She had one of the best final tribal performances ever. People underestimate how powerful it is in Survivor to understand your own game and understand people's perceptions of your game. Erika gave the exact answers that people were looking for at final tribal because she had a great understanding on the perception of her game. Too bad the editors did her dirty with a very poor edit, still confused why they chose to highlight deshawn's disastrous game and xander's (seemingly) unfavoured gameplay over their first female winner in 7 seasons.

Yes, he was deserving of the win but so many missed opportunities to take down Erika at the final episode but was so overconfident. Fatal mistake was when he didn’t throw Erika into the 🔥 🔥 🔥 . It was so gratifying to see the jury’s faces when he tried explaining Erika’s gameplay was shit when in fact it was brilliant. That moment sealed the deal Erika won.🤣
Erika said on the first interview that her favorite player ever was Todd. It's so poetic that she won lile that, because Todd is the king of the FTC.

Pre-Merge: Didn’t have a great edit, however was a known threat for playing low but she did know that was she on the bottom so a great read.
Jury: Always on the right side of the vote, went from the bottom to the top after voting off Shan, who was the biggest threat besides Ricard.
- She had a terrible edit, however I do believe she deserve to beat Xander and Deshawn simply because she can read the game the best. Congrats Erika.
What people don't understand is that confessional count is not all that matters but also the quality of the confessionals: the tone these confessionals imply.
Especially in post-merge, there was never a single confessional of Erika that was negative or showed any weakness of her game. Her confessionals coincided with game events, showed she had a great read and control over the flow of the game. Even the perceptions of other players on her is that she's consistently a THREAT.
As opposed to Xander who talks a big game but is ALWAYS contrasted/opposed by actual game events or other players' confessionals. And there was an episode where they literally called him a non-threat hence they weren't targetting him
The matter of concern shifted. Back in the day, scheming and planning r frowned upon but now celebrated while not doing that is deemed the opposite. Shows how a shift of perspective change things up
They screwed her with the edit… shes done lots of strategic moves as well as social moves that weren’t seen.
If she did they likely would’ve been shown to make her a more satisfying winner. as no one expected her to win in the first place for example in winners at war tony made so many big moves they didn’t show the many other moves to make sure he’s not a super obvious winner just watch his post game interview.

All of the post game interviews confirm she was better positioned wise and made more moves than shown, she’s just edited this way to build suspense

@@alokinale2074 she got her edit in post merge, but because she was near damn invisible in the pre merge edit, her overall edit is labeled as unsatisfying. Please read post game interviews of Heather. It showed why Heather and Erika, got very few edits in the pre merge, despite them being able to reach final 4 together.

She's an amazing player! Her game is the game I wanna play if I ever get on the show.
Shan noticed her strategy but this girl is thinking way ahead of shan.
Those hating on her or not recognizing her is because she is mild mannered person. Her strength is not obvious. But the way she cunningly and silently outsmarted is the key. The jurors recognized it and some here don’t and are harping on it.

If I had to sum up my thoughts, Erika is a deserving winner who received an undeserving edit. The fact that she won the game almost unanimously and received such little content is genuinely confusing to me. There are so many jurors that voted for her to win but I feel the edit never showcases why they do (I am mainly referring to the Yase's here). She had a great end game and she did so well at final tribal.

Most of her moves just happened to be luck: after the hourglass twist, the alliance of luvu and shan started to crumble when they cannibalized each other. erika survived not bcoz of her gameplay but for the actions of others. On this premise shes just like xander, but xander made plays. Their perceptions that hes not a threat is erroneous bcoz he had a hand in voting off ricard, saving eevie, destroYed illana advantage.if anything, xander shld be the one they perceived as threat but for some reason in this season anyone that doesn't scheme is not a threat. While ten season ago ppl like xander would have been voted off early.
@@l_ifeefi_l1998 I understand but I would not discredit and hate Erika that much. She has 2 immunity wins and broke the hour Glass and not she was just part of the top 3 because of pure luck. I like Xander's game but he lacks the social part of it. 41 seasons after and everyone should know that social part of it is very crucial. Erika also planned in splitting the vote when Shan got eliminated. I like Erika, my second choice would be Ricard.

Her and Ricard clearly played the best games. I don’t understand the Xander’s out here thinking he should’ve won over her. Y’all respect gameplay right? Erika clear dominated the endgame picking off everyone up until f4 vs someone who rode coattails the entire game.

They did Erika dirty... she was never given any decent screen time. She said on the final episode she was pivotal in removing the biggest threats end game. Where was the footage in all of this. If Danny and Ricard said that Erika had a really fantastic game. WHERE CAN WE FIND FOOTAGE OF THIS THIS ENTIRE SEASON! If they were all rooting for Erika come final tribal. Where were the footage in all of this to merit that applause. They wanted to give more screen time in useless advantages more than strategic gameplay. They had advantages and idols one after the other that the ruined the game.
They wanted diversity and they got a minority winner.... and she was not given due respect as they were giving too much screen time to SHAN, XANDER, RICARD and DESHAWN! They went too political that they lost 2 million viewers.... that says much!
Erika was a strategic player and her edit seemed she was just a lame goat that was dragged to the end. If everyone in the jury except one voted for Erika. Then it means she has done something good in their eyes. Where was the footage of her talking strategy to any of the players??? NONE! She talked strategy with Deshawn and it blew in her face... So that's it??? You made her seem the worst winner by doing that.
They were putting emphasis that it was the hardest season? Does the Survivor producers think we are all that stupid. Less than 2 weeks is not the HARDEST by any means. There were seasons where storms lasted for weeks. There were days were the heat is so unbearable they had to medevac some people with fear of heat stroke. These things were not seen in this season.
I hated this season with a passion! The editing was sooooo bad! And the winner was not given any due respect for her gameplay. SMH!

Erika really played good game, being a shadow, split votes on Shan, and always in the majority with heather whatever the dynamics is. This is why she won Survivor, Xander should keep Deshawn instead and Erika Heather tie breaker

This is exactly what I thought, I don’t know why people think she won due to a woke jury. Xander was such a white knight at the final seven tribal and kissing so much ass and before that Evvies and Deshawn banked his entire game on the black vote and crying. Erika actually was playing strategically and had an argument to actually win other than the other two who wanted to be pitied
