- I just wanted to make this video to help you all with Bikeberry’s customer service. I am not making this video to bash on them. If you order products from them, just make sure to check it over 3 times asap!!! You will only have a short time frame to get help. With that being said, they are sending me replacement mag rims. I’m just unhappy with how much time and effort it took to have them finally say they would. If you need to send them videos, make sure you submit it over there live chat. It took me a little over a month to complete this process. I’m very happy with the F-Zero they sent me, just not the rims that came with the bike. I hope you all the best and ride safely!
Gemini Wheels for the win!! Best wheel on the market, bar none! Well worth the extra $$. I have five sets and they are awesome.
@Rideon187 Yes, sir!! I'm going to pick up a rear wheel today. I'm done screwing around. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I should have bought them from the start!!
5 sets that’s awesome bro
@Littleevil9975 thanks brother.... but I'm an idiot on trashed them... after thinking about it, I feel I could have pressed the bearings back in and they would have been fine... I guess live ans learn.
they needed to put better adhesive on those decals
@@larryshaver3568 I agree there! 100 💯 percent!
i've trued rims they have to be done cautiously
@@larryshaver3568 I agree 👍. Truing rims isn't for the faint of heart. It's a skill and a little bit of an art 🎨 in my opinion.
My carborator jet is giving me problem so am gonna buy an bigger carborator soon
@cjbroderick171 Good luck! Let me know what you end up going with. I've been enjoying my Nibbi PE19. They are going for about 36 bones on Amazon right now.
Cool looking but we'll see!! also love the baby music in the background 😅
I've had pretty good luck comunicating with them on their chat feature, but sometimes they do forget about you and you have to stay on them. Glad you go it sorted out! That steel rim was not fixable! I bet they had some one hand pick that last set they set, I wonder how many boxes he had to open to find a good one!
@skipstalforce blhahahhaa Skip, I bet you're right!!!! The last set I got is pretty good, I will say. Yes, you do have to keep on them. I was on the phone 3 times plus about 30ish emails by the end of it all. They did send me 3 full sets, so I can't complain about that, but dam mate... 😳 it just wasn't fun balancing that with work, dad life, and other activities. I'm just going to put them on the shelf for now and move forward with a rear gemini rim...
"Yard art" for the unused ones?😊
@awakenotwoke2643 That's a dam good idea 💡 👏 👌!!
Yes I agree 💯% I told you about my experience
@mikemiller3303 Yes, you did, Mike. Should have listened 😅😅😅. I'm just done with bikeberry...
Thanks for the update on the situation 😮
@Jarrod_D Thanks, brother, nothing but honest est reviews here 👍
This is the same set I have on my oldest bike never had a problem with them.... pulled the decals off the day I got them where people run into the most of the problem with these aluminum cast wheels is when they beat the bearings in and not pull them in or press them in just my opinion only ......never had a problem with them.
@KevinTodd I think you hit the nail on the head, Kevin... I really feel they beat the bearings in. I ended up taking the bearing and axles out of 2 sets, and they were pretty beat up. I believe the bearings were seated wrong, and that was the over all issues. Regardless, I'm just going to get a Gemini real rim and call it a day 😇. Thanks for your input 🙏
Hey everyone, I had a very interesting phone call with bikeberry yesterday. I will be posting a video about it tonight. Thanks for all the support 🙏 ❤️.
Have you rode those style mags yet or before? Jw cause I have a set but never used them yet. I like mags way more then applied wheels cause they are just always straight n more stout but I get only the 3 spoked blade type mags cause I find them stronger. But what are you doing with the “junk sets” not the other stiff comes with them just the mags. I’m just curious if you are style going to try them or junk them or what. I wonder if the in trueness of them is in the mold of them or in the axle since they are sealed bearing. Idk I just enjoy messing with that kind of stuff to see if it’s fixable and I can’t help wonder why they are how they are and I am also always curious if they are strong enough cause those 10spoke seem stronger then the 5 or some 6 spokes but they don’t feel stronger then the 3 spoke just from holding them and touching them. Maybe you can get them tried some how by tinker with them.
@JMB676 my man! I have not ran them at all. I'm a little hesitant to put them on a bike because they are a little more flimsy than I expected. I'm wondering if I should have gone with the 3 spocked mags... a lot of people, including you, have said 3 spoked mag are stronger. I would love to play with them and see if it was just missed aligned bearings. I ended up taking the axles and bearings out mostly just to see how they worked. I did end up trashing the other 2 sets of mags.... might have been a bad move, but I was a little pissed off at the time. My life problem is that I work a lot of overtime 🙃 😅. So, free time to myself is limited. I work a lot of 50-hour weeks.. so it gets a little tricky balancing work, dad life, and motorized bicycle plus the UA-cam game 🎮. 😅😅😅. I'm sure you are well aware of that lifestyle 😉. I think my end move will be to pick up the Gemini rear rim and just sit on the mags for a bit. Thanks for all your content 🙏. You have really taught me and others a lot beother.
Go Gemini and don't ever look back. And no, this is not the worst costumer service in this industry.
@leonardarola yep! I'm looking at getting Gemini rims today. I will pick up the rear rim and finally be done ✔️. I'm sure there is a worse service out there, but I didn't enjoy working with bikeberry at all...
Amazing how a wheel can became the biggest headache of the entire project, isn't it?
I'm probably going to go Gemini once I reach the point I'm ready to build a gas frame
@kingti85 I couldn't agree more with you about rims!!!! I truly feel that when it comes to this hobby, working on the rear wheel plus chain alignment is the hardest part. Keep me posted on your build! I just ordered my Gemini rear wheel today 🙃 🙂. Just a heads up, you will have to pay shipping and it's about 55 bucks.
Moterbike Mike here How much do you want for the bad rims and mags? I'll buy them for the right price
@bonitajester3034 I'm a dum butt and trash then.... I should have kept them 😭😭😭😭😭
