I have a navi and I drive nothing but off-road and I drive on trails through a pasture and even through a worked corn field. The little bike does perform well, the narrow tires are not helping. But after I get the tires worn down, going to upgrade to some off-road style tires. If you are not in a hurry and want fuel economy, this bike does well. On a flat county road I have hit 48mph.
Had a deposit on one for my Gfs daughter * she saved for months to get a bike), the local dealers all wanted 3300 plus, needless to say i pulled my deposit, and decided not to get one.. the way dealers are acting, is disgusting.
In Costa Rica the local Honda dealer has the 2022 models for $2200. That includes all tax, plates, stickers, title and they even throw in a new helmet. It's too good to pass up. I'm getting one next month.
with this being a carb bike. when it dies out and you cranking it back on, you don't necessarily need to give it anymore choke, right since it's already warmed after riding it.
Pa Navi Nation here. I'm on a mountain. So far so good. Once it warms up I'll be doing some valley to mountain top videos. Mine does good on my very steep driveway.
This bike is not joke. Its a low maintance mini bike that you can drive on the road and i have fun with. Dont try to make it anything else. So many clubs, and groups love their Navis.
I’d carry an upjetted carb/aftermarket intake and put some Kenda or Maxxis Knobbies for this sort of terrain. That’s what I was thinking if I can get my hands on the Navi here in Vegas!
Definitely want to see so top speed runs with various weights of rollers/sliders. Maybe even performance of one vs the other. I want a ruckus but the price of this is almost too good.
I think a big bore kit would be fun, crying that we never had the Activa here but big bore kits exist for it, and given the same engine it should work, get it to 133cc technically larger then the Grom(still wouldn't be faster though but comparable at least)
I think the Navi is way more practical than the Ruckus as a city commuter, since it can more or less hang with traffic on stroads (surface arterials). I think aftermarket variator kits can get more out of the CVT on these little engines.
I was so happy to see the successful hill climb. Very much looking forward to see the Navi performance at Colorado elevations. I would like to see you guys put some offroad tires on the Navi. Also I am curious if you can adjust the foot break to have a rear brake bias in the linked brake system;, and the handlever to have a front brake bias, while remaining is remaining linked? I am very much looking forward to all Honda Navi action. Perhaps ruckus versus Navi on the traila. Be safe and have a great time. Thank you. I'll be watching no matter what you put out.
I want to see you do a standard grocery run, with some heavy canned items to see how it takes the weight of milk and other heavy grocery items, to see how it affects gas mileage and performance. Also if you have a friend that weighs 300 pounds or more I want to see how devastating it affects performance, gas mileage, and most importantly stopping also a two-person ride review like gf with a dude.
I drive a BWS 50 and weight doesn't effect performance as muchbas youd think onna small engine cvt driven bike. I rode with my 200lb friend on the back (I am 150) and the acceleration was still about 85% of regular.
From that startup i can say your not formule with carbs. You always fully choke at first. Blip the gas a couple times and bump it over. Adjust choke as needed. The Navi seems interesting. Wouldnt mind riding 1.
A class little bike. I’ve the 2022 grom and prob would never get this Navi tbh. But I’d rather have this little bike than the Benelli tnt any day of the week if I had to pick another mini
@Stepdad Wave grom is a bit better I've read comments saying they can get it up to 65 mph unlike the navi which is a scooter with identity issues and u Have to force it to get up to 50 if you can
I put a down payment on a Navi back in Dec 2021. Was informed I would probably have to wait until July 2022 to take delivery. It's May now & the AZ Dealership said the Navi is ready for pickup. Cost - Base Price $1,807.00, Freight $300.00, Set Up $100.00, License Fee $61.00, Doc Fee $290.00, Sales Tax $178.00. Total cost $2,736.00.
The front brake isnt link to the rear brake. Only the back brakes are linked.

It's a nice little bike but given the slew of choices that Honda has, starting with the Grom and the Monkey on the 125cc category, I'm not sure if this will be much of a seller.
I think it'll do very well in markets where the Grom is popular. Living in the city I see tons of delivery riders with Groms , as a cheaper alternative this might take it's place. The price point can't be beat
@@jamesgreen7084 Call a Honda Dealer. (Maybe) they'll let you pay for one. Good luck receiving it though. Your Son will probably be Graduated from College by then.
Carbs suck. The audience that this thing is aimed at doesn’t want to and won’t take the time to maintain it the way it should be maintained. This is marketed for the total newbie, just twist the key and go, and that’s not how it works. Dealing with a choke, and fuel cutoff? Total fail for Honda after the initial hype wears off.
Ok.. I'm looking at the Navi for it's fuel economy for a commuter.. but for off road fun on a "mini moto" I love love love my elchepo mini bike badged under many names.. mine is the Coleman.. even had it titled so I could get the off road sticker for public lands.. (Ohio) ... But I actually am torn between this and the monkey.... I like the monkey seat... But the Navi price... With the price of gas ... I have to get something
Not impressed. And unless your "campground" is on pavement and empty, it is hardly going to be a great campground bike. These days since EV's are becoming the rage, I would opt. for an EV bike in a campground setting. Frankly, I have no idea where this Navi fits into the world. Perhaps an emergency carry along bike on highway drives?

I got mine otd for $2,346. Not including tax/title.

I’d scour Facebook marketplace for a decent one in your area
The Navi would be more appealing if it sold out the door for $1800. Even the Honda name does not warrant $1000 over MSRP for the specs.
What??????!

It's the offspring of the Ruckus and the Grom. I can see Ruckus riders putting the Navi motor in a custom build since you don't need a manual clutch.
I've been waiting for a big 3 sport scooter for a while. China has had them for sale here (US) for a few years.
For the same price you could get the Broz 250 which has 5 speeds and a Honda designed OHV engine.

Came looking for this comment, hope they put a disclaimer somewhere
Thank you! You are right! Pulling the hand lever works the front brake. Pushing the brake pedal works both brakes.
Could you buy and do a review on the new Orion RXB 250? It looks like a quality bike for the money.
It's not really broken in so yeah it's not going to be really perky,
is posible to change the tires ? if i buy it i will used in dirty terrain
The wheels bend really easy, really really easy
OMG...you must have probs with your lawn mower! Riding with the choke on & on..and then some.... Happy trails all the same.
OMG……really….brave soul to load on you tube….choke on for xxxxx mins. Nuff said. Happy trails!
do you think the grom would do better on off road (on the dirt)
Yes. Having gears on dirt roads is very useful.
would like to see an EFI aftermarket for this bike

What is the Bode tag under your chin? How are you getting the sound to the gopro?
I read some complaints about the headlight and the brake light that flicker a lot, have you had a chance to experience any of that?
The only time I see an issue with the headlight is during a cold idle. It flickers minorly when you are a warm idle but it's not much of a concern.
It was only a matter of time. hahahaha! Great vid.
the bikes get well abused in my part of Asia seem to do alright, small lots fun. Seem a bit over priced where you are. price of freedom?
