You guys both work so hard and devote so much time to this endeavor that I hope you take at least a few minutes of each day for yourselves. Self care is so important. I wish that the richest people would care about animals & birds the way you guys do. It always seems to be the struggling ones who have the biggest hearts so full of compassion for the less fortunate in our animal kingdom. So, my curiosity was killing me and I had to go do some research when you said that Hazel was urinating on everything including her food and water. Well, evidently foxes do that to claim their property and mark it as theirs. Evidently, it's something they do in the wild too. So she's just trying to say "It's all MINE!" 🤣🤣
Hey sweet tea is an important food group!!! Jet is my favorite animal…such wonderful ears! Glad he’s safe with ya’ll! The common sense of some pet owners leaves a lot to be desired. Romanticizing nature is absurd…the term “red of tooth and claw” is very accurate. Your nit freeing the animals…condemning them to living in fear and a cruel death.
Love the daily vlogs. I love seeing the progress of the sanctuary coming together, and I just love seeing the Coatis and now the foxes. Keep up the great work you two 👍

They say the bat ear foxes can hear bugs moving in the ground because of their ears, i wonder if Fennec foxes can also since their ears are so big? The place is looking great :)
Hi Chris and Gabby, love the vlogs and a work you are doing. So wonderful! Got two questions: are you going to put in a backup generator for the food shack? On the gator ponds: Tyler Nolan said his county won’t let him use concrete for gator ponds because after a few years it leeches deadly chemicals for gators. What do you know about this? Is your county different? Are you using a different concrete? Love the rescue foxes
We already have a backup generator, and that’s first I’ve ever heard of leeching, every park I know of has at least one concrete pond with gators in it without issue.

I bet every new bit that happens is just so exciting. 😂😂 Do they smell as strongly as wild foxes? 🤢 I live in Manchester, uk and there’s a colony of parakeets nearby. They’ve lived here for years. How they survive in our cold winters but they do. The problem now is that the colony is growing and spreading. So it’s slowly becoming an invasive species.
Before you said, "No one wants to watch me buy food, at Walmart," I was thinking it would be nice to do one video for this, to show what you have to do to keep everything going, etc. Most people don't know how much it costs to keep this going. Obviously, you already disclosed how much it costs to build stuff, but to keep everything fed...
the fence plans for the alligator enclosures looks so good! I think the wood at the top will not only be safer but will look really nice. Thanks for all the great vlogs. It is so nice to see a glimpse of what it takes to care for these gorgeous animals.

I would ask your vet about glucosamine for the foxes, like you said they have never had the ability to have proper movement of there limbs! I would assume there muscles and joints have not properly developed!! Just a thought!!

the wooden top on the fence will also make it easier for a human to pull themselves up and jump over if ever one has to very quickly 😅
