I mixed this record. Lucky to get paid for this song from Creed & John Taylor, who then made me sue him for the rest of the album. Still owes me the 10G.
peabo reminds me of a black version of john denver. he's got a strong, clean, rangey and accurate voice .... but he just doesn't do anything with it most of the time. at least denver can write. that's his saving grace. this was a boring version of this song. doesn't come close to toto in selling it. the best thing he ever did was the duet with what's 'r face on beauty and the beast. hasn't done much since and that's why he kinda disappeared from the scene. lottsa talent, doesn't know what to do with it. and yes .... i gave him it thumbs down.
Beautiful song with "The Voice" of R&B, the Master Peabo Bryson, thanks Larry for having him in this masterpiece❤
I still love to hear this Peabo Bryson version. Makes my heart melt. So true. For my first love S.P.

Super Voices. Best singer...Peabo Bryson
I've always loved this song. In fact, I saw Bryson cover it about 38 years ago in concert! Great song. Thanks so much!😉👌🏾
