@@robkunzig5795 Thanks Rob yes she's a real beauty. I don't know if you noticed but her cabin is 1ft longer so the cockpit is slightly shorter and all her lines come back to the cockpit a nice variation. Pt 2 out on Saturday, cheers Paul
Paul the great thing about getting together with others is seeing their ideas and creations! We all are better for it and likely what we or others might learn, might save us in one way or another. I'm having trouble waiting for part 2, can you tell?

Hi Dave yes we have been following it on our news here in Oz. It looks very scary, I don't know how people can live in Hurricane alley, it seems to be the same every year. I believe a lot of infrastructure still hasn't been replaced from Katrina and that was 20 years ago. Stay safe, cheers Paul
Thanks Steve. It was a very long trip to get there. I got new car brakes and trailer bearings are always a worry on such a long drive, but Neptune looked after us. Inver is the Goidelic cognate (Irish / Scots Gaelic). Pronounced Abb-erh in Cornish n Welsh. May see you on a raid after Xmas with one of the rarer Welsfords

I checked out Afloat in a Wooden Boat Sailing's channel and latest video...very nice boats! Just finished your video...very well done! Looks like some great friends, boats, and memories! I'm heading to the coast for what will probably be the final sail of the season on my Alcort Sunfish. Weather prediction looks pretty good! Around 70 degrees F and winds 10 to 15. Looking forward to next weeks video!
The charts book is called 'Beacon to Beacon' cruising Queensland waters but I have no idea if they make a US version. Send me a photo of you boat when you hit the water fair winds, cheers Paul

Next year I retire and the plan is to buy a Waarschip 570. 18 ft and a bit, wood. Plenty info and pics on the internet. Loads of people with Dutch roots in Australia. I wonder if you , or one of your mates, have spotted them down there.

My Daughter lives in that area, so was interested to see it from the water.
