Stonehenge was built around the turn of the twenty-first century after the military sealed off the area for a couple decades. They're masonic-propped displays of dupery. So is the sideshow known as the Great Pyramids and any other structured compound that's claimed to be ANCIENT.
IIRC the Heel Stone was one of a pair, so the sun would rise in between them, and anyway, the Winter Solstice Sunset facing the opposite direction was the more important event, so ideally people would be walking through the Heel Stones and watching the sun set in between the center trilithons.

Excellent model ad an excellent video.. @@hereliesmyreputation2559 Earth is not a perfect sphere. When it rotates on its axis (imagine a line that passes through the North and South Poles), it drifts and wobbles. This is known as polar motion. Measurements for the 20th century show that the spin axis drifted about 10 centimeters per year. Over the course of a century, that becomes more than 10 meters. In general, the redistribution of mass on and within Earth such as changes to land, ice sheets, oceans and mantle flow affects the planet's rotation. As temperatures increased throughout the 20th century, Greenland's ice mass decreased. In fact, a total of about 7,500 gigatons (the weight of more than 20 million Empire State Buildings) of Greenland's ice melted into the ocean during this time period. This makes Greenland one of the top contributors of mass being transferred to the oceans, causing sea level to rise and, consequently, a drift in Earth's spin axis. While ice melt is occurring in other places (like Antarctica), Greenland's location makes it a more significant contributor to polar motion.
umm no, stonehenge is (presumably) used as a means to calculate time and season, we already have the solution, so theres no need to rebuild the old stonehenge, it should be kept as is ,

Actually, there’s a myth about how Merlin stole the giant’s stones from Irish territory (an area that could be where modern Wales is today, as it was Irish territory at the time) and transported them to an area of England that seems rather analogous to where Stonehenge is today. And given that the inner circle (the taller stones) of Stonehenge matches material from that area of Wales, and that that region was recently found to have holes in the ground that matched the dimensions of some of Stonehenge’s inner stones, it’s theorized that the inner circle of Stonehenge was originally constructed in Wales, then moved to Salisbury later. So…giants and magick.
I've always been fascinated by how the ancients took Astronomy is an important discipline. Their whole life revolved around it. Apparently the Egyptian pyramids are aligned with the stars.

What an excellent video. So glad you brought out the importance of early farming, when to know the seasons are turning. When to work out your winter animal feed levels and feast.etc.
I think the stonehenge was used for watching stars and making lots of "festivals" during celestial events (not just solstice and equinox) :) I would like to make a modern one, just like I think it would be super cool to make modern pyramids too (both made of real stone). I think the pyramids were amplifiers, and on certain occasions, the different chambers were used for seekers of the inner self to encounter it in in a powerful way in such an energetic place.
The bluestones were transported by people not glaciers. Not only has the rockface where they were quarried been identified, but even the exact spot for each one; and some of the tools (wedges) that were used are still in situ.
There is a lot more known. The bluestones were part of an older stonehenge in Whales, much further north and east than Preseli. The people of that region had trade routes with the region where Stonehenge is now and at one point, they moved with their stones to rebuild their structure at the current site. They could have easily moved the stones on wooden sleds at around the speed of walking, meaning they could have moved the stones in a week over land, on the same trade routines used for centuries. Years later, Stonehenge underwent a "remodelling" whereby the large Sarsen stone structures were built and the bluestones were moved.
