Every Single Advantage Play in Survivor

- This is a compilation of every single advantage played in Survivor.
This does NOT include Hidden Immunity idols, or challenge advantages/disadvantages. That would've made this video way too long and i consider idols to be their own entire category.
1:31 and 3:20 - "Why don't you explain what the advantage is" is the same clip. Had I never seen this, I wouldn't have known, but you can hear Stephen faintly saying "Okay" in the background in both. Pretty cool. It makes me wonder how many times editors have reused voice clips across seasons. I'm sure there are many.
WOAH. you're right. KR was actually filmed before, so it might've been the KR version in place in the cambodia one. i think they probably use this technique a lot
Woah how did you notice that
They do this a lot, it’s a reason a lot of people think the show is rigged. They do it with confessionals, challenge descriptions, votes, etc. In reality though, it is strictly for TV purposes, the show is not rigged,
@@KevinGetchell you couldn’t fake this shot anyway and if it was this is the greatest fake show ever
Yeah likely the Cambodia audio was just too difficult to hear or some other issue that they had to reuse the audio
Other advantages: "Steal a vote" "Legacy Advantage" "Immunity Nullifier"
Jeremy's advantage: "aight ima head out"
Jay played the "Steal a steak" advantage
21:25
that's the most powerful advantage (Jeremy's)
@@maccanieso4540 Actually, I think the most powerful was played in Australian Survivor.
It functioned like the safety without power, but can instead be played on someone else. Like imagine how wild the tribal that Jeremy used that at if he was able to send Sarah back to camp, thus giving his side 5-4 numbers
@@random_jae5886that’s crazy good but it can also backfire horribly
Jeff: This IS an immunity idol
Dan: 😄
Jeff: and THIS is the idol nullifier
Dan: 😧🙁
And the smile on Carl's face cause he had the nullifier
Carl: Bing
“That is not an advantage” Devon Pinto
Rivals Parvati's "That's not fun" to the Bottle Twist
AHAHAHHA I was laughing so hard omg the way he said 😂
Jay's advantage play with so respectable and classy! I hope he comes back to play again someday!
i loved jay in that moment. He used the advantage without hurting Dave's feelings and just simply chose Adam because he gave Jay the advantage.
Jay might not. He may want to but right now he's wrapped up with MTV'S The Challenge. In an interview he said that if he was offered to go back on Survivor but that meant he wouldn't be allowed back on The Challenge he would stay on The Challenge
@@captaintalon4485 why can't they allow him to go back to the challenge if he goes on survivor again?
@@survivorfandan_sa9 Probably due to having a contract with MTV

Good he sucks as it turns out
@@adamsbriee6330 True
He will be voting for Joe
Mama
Joe will be voting for Joe.
And
Stephen will be voting out Stephen.
isnt it amazing how vast majority of these advantages backfired or didnt do anything to change the outcome
Does no one understand, if you have 2 votes, cast them both for the same person!
Sarah and Nick understand. They both played it correctly.
Tai used them both on the same person and it still didnt work. Also Sarah split it in Winners at War 1 on tyson 1 on denise and it still worked
Didn’t it only work for Stephen though?
@@adamsbriee6330 no he got voted out
@@aspensky5 i meant to say “didn’t it only not work”
I think the title should be “Failed Plays on Advantages”
Wouldn’t have been failed if Mike kept his auction total at $500 & if Stephen voted Abi Maria twice.
@@ericzubyk2329 or if Sarah voted for Tai instead of Michaela forcing a tie
@@mattng2761 No? Sorry, but Sarah's target was Michaela. And she got her out, no ambiguity there, she got to the end and won following that.
For real
No😂
Tony’s extortion scene is simultaneously my favorite and least favorite scene of all time
Extortion not Distortion. Same effect, different name
@@gengarcrobat1576 My bad
He went from excitement on using the advantage to womp womp womp 😆😅😂
Janet was the most robbed by and advantage out of anyone in this game. The late game inclusion of the nulifier totally wrecked her game.
The worst part was it was won by Dean via a literal coinflip.
I think Cirie was the one who was really robbed by an advantage.
If there is a immunity idol at this point there can be a nullifier.
Cirie is the most robbed, without a doubt. Janet is up there though.
@Peter McGill true, or have it be whoever was voted out at 5 to choose between fire or vote, that way it's to prevent a ben win while leaving people like Wentworth to possibly make it to the end, cause I'll bet you money if Cambodia introduced this twist and Kelley won cause of it not as many people would have complained
2:30 I was dumbfounded at why Fishback didn't double up his vote. He voted for Abby AND Joe. Why not put two votes on Abby or two votes on Joe? Strategically, I thought this was the absolute dumbest use of an advantage in Survivor history.
The scene between Sarah and Jeremy playing their advantage is so fun LOL
The sportsmanship in some of these clips is so good. I just love how much spirit the castaways play with.
Jessica's reaction realizing what the Legacy Advantage was is priceless and still heartbreaking LOL
WHY
“That is not an advantage”
*shocked pikachu face*
The suspen is not only to the survivors, its also to Jeff. Kinda funny when they interrupt him while walking or talking. Lol
Dan using his advantage and being promptly voted out seems 🌠correct 🌠
So let's get this straight-
Devon played the "get fucked" advantage better than half the people played their extra votes
"Another Visitor!" The way Jeff says that 😂 23:37
The idol nullifier play against Dan was so sweet to watch
Say what you will about the advantages, but they’ve created some really fun tribal councils!
Can't deny that
Dom played the legacy advantage right. Would've been absolutely useless at 6 and he kept his idol under wraps
Cirie was robbed
Honestly!!! They should have at least not eliminated anyone on that tribal and then have two eliminations on the following tribal.
That extra vote play by Debbie is honestly underrated
Except that Ozzy already had 6 votes locked in, and Andrea and Zeke were targeting each other, so it wasn’t necessary
i *NEED* that advantage
It worked😏
It is funny to see that the majority of these plays had zero impact on the vote and only either put a target on someone for having it or did nothing. Kinda makes you think that advantages aren’t necessary 🙃. Only one that is really relevant is the idol nullifier which is 2/2, but only works out when you know they have an idol.
And the best advantage survivor made strategically is ironically is the worst advantage audience wise. Go figure
Tony's extortion was epic😂
Thank Natalie and Parvati for that
Are you playing the Coin for yourself?
Jeremy: 👁️👁️
POS Dan voted off was the most satisfying of ANY Survivor episodes
10:57- Is probably what you are here for.
I haven't watched any of the newer seasons (didn't even know the show existed until 5 months ago) and I started from the beginning... What the hell is all this
I really disliked the "vote a juror out" advantage. I mean good on Michelle but I'd be so pissed if I was the recipient of that one lol. Same with the idol nulifier. Hopefully they can reduce the amount of idols in general so there won't be a need for it anymore in future seasons.
I love the idol nullifier 😂😂😂Only if played correctly, of course!
The fifty fifty coin was ridiculous....I mean, she barely tossed it
Ikr
Also kind of upset with the Elaine advantage just because I would have loved to see Aaron get Blindsided at that tribal. Nothing against the play though
I'm still not sure why Sarah didn't steal Michaela's vote, since Michaela was her target, or why Jessica used the vote block on Devon and not one of the two Heroes on Levu (since Devon could have voted with Joe and Desi).
Jessica knew Joe had an idol, so blocking the swing vote and forcing a 2-2 split basically forces him to use his idol.
Sarah wanted flush one of Tai's idols if he had one
I think some of the advantages are pretty fun-like safety without power or the idol nullifier. But I do agree that there should be a limit to how many idols can be played at tribal council AND I find redemption island/edge of extinction/fire tokens kinda ehhh. Just give me straight up eliminations.
10:06, Zeke just bouncing around in the background made my dad
“I’m ready to vote”
“You’re good. Jeremy, are you good?”
“NOPE!”
Jeremy always says “bad move” when something’s done against him. Bad move for his game maybe, not for the other’s.
true
Those first two advantages didnt work out so well
Then Sarah aka “the only person who used the extra vote correctly” came in
@@adamsbriee6330 Nick?
@@aviraes she was first before nick who did his and I’m mocking her bc she quotes a lot that she was the person to play it correctly
@@adamsbriee6330 Ohhhhh okay lol

love how some of then backfired
I bet they’re going to do the jury removal thing from 32 in Survivor 42.
It’s the second comment like this that I’ve read. Why do you guys think so?
dans face when the advantage was played went: : ) to :I to :(
I've been watching this show for like I my whole life almost in Jeff has ever aged a day
what’s the point of an immunity idol when they have a nullifier???
Simple. They have to guess who it's gonna be used on. Idols can be used on anyone, not just the holder. If the guess is wrong, you will not get the nullifier back.
That nullifier was the death of dean’s million bucks.
it was cool until the cirie boot...then got cool again
is it just me or is the music at 18:54 HELLA distracting ?
It sounds like bad 2000s pop rock vocals in a different language
Debbie's extra vote is technically a waste. Ozzy was gone anyway
Jeremy is single Handedly one of the greats to play survivor PROVE ME WRONG
That doesn’t make sense
@@B-Mag his style of play
@@justinvanveenar2953 I mean you used "single handedly" unnecessarily. Jeremy is one of the greats for sure
@@B-Mag ok...
@@justinvanveenar2953 Yeah, Haha, It doesn't make much sense to add the word "single handedly," since he did acquire certain people to help him as allies
If you ever have an extra vote you play smart and use it in the final 3
Not allowed lmaooo
@@worthplayingfor2197 lol, guess if i watched the show id know that. Lol does the extra vote or advantage ever actually work out?
@@zaizoesclashing7103 i cant remember a time where the extra vote has been so important to a vote
@@zaizoesclashing7103 Final 6 is the last time to use a steal a vote advantage. I think it's the same for an extra vote and vote block but not sure.
It bad to use a advantage and still get voted out. It worse when your idol been nullified.
I still think the Jury Removal twist in Kaoh Rong is one of the dumbest things ever
i agree because if it actually made a difference at the end id be pretty pissed but if it didn't then its just unnecessary
@@worthplayingfor2197 Definitely. And Neal was a strong talker, and this was still in the era of jury speeches. So it could have mattered, especially if...
-Jason flipped to Aubry (Which he said afterward he should have done; he believes he voted for the wrong person)
-Neal was still there
That would have created a 4-4 tie, which Tai would have broken, and he definitely would have given it to Aubry.
The first advantages. I'm glad you don't have to announce it now that you have an extra vote! Kinda gave others time to plan
What about advantages for challenges like Danni in Guatamala or Cochran in Caramoan
Danni's was actually a free win, once all the players were secluded in the challenge, just swap with whoever has the most moves available to them. Completely broken advantage and arguably the easiest challenge win ever besides the Thailand flags challenge which Sook Jai somehow still lost.
Sarah an advantage queen
I like how they do the whole cast the vote bit for the jury elimination instead of just having her say which one she wants eliminated.
I feel like when the era of all these advantages started is the moment when Survivor jumped the shark! I’m still pissed about what happened to Cirie!
11:30 why is this here?? It’s clearly not an advantage
It is, but it's used *against* Devon
advantages played in episodes even BEFORE the train one to get out cirie
could you do survivor all sponserships?
good idea
@@worthplayingfor2197 thanks I would love to see that
Tony was sounding like Pitbull

He loss it all when he use the nullifier against Janet idol
9:24 tai: I KNEW IT!
I love the idol nullifier
The legacy advantage is op
It’s funny but I forgot about all of the advantages from Winners at War and it was only 4 seasons ago. I guess my short term memory isn’t working or I’m just getting old. LOL!!!
Michelle and Stephanie from survivor Palau they are siblings?
Why Fishbach needed to split his 2 votes? He could’ve voted JOE 2x so he can even force a tie lol
no he still would've been voted out because spencer flipped so even if he voted for joe twice he would've been out
@@worthplayingfor2197 But at least he tried to force it and advantage not totally wasted. And also, he won’t look dumb if he did lol
EXCUSE ME
the way he says it cracks me up
It almost sounds rude😂
It would be dope if Jeremy advantage was a immunity necklace nullifier. Survivor needs to create that
Lmao that would be the end of the game😭😂
@@MirrorSelfies naw cuz they got one for the hidden immunity
To undermine something present in the very fabric of the game would surely destroy it.
@mercedeswilkins5566 Hidden immunity is one thing. That's a chance find and has a chance of failing even when played.
An Immunity Necklace is a reward for winning a challenge, Being able to nullify that would not only make said Challenge pointless but also destroy the game, and in the end, Challenge Beasts would most likely never make it to FTC anymore. So the game will lose an entire type of players as they'll be able to be voted off willy nilly.
Joe will be voting for joe
Some advantage can be disadvantages
They need to bring back vote a jury off and then creat something call a jury battle back.
It didn't sow the advantage in edge of enxinxtion
They need to bring back the vote a jury out
Good luck adding season 41 and 42 haha

yea i decided not to put those because it would've made the video way to long and if i included the advantages but not the actual challenges it would've been too much filler

She should’ve already been laughing as neils vote if he was on the jury wouldn’t have mattered
why tell the people you're adding a vote. Makes no sense to tell the group. Glad they changed this. It's stupid!
Disagree but yea I get it
@@worthplayingfor2197 Am I correct that they changed this? That now you don't know if someone has an extra vote. Takes away the surprise by announcing it before the vote.
It got too convoluted with all the advantages. Idol nullifier is particularly stupid. It just got too complicated.
didn't lauren played an advantage in HvHvH?
