So much new blood in the dunk game now, it’s awesome to see the next generation start to step up. You’ve still got some OG’s in the game too, but these newer guys are truly the peak of training + genetics. THP strength training has been a huge factor, so it’s good to see a training team that is truly showing results for each individual athlete.

Age means less and less nowadays. Chen in china (dunkchen23) is 38 and doing eastbays over 5 people / windmilling from the free throw line. Jonathan Clark just turned 36 and had one of the best sessions of his life. Kilganon is 31 or 32 and still jumping over 48”. Isaiah is only 27. A lot of the older guys like young hollywood and staples are still hitting high level dunks

Jordan Southerland style is 3 levels higher than the rest of the guys. You can jump higher, train complicated techniques but you wont get the style unless you are born with it
I think style comes down to 2 things, for the most part: 1. Body type (long limbs, flexible torso, etc) 2. Vertical...if you jump higher, stuff just looks better I think there are some things you can consciously do to work on your style, but if you're born stiff, it's hard to change
@DunkademicsOfficial of course you can work on this but guys like 1footgod, Air Up There or Tdub are naturals and you can tell that after one simple tomahawk or slingshot :) Chris was also one of them when he was younger 😅

Donovan 100% biggest opening of this year, but Isaiah still do hard stuff. and about music, i understand that you live in United States, you dont have problems with war, but please dont use music with air raid alert(google translate, i think its called just siren), dont forget about the world, right now we have 40+ active wars, its can be super scary for some regions. i literally almost get heart attack cuz im from Ukraine

Looks like a lot of technical training to get high verts and do gimmicky dunks. Doesn’t look like a natural dunk that flows from a basketball move. Can any of these guys play basketball really well? If yes, why aren’t they in the league?

so, to be clear...the rims on those two dunks were low.

But both were still insane
