Tatum is one of the most disrespected players in the NBA. I don't get what everyone's problem is with this guy I think people just hate on him because they hate the Celtics as a whole because we can also talk about how the Celtics get disrespected and hated on by everyone even tho statistically they're one of the best teams in NBA history but everyone hates a winner especially if you win to much and we all know the Celtics do a lot of winning. Sure you might be able to point out some little flaws in his game here and there but you can do that with every player in history it's still not a reason to hate on him the way everyone does.
Tatum became the 6th person to lead their team in points, rebounds and assists on their way to a championship.. He's the only one of those six to NOT win the MVP... Go look up the other 5 if you want (hint: they're all superstar hall of fame players)
Jayson Tatum has a chance to win more championships for himself & for the Boston Celtics in the future. Plus he could still win now but who is going to 🛑 him & the Celtics this season.🤔
I noticed that. They can't call him a choker anymore because he has a ring. So, they moved on to corny. Please, Tatum is no cornier than Jimmy Butler, Giannis or Shaq.
He is a kid paying homage to the greats he respects. But y’all unhappy bunch will keep nitpicking on what you deem cool, the kid is on his way to a top 10 hall of fame career. Keep hating while winner win 😅
Exactly he was brush that first making mistakes and doing the Michael Jordan‘s thing and just not passing the ball to his teammates But like every great NBA player he improved and he learned that he doesn’t always need to hold the ball in his hands in order to win because in basketball everybody’s gotta touch the ball because that way you can generate confusion and score more points that way
I don't understand the crazy hate against Tatum. But in terms of the Olympics. Respectfully it's a team of all stars and glue pieces like Derrick white and jrue holiday. Tatum skill set is really good and yes he could've put him in in every game. But realistically he wasn't playing well, he couldn't shoot. And the position he played had bron, kd, and bam who in this case all 3 of them had more impact and was huge in winning games. He wasn't needed as much. On team USA every member needs to understand that they don't need to carry hard like they do with their nba team. All stars are also role players and you have to accept your roles for a common goal.
People just hate how successful he’s been in a short span since coming into the league, he’ll just keep on winning and the haters can keep being low life’s
I get Jayson Tatum gives off poser energy and playing for Boston never helps in terms of rooting for players... But it's not the greatest look for the fan base that a relatively unobjectionable dude gets more hate than Miles Bridges.
You can tell that he has matured and improved after gaining experience with a consistent playoff appearance and winning the ECF. The way he plays now is so different compared before. He does not force iso plays, wastes too much time with the ball, and has been more consistent with his shooting (especially his 3’s). His haters are basically fueling him and will get better in the coming years. Oh and thanks to Steve Kerr!
well i'll just sum up why people hate tatum (coming from a TRUE celtics fan, im not tatum glazer) 1. celtics fanbase is toxic, nobody likes the celtics 2. tatum have ultimate silverspoon/golden child treatment, always able to avoid being held accountable for his inconsistency in playoffs. (hes only 19,20,21,22,23 jokes) 3. meanwhile a more consistent jaylen brown gets blame for everything despite being the most consistent of the jay duos. while tatum gets away 4. celtics struggle for a short period for consistency. breaking up jays was a topic, however, jaylen despite being the more consistent player of the duo by far is always part of the trade rumours instead of more inconsistency tatum caused the fanbase some tensions. 5. corny celebration and copying everyone else 6. the mistreat of brown and golden child tatum being glorified has divided the fanbase as well. which makes alot true celtics fan hate on tatum well there you have it. and you guys just ignore smart bs. that guy has been back the celtics for years. boils my blood to see smart on the court
@johnrouguine3090 i hatw it when nobody holds him equally accountable. Theres a difference. You glazing him means ur a player fan. Not a fanbase to certain franchise.
@@WestbrickFansGotNoBrains first off, don’t ever question my fandom for the celtics. Second off, he gets tons of shit for various reasons. If he wasn’t being “held accountable”, then this video wouldn’t even exist. A true Celtics does not hate on his own players.
@johnrouguine3090 accountability for tatum only starts 2 years ago. Why? Cant take it already cupcakes. Pity you, you probably been living under a rock all this time while being celtics fan
@ probably because the celtics weren’t title contenders until 2022? 2018 and 2019 were before his prime, 2020 was his third year in the league and he played well, and how can you blame him for 2021? He still gets tons of shit for 2022 and 2023, despite helping his team win a championship. Like, what more do u want lmfao?

Exactly. There's nothing he's great at or exciting at. He's really good at several things. He's a great player. He just isn't interesting/has zero charisma.
I watched every game of the nba finals this year, and despite Jaylen Brown being one of my favourite current players, he only won the finals mvp because of the energy be brought to the court
You can't win with the media and fans these days. If you stay humble and be yourself, they'll crap on you for not being a media star. If you put yourself out there, they'll crap on you for that too. I respect the guy's game, he goes there and puts the work in and makes his team better when he's on the court. That's all that matters to me.
JT is a phenomenal player but the primary reason people don't give him respects is, he won the chip as he had the best team in the whole NBA by a mile. He was playing good but if you want the respects you need to show exceptional plays in the finals ( if you get what I mean .)

they be hating on Tatum, meanwhile he's better than most!
Bro….ANYBODY that gets mad at all this is a weirdo bro 🤣🤣 like this is crazy bro. It’s not that deep yall, let this man JT live bro lol
Jayson Tatum has a chance to win more championships for himself & for the Boston Celtics in the future. Plus he could still win now but who is going to 🛑 him & the Celtics this season.🤔
Short answer: Because he is playing for the Celtics. The media are making forced narratives about him
You can’t even deny how good he is
Tatum isn’t weird or corny. It’s just that people ran out of criticisms for him after the celtics won, so they’re grasping at straws
I noticed that. They can't call him a choker anymore because he has a ring. So, they moved on to corny. Please, Tatum is no cornier than Jimmy Butler, Giannis or Shaq.
@@wildheart2978 desperate virgins
People hate someone for their greatness and success if you haven't hated it means you're not good as a player
idnt know tatum is hated
he always came to play
not load managing
not flopping
i dont get it
He is a kid paying homage to the greats he respects. But y’all unhappy bunch will keep nitpicking on what you deem cool, the kid is on his way to a top 10 hall of fame career. Keep hating while winner win 😅
tatum needs respect

W vid but better help sponsorship is crazy
He’s just a lowkey chill guy
if he never posted that kobe text, things would be different lol we love ya JT lets win another
People just hate how successful he’s been in a short span since coming into the league, he’ll just keep on winning and the haters can keep being low life’s
Top 5 player, great teammate, NBA champion, humble personality, and a just a chill guy. Stop hating him if he’s a little corny yall are weird.
I don’t agree with criticism about the Kobe thing. That should be left alone. “ How dare you “
yeah leave that alone
“Maybe you’re just a 6ers fan.” That ad was wild lol 😂
I get Jayson Tatum gives off poser energy and playing for Boston never helps in terms of rooting for players...
But it's not the greatest look for the fan base that a relatively unobjectionable dude gets more hate than Miles Bridges.
In my opinion, he is currently 3rd greatest player of this decade. Only behind Giannis and Jokic.
Tatum is paul pearce with LeBron expectations
Might be true. People act like if you weren’t mj, Kobe, or Lebron you were trash.
well i'll just sum up why people hate tatum (coming from a TRUE celtics fan, im not tatum glazer)
1. celtics fanbase is toxic, nobody likes the celtics
2. tatum have ultimate silverspoon/golden child treatment, always able to avoid being held accountable for his inconsistency in playoffs. (hes only 19,20,21,22,23 jokes)
3. meanwhile a more consistent jaylen brown gets blame for everything despite being the most consistent of the jay duos. while tatum gets away
4. celtics struggle for a short period for consistency. breaking up jays was a topic, however, jaylen despite being the more consistent player of the duo by far is always part of the trade rumours instead of more inconsistency tatum caused the fanbase some tensions.
5. corny celebration and copying everyone else
6. the mistreat of brown and golden child tatum being glorified has divided the fanbase as well. which makes alot true celtics fan hate on tatum
well there you have it. and you guys just ignore smart bs. that guy has been back the celtics for years.
boils my blood to see smart on the court
No “true celtics fan” hates their team’s best player lol
Your right Hero ball and 1v1 against a set defense doesn't get you wins
Great ad timing
Jayson Tatum is the best player on the Celtics easily if you are going to diss him he is winning championships and you are not
People are really tyrants and brutes I’m sick of people destroying a guy just because he’s well mannered with class, Jesus you people really hate on people that are not menacing….
Haters are just everywhere. Even Jordan now has haters but obviously just some LeOnlyFans who keeps pushing their outlandish narratives.
He and Brown are good players. It's just that they got no charisma. No iconic move or any remarkable thing about him. Simply that
Exactly. There's nothing he's great at or exciting at. He's really good at several things. He's a great player. He just isn't interesting/has zero charisma.
Jayson Tatum is the Drake of the NBA
As a celtics fan, that fucking line before the ad had me rolling. great vid
Damn, he deserves more hate than I thought
😂😂😂
dude reminds me of Drake, to be fair. technically sound, but you know.. you got me. too cringe personality-wise
Bruh 💀
I love ur vids
This man is underappreciated. I love his game. Dunno why so much hate he received. He's better than 97% Players in the league.
Jason “Corny” “WE DID IT !!“ Tatum 😂
Champion
Corny but a champion. And more to come at a young age.
JT is a phenomenal player but the primary reason people don't give him respects is, he won the chip as he had the best team in the whole NBA by a mile. He was playing good but if you want the respects you need to show exceptional plays in the finals ( if you get what I mean .)
Maybe you’re a Sixers fan - I’m dying 😂😂😂
That "We did it" shout by JT cringed my face and hurt my ears
Hated for his demure nature and non ghetto like personality. Y'al are so cringe to hate on a guy just because you've been made to believe all those things said about him are true.
“We did it!!!!”
I'm like Tatum at the olympics I don't play games
Yall honestly gotta stop with this. He’s top 5 rn, all nba, nba champ hop off lmao yall hating for what
Exactly. What he has accomplished so far at his age is outstanding and he only JUST entering his prime.
@ hating for no reason lmao
@@uberexpress4268true but at the same time look at how competent of an organization he got drafted to, the likes of Jordan, lebron, and even Luka nowadays weren’t given the roster and support that tatum has gotten. That’s where he is lucky and he has been great in his role and rarely missed games, but it’s hard to ignore how much more talent and competence he has gotten compared to other generational or superstars throughout history.
Hating for engagement really
@@uberexpress4268 But ESPN loves meat riding Lebron while he is being carried by Davis
8:37 is me in math class
“I got you today”
“Heat in 7 🐍”
Just Like Jaylen Brown, the media and fans alike hate on Jayson Tatum because they play for Boston, carry about themselves like respectful young men and DGAF about pleasing the masses. I salute men who think for themselves.
nice video
They said right before game 7 ,that was in a whole different series vs heat
He be glazin
Tatum trying to copy KG is the epitome of PURE CRINGE. When he said that I cringed so hard I actually pulled a rib muscle.
They should stop calling it load management and just call it The Embid Rule
Thank you for removing the ai in your videos 💯
as a new nba fan i kept on asking why do they hate him yet he is good, and secondly why do other fans hate bsoton celtics
The tattoo, the Kobe texts, and “we did it, we DID it!” are all very lame and cringe. Not to diss his abilities, but his personality is meh.
