Join us as we pour a set of concrete steps that nobody else would even bid. We had a couple of extra guys that showed up on this one making it VERY easy! Enjoy.
Ryan is definitely not your average concrete professional. He takes pride in his work and always does his best to make it look perfect. I wish they were all like Ryan. I recently had my patio stamped and we ended up paying only 80% as the job was done with no care and had numerous issues. So, we paid 80% of the cost and they accepted the outcome. It’s almost as if they knew they did a poor job. Ryan, you are the best barnone.
I love the happy music playing while youre laying it down....thats the same tune I have in my head while Im pouring and finishing.....most of the time......
I like how you guys actually make it a smooth finish. All the concrete contractors here leave the horizontal indentation lines and the surface is never completely flat.
Nice work. I always thought concrete was just a mixture of cement, aggregate and water. When you place the concrete order sounds like ordering Chinese food. 👍
Good job guys from the uk. Keep us entertaining and engage with your work. You are good, funny and dedicated man and boss. You are fair and honest with your people. Keep up the good work
Man I don't even know why I like watching your videos, I never poured concrete, I have no experience working in construction. Seems like the vibe in your crew is so good that it feels good to watch the videos. It even crossed my mind to start working with concrete, problem is that most of the companies need people with experience. If I'd live in the US I'd join your crew if you'd give me a chance. All the best!
i really enjoy your videos and the beautiful work. makes me remember how i would help my grand father doing side walks etc at his home. he was a jack of all trades and a master mechanic. plus he was also my parrin.
Isn't that the best feeling in the world when you come home from work and see your kids beautiful smiling faces instantly? That's what makes it all worth it. Love it!
I really don't need one all that often. I try not to sell too much work where I can't access but every once in a while. The next expensive purchase is not exciting, a new dump box on the Mack. 40K!
@@VictoryOutdoorServices I pictured you getting a "dingo" type machine next. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about. It's like a stand-up skid steer but with a lot of attachment options
@@VictoryOutdoorServices I'm aware. That's why I said "dingo type". I won't get caught up in the quotation marks.. but you know what I'm saying obviously. I currently do sewer and water but I've done concrete for years and those machines are unbelievable compared to what I've done over the years. What a Time saver!
Watching you guys do this job has been a real blast for me, because back when I was doing this kind of work, I can think of maybe two or three jobs that had concrete steps, practically everything was brick row locks around a porch with a brick step. It's great to watch you use those tools to get the steps looking great, I didn't even know that cove tool existed till I saw this job.
Ryan I work at UT in Knoxville, TN we do the trash for the campus. I can get you a day on the truck and doing recycle. We need to make this happen this winter. It can be just like the other videos you did over the winter just with Trash lol. We can show you how much garbage we make after a football game. Love your content man been here since video 15. Have a great day tell Autumn hey and Bugs is the best. Go Vols!!!!
A little tip regarding Darryl's hoodie being covered in grease... blue Dawn dishsoap. I promise. Wipe off as much of the excess grease as you can, squirt a bit of Dawn on the spot, dampen slightly, work it in and then throw it in the washer. In my personal opinion, it would be best to go and wash all the greasy stuff at a laundromat, so that it's not gunking up your machine at home. I can attest to how well it works. I am an artist and when I was having a gallery show several years ago, I realized my only artist's apron was covered in globs of oil paint. I spent an evening on the couch with my daughter picking off the worst of it, then I did as I said above to the spots, chucked it in the washing and it was perfect! There wasn't a single oil spot on that apron come time for the show.
I wish I lived in Wisconsin just so I could work for you.. been doing construction since I was 23.. been in it 16 years.. just need another 25-30 and I’ll be done .. hopefully my body lasts that long
I just watched a video about a man that restores pottery in Japan, he is sometimes called "The Godhand". The moment you said you were not satisfied with the stairway it made me think of how similar to "The Godhand" you put much effort into your work.
Hello mr Ryan and family and guys. Great video. Cute kids mr Ryan. Im a disabled man from south Carolina and i miss doing construction. Im disabled from back surgery and have to walk with a cane. I got rods screws and a plate in my back. Fracture of the spine. Your videos keep me from being depression. Love watching your videos. And other youtubers video. Could i please get a shout out on your next video. If your ever coming threw south Carolina love to meet you. Thanks for keeping me sane. I hope you have a great day and great week. Could you please tell the guys hello for me. And tell buzzs hello and hope he is feeling better soon. Thanks for your time and help. Your big fan johnnie b.
I was noticing that you leave the bottom edge of your 2x6 riser squared off. Is there a reason why you don’t cut the bottom edge on a 45° angle so there is not as much of a track to work out when you wreck the riser board off of the face of the step? Just wondering. Because that’s the way I always done it and it worked great for me.
Coming back to this video wondering if the lady paid yet. Imagine holding back money on a quality job I bet she wouldn’t do that to McDonald’s If they got her Order wrong
Gotta say I got the best grandpa out there, thanks for putting that in the video Ryan!
Haha awesome
Good to see Daryl stepping up this season! Hopefully he keeps it up when Bugs returns 💪🏽 Glad the Victory videos are back!
Ya sure
you act like you have known him his whole cat
career
Give it a month
A loser is a loser is what it is
If we only could have a Victory video everyday! Amazing how concrete work can be so interesting to watch!
Ryan watching your videos have given me the confidence to try and pour a small concrete slab myself … hopefully it goes well !
Go for it man, you got it.

Glad to see some real craftsmen who care about the finished product not just getting paid. 👌
The ending was my favorite!! As a father I can relate.

It’s all about coming home greeted by happy faces. Awesome job to your team! Easy money!
Keep up the hard work!!! There’s nothing better than coming home from my hard days of work to family!!!
Really like smooth radius of the stairs. Great job as always

Another beautiful job well done Ryan 👏

My Monday just got much better with a new video from you.
Good job, Daryl! Setting a good example! 🙏🏻
😂
I'm so happy that the season started back !!! Keep up the good work with everthing !!!
I love the fact Ryan post in the morning

@@sungazer603 😂 True!
I’m surprised you guys don’t have a mini excavator with all the tight spots you work in. I like that little bucket on the skidsteer very handy

@@VictoryOutdoorServices why do you run older dump trucks? staying away from modern emissions or just cheaper price tag?
Great video . End product is of a very high standard. You should be proud of your work.

Thank you for your videos
My wife and I enjoy watching you and the crew
We recently just started recording what we do on a daily basis
Glad to see your putting in post holes to hold the steps for the long run. that trick is as old as concrete is but very few use it.
I’m hooked on your videos, what great work you and your men do!
You know what works really well to vibrate those forms as well? A sawsall with no blade works like a charm...
Very hard work, you never hit your hand with the hammer and it’s easy money. Nice!
that kind of grease comes off with pine sol. give it a try. great to see you back in business!!!
Daryl’s wanting to step up and learn finishing? Could be diamond in the rough!
Concreter here from Sydney australia ! Love your work and the crew , nice set of stairs !

It's victory time..nothing like the smell of concrete
I’ve heard you say that you use tons of spray glue but never heard for what. Now it makes sense
Can't wait to see the final result! 💪🏻 EASY MONEY!

Ryan, I have to go in Tuesday may 3rd for a pretty serious surgery. I was hoping maybe I could get a shout out and possibly a prayer. Thanks Ryan
Those steps look great! What’s your opinion on the Kraft Orange Thunder float you have?
