Great aim and map control. How can i get the hits "BONK" sound that you have whenever your shot hits someone? Is that a plugin? Also, is there a setting where the enemy is so bright? I don't think i have seen such high contrast in regular DM servers i am playing

Can you suggest anything? What is "pugs" lol? And one more quick q - how would you suggest improving one's aim? Your snipe and shock level is impressive and i am painfully aware how much i lack in that dept.
@RustyShackleford556 it makes sense because lower fov = more zoomed in view by default which makes it easier to hit headshots and shockcombos because everything takes more screenspace. I play most other games on 120 fov but for me UT99 feels good on 95 fov.
Maps were designed with high speed low drag flow in mind. None of this metrics-based designed by committee/algorithm shit. Nothing was in the maps that didn’t add fun or value cool-aesthetic in some way. What was left is a pure experience of rapid duelling with others that required precision. You negotiated bad angles by traversal and using your FOV to engage your target and use tactics accurately. This made you feel like an actual player in the game rather than a moving turret like in contemporary games.

This is the default FOV in UT. Some players prefer wider FOV but many still play at 90
