My take: NIL will really help domestic development. More high-level guys will play college. No one needs to go to overtime elite or the NBL anymore. Also, more borderline draftable guys will stay in college to develop and improve their stock. Since the beginning of one and done (and even a little before that) there have been countless really talented guys that leave way too early for a chance to make money that weren't ready and got tossed in the trash heap by the NBA. International guys will still be solid because they're better than they've ever been, but the changes to the college game will help. Just this year, you saw a bunch of older college guys get drafted. Guys that could've left earlier, but stayed another year because they can and they improved their games, got drafted, and look ready to contribute. And it'll cycle back if enough of these guys that they draft in the lottery that were averaging 6 points a game in the french league turn out to be busts.
