More than twenty years ago, in a small gallery in Cohasset Massachusetts where you briefly shared your work, you critiqued a painting I was working on. I had just laid it in tonally, loosely. I went into detail about how I planned to finish it. You told me it was done. I of course didn't believe you and overworked it to death, lol. I have thought of that gift of wisdom many times over the years and will always appreciate your eye and candor in that moment. Your ability to tell the story of someone or something in a way that allows the viewer to complete it is something magical. ❤
