I all most gave up on making angels but you are great with these instructions I can follow you . Thank You now I can make angels. Your the greatest
Beautiful pattern! I've made several of these now and plan to turn into ornaments to gift to close friends going through hard times. Thank you!
My first angel your instructions help me to make my first angel. Thank You so much
Just did this to send to the husband of a friend of mine who passed from Covid-19 this was so simple thank you!
Exactly what I have been looking for. I see someone else needed really small angels for a very small tree. This is lovely. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this video! The little angel is so cute and I was able to follow your instructions to make it whereas with many others I was not!! 😘
Glad it was helpful! That's wonderful ☺️
So easy with your instructions, the angel is adorable. Thank you for sharing your skill. Happy Holidays!
It's cute, I like the size. Some other angels on youtube are bigger, just too big for small trees and I always had one of those small 3 ft trees that can be put on table instead of floor, etc. Since I living in small space, low income housing, I just don't have room for a tree so I make some ornaments for gifts or to hang around apt. Thank you for sharing your tutorials and making it easy to do!
I'm so glad you like it
Tip for next time! If a pattern is too big, just use a smaller hook size and/or thinner yarn than the pattern recommends.
In my case I wanted to make a snowflake but the one in the vid was nearly 5 inches wide- much too big for me. Pattern used 5.5mm hook w/ medium(4) yarn- I grabbed light(3) yarn and used a 3.5mm hook- it came out perfectly around 2.5in wide, without having to find a different pattern 😄🥰
I need one today. It went really quickly. Thank you so much! Easy for beginners. If I can do it anyone can do it because of your great tutorial.
I really loved your tutorial! So easy to follow! I enjoyed making the angels so much! Thank you. ❤️🇨🇦

Cute. They would work as very large earrings as well.
Brilliant tutorial, loving doing these & thank you for explaining everything so well as you go. I'd love to do one with different colour wings.. could you do one with how to join colours please? So glad I've found your tutorials, just beginning & enjoying these little project so much. Thank you again :-)
Loved making this, just had a little issue around the head. But practice makes it perfect.
Loved this tutorial. Thank you for sharing. The outcome is so cute.
Love it have to make MORE
Hi I had a problem following your directions I wrote them down and then what I ended up doing was making the head the body and the skirt at one go and then I came back and added each wing and the ends of the Wings I tucked under and around the body of the skirt so it makes it look like the wings are behind the angel and the head and the body and the skirt are in front when I did the wings I added an iridescent thread so the Wing Sparkle a little bit when the light hits it.
I need to try making these 👼🏻 thank you!
Lovely.
Thanks 🙏
I love the look of this angel, but why does one of my wings always come out backwards? I ha e followed this video step by step and do everything the same way but one wing always comes out facing the the back. Please help🙏

I wish you had a written pattern for this and the other things you've done tutorials on. I don't want to keep coming back here every time I want to make one. I'd happily pay for it.
You could've written it down yourself listening to her and watching this video so you can continue making this angel offline. I sometimes do that so I could remember how it was done but don't always understand my writing and screw up. Then I watch video again when I want to make another one. LOL!
@@joyous2kiss So true. She does make a point of saying she doesn't want people to do that, though which is why I said what I did. I may do it anyway because it's so much easier for me to work from a written pattern. I don't understand how this idea that a tutorial replaces the need for a pattern took hold. Do people not know how to write or follow them anymore?
@@KristinaL1698 I didn't know that, where did she say it? A lot of people can't read patterns, most of us learn by watching and some by listening as they watch or just listening for blind. I'm deaf and read captioning as well as watch how she does it. Had HappyBerry just crochet a few chains and skip ahead, or speed up, etc; I wouldn't be able to follow without subtitles to let me know how many chains she did or whether its double crochet or tremble, I almost get confused when she mentions both US and UK terms for her crocheting. However The Crochet Crowd has a video to help us learn to read patterns easier and am ever grateful for it because I have some nice patterns from back of yarn paper and seen old crochet books i may want to get sometime and learn to do from patterns. Also yeah, some people still can't read at all or a little, same with writing. Have a nice Holiday.
There is no reason for one or the other coming first, pattern or tutorial. My method starts with me writing down a basic design I come up with, in something that would illegible for most people to understand. These are then made into video tutorials or written patterns, or both, depending on how much time I have or what I feel like doing. Easier designs tend to become video tutorials and more complicated designs tend to become written patterns due to videos taking more time and effort to create. As I am committed to other things outside of HappyBerry, especially being a Mum, my time is limited so one or the other usually comes first, but eventually most video tutorials are eventually written down properly and uploaded to my website in a more coherent form, which this one will soon too. So if you don't see a written pattern immediately, just be patient. At least they're free is what I say! www.happyberry.co.uk
