Before finishing the rest of the invasion beaches, as requested by many, I wanted to make a video about the planning and preparation of the operation.
For those who don't know about it yet, Battle of Suomussalmi, which was the second best video of the channel was taken down by a Finnish institute because of copyright infringement. They claimed the ENTIRE video as their own and I even engaged a solicitor to get the video back online, but it was a waste of effort. The video will be re-edited and uploaded again in three months after the copyright strike has been lifted.

That sucks to hear. What institute was it?

@@linja5770 Probably the Finnish national broadcasting company, like the BBC but for Finland. Only a bureaucrat would request to take a great video down detailing the history of their own country.

British Prime Minister Churchill: “When the signal is given, the whole circle of avenging nations will hurl themselves upon the foe and batter out the life of the cruelest tyranny which has ever sought to bar the progress of mankind.”
Supreme Allied Commander Eisenhower: “The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man to man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty loving people everywhere march with you. We will accept nothing less than the full Victory! Good luck! And let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.”
United States President Roosevelt: “This day is set upon a mighty endeavor. A struggle to preserve our civilization and to set a free a suffering humanity. Our sons, the pride of our nation. Lead them straight and true. Their road will be long and hard. Men’s souls will be shaken with the violences of War. In this hour of great sacrifice, We shall prevail.”
Colonel Sink Regimental Commander of 101st Airborne: "May God be with each of you fine soldiers. By your actions let us justify His faith in us."
The men of the free world, who fought against tyranny, authoritarianism, and fascism, put forth and defended the ideals of democracy. Many of them fell and lost their lives but they shall live on in eternal peace for they have liberated the world.

Total rubbish. The Germans took no notice of Patton before D-Day.
