Thanks for covering the Dutch situation. I would love to have multiple passports but renouncing my Dutch passport before I’m able to have multiple passports doesn’t feel logic to me. So I started the clock in several countries by collecting resident permits so that I have the opportunity to obtain in múltiple citizenships in the future.

@@Patrickwang2235All I can say is that Chilean citizenship is 100% worth. It's definitely difficult to get it (at least 6 years..) but is the best passport in Latin America (you can travel to the US, Europe, UK without visa.. etc)
@@seipollo yeah, really hope that sometimes they role out a Chilean citizenship by investment, but I guess under the current left wing government that’s not really likely to happen

it's because you are holding 1st world passport, try using Nigerian or Vietnamese passport and you will see this passport is worth every penny

My main worry about these citizenship by investment programs is that eventually the UK and Schengen Area might just outright ban passports that you can 'buy', the UK government has already been disapproving of it and some EU countries feel the same.
So you might invest 150k into a citizenship with access to Europe now, but in 5 years time you don't know if you'd still have that access.

There's no such thing as EU passport.

Depends where you come from if it's worth it IMO. Most EU/Canada/NZ are fine without it. Easier and cheaper to get residency and or second passports.
