without the shitty camera work; don’t know what was worse the shaky camera on Dana or AMH cut out of it. Beverly texting throughout, especially during the emotional comment that lady gave about the squirrel scene - so disrespectful! And Jason texting throughout as well, not to mention he looks awful and is apparently on something.

If you read, it was unintentional. The crowd was standing in front of the videographer and she couldn't see everyone on stage to frame it.

No, it was a framing error. The panel room was so crowded with so many people standing that the videographer couldn't see the stage to realize Michael was out of frame.

Ok, I chilled for two of these panels, but WTF is with sound on the panels? Major sound feedback every cast! Did you hire a high school kids as sound tech? Plus need a rule on panel audiences, NO Kids!!!

I just watched this to prove to myself Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid would not be in attendance.
Chevy was actually there at the con but apparently didn't do the panel. I met him and got the entire original Griswold family's autograph at this show. Randy Quaid didn't come but did come to another Steel City after this one.
And of course, no Chevy Chase - what as jerk.
Always thought Jason Lively was the worst Rusty and watching him today I see he wasnt acting..loL YUCK!! he was such a tool in this interview. He clearly think he is more important than he is...Miriam Flynn expressions when he is talking says alot..SHE was not impressed and didnt really look happy to have to sit next to him.

@@FandomSpotlitety. I was wondering myself. I was trying to google it but couldn’t find anything. I’m guessing the injury is not permanent.
@@informer i tried finding out that too it says she retired in 2013.
@@informer I'm not sure on the extent of her injury, but it appears to have gotten worse. In 2017, she appeared to use a walking stick to get around (judging by photos where the stick is beside her while seated). By 2019, she couldn't seem to stand well on her own feet, as there's a photo of her standing with Chevy, Bev, and Anthony Michael and he is literally supporting her weight so she can stand. She still uses the scooter shown in this video during a convention this year (2023). So I'm not sure what happened, but it seems she can no longer use her legs for some reason. Seems to have started a few years ago shortly after she turned 50 and it doesn't seem to be getting better.
She wrote a medium piece about her health problems, chronic back pain, fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, digestive problems, depression, and fatigue apparently.
I like how the cast is so annoying in the beginning by whispering among themselves. I'm like settle down already.
